Love Island SPOILER: Girls turn on Dejon and brand him 'nasty' as they demand answers after dramatic kissing challenge
Dejon Noel Williams, 26, is one half of the villa's only exclusive couple alongside Megan Moore - and he seems keen to make a point during the upcoming episode.
As the kissing challenge kicks off, most boys enthusiastically deliver their scores and feedback.
However Dejon's feedback dampens the mood: 'That kiss was two words… no good. Zero out of ten.' Toni questions his involvement: 'Are you not participating in today's game?'
Later, at the Firepit, Yasmin, Toni and Shakira discuss Dejon's approach to the challenge.
Yasmin states: 'We all saw what happened in the challenge today with Dejon. In a lot of these scenarios he goes on the attack straight away. His comments were just rude and he didn't need to be that nasty. He's obviously trying to play things safe because he's exclusive with Meg… I'm going to speak to him.'
Elsewhere, Emma discusses the same issue with Cach, saying of Dejon: 'Why does he behave like that? I just don't get it, he's such bad vibes all round.'
Earlier in the day Emma gets a text, reading: 'Islanders, pucker up and prepare to bring the passion.
'It's time to find out who's the ultimate snogger in today's kissing competition #LipsDontLie #SnogLikeYouMeanit.'
The girls proceed to kiss the boys who are blindfolded, and wearing headphones with music playing.
Each kiss is rated out of ten, with the highest score determining the winner. Between rounds, the music pauses so the boys can hear each other's scores and feedback.
Toni hosts the game, asking the group 'Who's ready to get their snog on?' and keeps track of scores on a blackboard.
Yasmin begins, slowly kissing each excited boy in the lineup.
But some boys enjoy the game a little too much for their partners' comfort, with Yasmin noticing Jamie's wandering hands, exclaiming: 'What the f*** am I watching?'
In the first look clip, Dejon is seen criticising multiple kisses, referring to them as 'no good' and even saying he didn't think it could get worse

After the competition, Toni announces the results and not everyone is happy. Particularly Helena.
Elsewhere in the episode, Shakira and Toni check in following Harrison's dramatic departure from the Villa.
Shakira reflects on Toni's time spent with him and shares: 'It's a shame, if Harrison was around he probably halted other connections. When you were at Casa, you did have something with Cach.'
She adds: 'I know he still likes you… Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. He's still here, he's still caught up on you and there's still a spark there.'
Hopeful, Toni responds: 'I know he forgives me and he understands why I made the decision I did.'
Elsewhere, Cach catches up with the boys at the Firepit who ask him where his head is at.
'Curveball innit,' he replies. 'The conversation with Toni threw the plan of action.'
Ty asks if there's a chance of reigniting their connection and Cach pauses, before covering his face. As the boys take that as confirmation, Conor claps his hands in excitement.
'He's flying, my boy!' says Ty.
In a not-so-shocking turn of events, Harry also decides to pull Shakira for a chat following the Couple of Sorts game, and the comment he made suggesting she was still interested in him.
He starts: 'I'm not trying to come between anything you're doing. I think if you did like me, you'd go after it… you're a smart girl and you'd do what you want.'
'I think the world of you,' he continues. 'I just wanted to apologise to you and I am sorry.'
She replies: 'What was said in the kitchen was so misconstrued… For you guys to bring it up in a challenge is stupid and I don't know why you did it to be honest.
'I thought it was uncalled for but I appreciate your apology.'
Curious, Harry poses a question: 'Do you think it would have been a better experience for you if we were to stay together?'

Love Island fans work out real reason Harry is ‘picking fight' with Helena as pair clash at Grafties
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LOVE Island fans have predicted that Harry is causing beef with Helena - for his own benefit. According to viewers, footballer Harry picked a fight with Helena on purpose and used the information received during The Grafties as a way out. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 4 The footballer was seen getting the hump after hearing news about Helena Credit: Eroteme 4 Viewers have claimed that Harry's wild moves are a plot to win his ex back Credit: Eroteme Fans watched last night as an angry Harry accused Helena of playing games and not being 'all about him' when she returned to the villa after the Sleepover. A bemused Helena argued it was 'weeks ago' and was not the same as him flirting outrageously with a number of girls, most recently Angel. Harry was seen becoming riled by Helena's previous behaviour - although they weren't even together at the time. Viewers have now clocked Harry's escape plan - so he can go back to ex Shakira - who he was previously coupled up. Harry barked during their heated chat at The Grafties: "I thought you were all for me when you came back?" Toni noted: "He's just trying to pick a fight with her." Conor agreed: "That's crazy behaviour." The official Love Island Instagram account asked fans: "Is Harry picking fights or bringing up fair points?" Users commented: "Picking fights as an excuse to crawl back to Shakira and blame Helena." A second predicted: "When you wish to end a relationship, you find every little thing about the other person irritating, and that is what Harry is trying to do." Watch moment Harry admits he still has feelings for Shakira after star threatened to quit villa A third agreed: "Harry has some cheek after all he has said and done - that was pure excuse to slip off from Helena on to Shakira." "Welcome to Harry's Gas Lighting class, please take your seats," mocked another. "He's trying to start something just to start something," mused a fan. "Harry's trying to start something with Helena, so that he can leave her for Shakira and put the blame on to Helena," assumed another. "Harry's 100% using this as an excuse to try to get back with Shakira," wrote another user. "Harry is picking a fight so Helena can end it without him looking bad... He thinks he can go back to Shakira even though she didn't tell him she doesn't want him," penned another sofa detective. The lingering love triangle has erupted since Shakira dumped Conor and Harry was her shoulder to cry on. Semi pro footballer Harry ditched Shakira after Helena pursued him for weeks. The couple have just made their relationship 'exclusive' but Harry has been unable to shake his previous connection with Shakira after she confessed she wasn't over him. It led to a huge showdown between the footballer and his girl, Helena. Helena and Harry are now 'done' after an explosive row over Shakira - not yet seen on screen. Earlier in the week, former flames Harry and Shakira were seen having an intense chat about her emotions. Indecisive Harry shocked viewers as he asked Shakira if they could 'hang out' when they leave the villa. 4 Fans are accusing Harry of picking a fight with Helena so he can move back to Shakira Credit: Eroteme

Australian actor Rebel Wilson sued by production company behind her own film
The legal drama surrounding The Deb, Rebel Wilson's directorial debut, has made landfall in Australia, with one of the production companies behind the venture filing a lawsuit against Wilson in the New South Wales supreme court this week. UK-based AI Film, represented by Australian legal firm Giles George and high-profile barrister Sue Chrysanthou SC, accused the Pitch Perfect Australian actor of deliberately sabotaging the film's release, alleging threats and defamatory claims had caused the production company financial and reputational damage. The suit also claims the motive behind Wilson's actions was to devalue the production's worth and pressure AI Film and Australian company Dunburn Debutantes Commissioning Company (DDCC – the entity managing the film's rights and named as the second plaintiff in the lawsuit) into selling their stake to Wilson's company Camp Sugar. Originally conceived as a quirky musical comedy celebrating Australian culture, The Deb was co-produced by AI Film and Camp Sugar, with Wilson directing and starring. But the partnership fractured in mid-2024 when Wilson took to Instagram to accuse fellow producers Amanda Ghost, Gregor Cameron and Vince Holden of alleged embezzlement, sexual misconduct and obstructing the film's release. The allegations, broadcast to Wilson's 11 million followers, were swiftly denied by the producers who began defamation proceedings against Wilson in the Los Angeles superior court last July. In November, the film's lead actor, Charlotte MacInnes, who Wilson claimed was the victim of the alleged sexual misconduct, filed a declaration in the US court stating that Wilson fabricated the claims, describing them as 'completely false and absurd'. The court subsequently threw out Wilson's bid to strike out the defamation suit, not accepting her lawyer's argument that under California's anti-Slapp laws, the accusations she had made against the producers of her The Deb constituted 'protected activity' and were a matter of public interest. That defamation case remains ongoing. After filing its lawsuit in the supreme court's equities division on Thursday, AI Film issued the following statement: 'These proceedings are regrettable but essential to ensure The Deb's timely release. It's a joyous, fun film, and we are sure that audiences are going to love it.' And MacInnes issued a second statement, saying: 'I love this film and I can't wait for it to be released … it would be wonderful if these proceedings can help make that happen.' Wilson's Californian legal team, Freedman Taitelman + Cooley, which is handling the defamation case, did not respond to the Guardian's request for comment. In its lawsuit filed this week, Giles George claims that on 5 January, Wilson's lawyer Bryan Freedman responded to correspondence by AI Film's legal team, saying that 'Wilson is currently in active discussions to outright purchase The Deb (the 'Film') and all associated rights and title'. The Freedman letter also threatened to 'pursue all claims and damages should Al Film or any agents acting on its behalf interfere with that business opportunity'. AI Film is alleging that Wilson's motivation behind her alleged undermining of distribution efforts, including making threats to seek an injunction against the film's release, was personal financial gain. AI Film's lawyers claim that on 6 June 2025, Wilson had a discussion with film distributor Kismet, who was bidding to secure the rights for the theatrical release of The Deb in Australia, during which she said words to the effect that she was supportive of Kismet as the Australian distributor of the film but while there was a legal case involving the film in the US she could not support the film's distribution and would seek an injunction if any attempts to distribute the film were made. Giles George alleges Wilson knew the legal proceedings in the US were not impeding the film's release, and knew the threat of injunction was against her and her company, Camp Sugar's, contractual obligations. But as evidence in Byran Freedman's correspondent to them in January, Wilson was delaying the film's release so that she could pursue the 'business opportunity' of buying all rights to the film outright. AI Film is seeking damages, a formal apology, corrective advertising and a permanent restraint on Wilson and her company making any further disparaging and incorrect claims relating to other companies and individuals involved in the making of The Deb, which have come to been know in legal circles as 'The Wilson Statements'.

The shock casting method show bosses use to select Love Island contestants has been revealed
The shock casting method used by Love Island bosses to select contestants for the show has been revealed. It's been reported that ITV execs have admitted to using artificial intelligence as part of the casting process for the reality TV show. After the cast of the 2025 series was revealed earlier this year, fans were quick to mock the newbies as 'clones' of the previous stars, with the likes of Megan Forte Clarke being compared to 2019 islander Maura Higgins. And now The Sun reports that automated technology has been used to whittle down the thousands of applicants for the show. Speaking as ITV announced its half-year results, ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall shared: 'We will use AI in any way we can to make what we do more efficient. 'And a great example of that for me from (ITV) Studios is they're using a tool where it's a smart editing assistance and it's about speed and quality. And they used it for Love Island and casting this year.' She added that the team 'rated it eight out of ten'. Meanwhile, an ITV spokesperson confirmed to MailOnline that AI was not directly used to make casting decisions, but rather to edit hundreds of hours of footage into highlight reels for the team to watch. They shared: 'It simply assists with the editing of audition tapes during the casting period. 'We get thousands and thousands of applications every year and we hold face to face auditions. 'When we get to the stage of narrowing it down to hundreds of prospective Islanders and we want to share audition highlights on a reel with the ITV commissioning team, to support the casting decision, we use the software (Quickture along with an Adobe editing programme) to edit the hundreds of hours of footage into highlight reels.' They added that the process means the casting team can 'spend more time researching' and looking for more prospective Islanders. It comes as Love Island fans have hit out at show bosses during Thursday's episode after they were left unimpressed by how Shakira Khan was given the 'villain edit'. Prior to the episode airing, It was reported that the 22-year-old threatened to quit the ITV2 dating show over the situation with Harry. A source told The Sun: 'She went to the beach hut and asked to leave the villa. 'The duty of care team were able to help her through her emotions and she decided to stay.' In the latest episode of the ITV show, the infamous Grafties returned - where contestants are shown clips on a big screen that either revive past drama or highlight hilarious moments that most of the villa hadn't seen before. The nominees for the Best Double Act award were Dejon and Helena, Toni and Shakira, and Helena and Meg. During the clips, Toni and Shakira were seen talking negatively about Meg, following movie night. After watching the gossip on the big screen, Meg said she felt that Shakira and Toni were 'fake to her face,' prompting Toni to fire back: 'So are you. You act like you never say a bad thing about anyone.' Next came Helena and Meg's clip, which, in contrast, highlighted their blossoming friendship in the villa. Toni and Shakira went on to win the award, with Shakira saying: 'We said what we said, it was after Movie Night. 'I don't know why it's so surprising, we had a scrap that night.' It comes after Love Island fans have hit out at show bosses during Thursday's episode after they were left unimpressed by how Shakira Khan was given the 'villain edit' during the Grafties Fans are now calling out show bosses for giving Shakira the 'villain edit' during the game Fans are now calling out show bosses for giving Shakira the 'villain edit' during the game. They raged on X: 'If they hurt Shakira anymore I'm literally going to stay for the credits, note down each producers name and HUNT THEM DOWN,' 'The producers convincing Shakira to stay in the villa so she could get attacked at the grafties is just evil #LoveIsland,' 'The fact we've seen Shakira be so sad, open & vulnerable recently. And now the producers are gonna paint her out to be bad with the Grafties, and make her feel even worse :(( i don't wanna watch,' 'Look at the clip they used for Meg and Helena vs the one they used for Shakira and Toni, and tell me again with a straight face that there isn't a clear agenda,' 'Why are the producers giving Shakira and Toni this bad edit!'
