JAHMAI SIMPSON-PUSEY was last night considering a loan offer from Celtic.
The Manchester City defender is wanted by French side Strasbourg and several English Championship clubs.

But Celtic are well in contention to land the 19-year-old centre-back on a 12-month loan.
Simpson-Pusey was crowned PL2 Player of the Year last season, and also made his City first-team bow.
Boss Pep Guardiola handed him Premier League and Champions League debuts - branding the teenager "unbelievable".
The City boss has earmarked the England youth cap as one for the future, but wants him to spend a season out on loan.
Celts have allowed Gustaf Lagerbielke and Maik Nawrocki to leave this summer and are in the market for another central defender.
Stephen Welsh is expected to exit after a spell at Mechelen last term, and there is loan interest in Dane Murray after the 22-year-old shone in pre-season.
Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Liam Scales remain senior figures in that position - but boss Brendan Rodgers wants more competition.

The Hoops first made an approach for the 21-year-old Danish attacker in June and have returned to the table.
But Go Ahead technical director Jan Willem van Dop has told the Hoops to get serious about their interest in the £5millionrated forward.
He claims the only official Celtic offer was way below valuation and revealed FC Twente have made a higher bid.
Van Dop insists the Dutch side are willing to sell - but want the going rate.
He said: "Breum is negotiable, but only if the price is right. We couldn't reach an agreement with Twente.
"What I did find positive was that their thoughts were certainly higher than the official offer Celtic made.
"That was €1.5m. Twente's thoughts were higher. I've told Celtic that we won't be accepting their offer."
Celts could add two wingers between now and the transfer deadline, with Rodgers also looking for another striker.
