
Five assessed after house fire on Sherburn Street
At 5:27 p.m., Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews arrived to find smoke coming from the home. All occupants had evacuated before firefighters got to the scene.
Crews brought the fire under control by 5:59 p.m.
Paramedics assessed five people at the scene. No one was taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates were not immediately available.

Northwestern Ont. drug bust yields fake firearms, cash, charges
