Victim shot at Abilene hookah lounge

ABILENE, Texas () – A victim was shot at an Abilene hookah lounge early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened at the hookah lounge on the 700 bock of N 6th Street around 2:00 a.m.
Police say officers received reports of shots fired at the location and when they arrived on scene, they located a male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and has not been public identified.
An investigation is underway and police are asking anyone with information on the incident or possible shooter to come forward and contact Abilene Crime Stoppers at (325)676-8477.

In October 2024, Day'shaun Colen, 32, was shot an killed by security officer Teddy Lee Mills while a crowd was trying to push their way inside the same hookah lounge.
