'This transaction speaks to the institutional strength of our infrastructure platform and the increasing confidence global investors have in Korea as a long-term infrastructure market. We are excited to welcome Hamilton Lane as an investor."
The deal, completed as of March 31, 2025, involves the acquisition of existing Limited Partner interests. This transaction represents the first infrastructure-focused secondary deal in Asia for IMM Investment and highlights growing institutional interest in Korean-originated infrastructure assets. It also underscores IMM Investment's ability to attract global capital through differentiated, high-performing platforms.
The IMM Infra 8th Private Equity Fund is a core-plus and value-added infrastructure vehicle, offering exposure to a diverse portfolio across Korea's energy, mobility, digital, and social infrastructure sectors.
'This transaction speaks to the institutional strength of our infrastructure platform and the increasing confidence global investors have in Korea as a long-term infrastructure market,' said Jin Heum Paek, CEO of IMM Investment Singapore. 'We are excited to welcome Hamilton Lane as an investor. Our investment in the IMM Infra 8th Private Equity Fund underscores Hamilton Lane's ongoing commitment to identifying unique opportunities in the infrastructure space, and we look forward to leveraging our global platform to support the continued growth and success of this fund."
Through this partnership, IMM Investment will continue to actively manage the fund's portfolio with a hands-on, value-creation approach, leveraging its sector expertise and in-market operational knowledge. Hamilton Lane, in turn, brings global secondaries capabilities, cross-border reach and institutional due diligence expertise—reinforcing shared alignment in governance, long-term investment outlook, and responsible ownership practices.
This deal also marks an important step in IMM Investment's continued evolution from a Korea-focused asset manager to a regional platform with growing international reach. Launched in 2023, IMM Investment Singapore serves as the firm's overseas fundraising and strategic partnership hub. By connecting global capital with Korean-originated opportunities, IMM Investment Singapore is expected to continue playing a key role in enabling cross-border investments in infrastructure and other alternative asset classes.

‘A New High Is Likely,' Says Top Analyst About Nvidia Stock
Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has been in focus this past week following news that the company, along with peer AMD, reached an agreement with the U.S. government to hand over 15% of its China-generated revenue in exchange for securing export licenses to the country. Elevate Your Investing Strategy: Take advantage of TipRanks Premium at 50% off! Unlock powerful investing tools, advanced data, and expert analyst insights to help you invest with confidence. Piper Sandler's Harsh Kumar, an analyst ranked in 13th spot amongst the thousands of Wall Street stock experts, sees the deal as a pivotal factor that could meaningfully shift demand patterns in the October quarter. The reasoning stems from Nvidia's recent China performance and expectations. The company reported about $7.1 billion in revenue from China in the April quarter – $4.6 billion realized in the partial quarter through April 9, with another $2.5 billion lost due to the export ban – and had estimated potential China revenue of up to $8 billion for the July quarter. Kumar believes the licensing process and supply channel reopening could stretch through August but, with the new 15% revenue-share deal in place, he anticipates the government will fast-track customer license approvals. Beyond October, the analyst forecasts that China's demand could normalize to a growth pace of roughly 12–15% per quarter. This outlook feeds directly into expectations for Nvidia's imminent July quarter readout on August 27. Kumar is calling for revenue of about $45.1 billion, broadly in line with the company's original guidance, while noting that Street estimates have nudged higher to around $45.7 billion. Given Nvidia's track record of slightly exceeding forecasts and easing data center supply constraints, the analyst sees a realistic chance for modest upside. The broader supply-demand picture reinforces this optimism. Kumar maintains that Nvidia is still in a 'demand greater than supply' environment, a condition likely to persist through year-end. Even without China in the mix, U.S. HPC demand is outpacing Nvidia's production capacity, a situation further complicated by changes to its rack-based models and GB200 launch delays. The pause in China shipments briefly relieved pressure, but Kumar expects the floodgates to reopen once licenses are issued, unleashing strong pent-up demand. Adding to that, U.S. hyperscale spending is not just holding up but showing signs of accelerating. Based on recent capex updates from major hyperscalers, Kumar expects that as ongoing construction projects conclude, more budget will shift toward compute resources. In his view, the largest HPC players are in a multi-year race toward AGI capabilities and are committed to spending at that level for the foreseeable future. Factoring in all these elements, a new high for Nvidia stock looks likely, as Kumar lifts his price target from $180 to $225 – signaling a potential 23% upside over the next year. His rating remains an Overweight (i.e., Buy). (To watch Kumar's track record, click here) There are plenty of other NVDA bulls on the Street – 35, in total – and the addition of 3 Holds and 1 Sell can't detract from a Strong Buy consensus rating. However, the $189.23 average price target now only makes room for modest 12-month returns of 4%. Netcapital Inc (NCPL) Q4 2025 Earnings Call Highlights: Strategic Shifts Amid Revenue Challenges
Release Date: August 13, 2025 For the complete transcript of the earnings call, please refer to the full earnings call transcript. Positive Points Netcapital Inc (NASDAQ:NCPL) has transitioned its business strategy to focus on building a more scalable foundation for future growth. The company received a broker-dealer license for its subsidiary, Net Capital Securities, positioning it to serve a broader base of issuers and investors. Netcapital Inc (NASDAQ:NCPL) successfully facilitated significant fundraising efforts for its clients, such as Magfast raising over $10 million. The company is exploring the integration of blockchain and digital assets with traditional finance, which could open new opportunities. Netcapital Inc (NASDAQ:NCPL) remains committed to its mission of democratizing access to private capital markets, focusing on long-term value creation. Negative Points Netcapital Inc (NASDAQ:NCPL) reported a significant decline in revenues from $4.9 million in fiscal 2024 to $869,460 in fiscal 2025. The company experienced an operating loss of approximately $8.3 million for fiscal 2025, compared to $3.4 million in fiscal 2024. Netcapital Inc (NASDAQ:NCPL) wrote off several investments, resulting in an impairment expense of approximately $19.9 million. The net loss for fiscal 2025 was approximately $28.3 million, a substantial increase from the $4.9 million loss in fiscal 2024. High general and administrative expenses, particularly legal costs, are a concern for the company's sustainability as a public entity. Q & A Highlights Warning! GuruFocus has detected 3 Warning Signs with NCPL. Q: Could you shed light on your transition and what you're looking forward to doing in the future? A: Martin Kay, CEO: We are broadening our platform to help companies raise capital, particularly through Reg A capital raisings, which are typically larger. We secured a broker-dealer license for our subsidiary, Net Capital Securities, to facilitate this. Additionally, we are exploring the integration of blockchain, digital assets, and crypto with traditional finance, despite the regulatory environment being in flux. Q: Was the consulting business the major cost of running the company, contributing to the large loss this year? Also, could you elaborate on your plans with crypto? A: Martin Kay, CEO: The consulting business was not as scalable and often involved being paid in equity, which is hard to value. We are focusing on more scalable, cash-generating products and services. Regarding crypto, we are evaluating opportunities for long-term value creation and are interested in integrating blockchain into our capital formation process. Q: Are you evaluating different strategies with current trends other companies are adopting? A: Martin Kay, CEO: Our long-term mission remains to democratize access to capital in private markets. We are expanding across Reg A and exploring ways to integrate blockchain, digital assets, and crypto with our traditional fintech approach. Q: The current business model seems unsustainable. Is a strategic pivot needed? A: Martin Kay, CEO: We believe there is a path to sustainability and value creation. Incorporating blockchain is an extension of our strategy, not a pivot. We are committed to our long-term mission and are exploring ways to improve liquidity in secondary markets. Q: Why are your G&A expenses so high for a small company? Are you considering going private? A: Martin Kay, CEO: Our legal expenses are high due to the regulatory environment in the fintech space. We are not considering going private; we believe the benefits of being a public company outweigh the costs, and some of our initiatives will benefit from public exposure.
