National Award-winning filmmaker Ram Madhvani , known for works such as Neerja and Aarya, has announced his latest foray into storytelling. It is an ambitious AI-Virtual Reality (VR) venture that marks the beginning of India's first spiritual, mythological, and cultural universe hosted in the mesmerising and immersive world of virtual reality.'In theatres, we experience magic. At home, we have scale and comfort. But in personal viewing, we are often watching stories on split screens, sharing attention with emails, calls, or messages,' said Ram Madhvani, Co-founder, Equinox Virtual . 'With VR, especially powered by AI, we have a chance to restore the sanctity of immersive storytelling—even in a solitary experience. And what better canvas than our own epics that have lived through centuries—spiritual texts that remain culturally resonant to this day?,' Madhvani addedWhile industry attention has often been focused on VR hardware, Madhvani's contrarian bet is on content. 'Devices will improve. But the real challenge, and opportunity, is in the story, and the soul,' he said.Crafted over two years, the first short film is a cutting-edge AI adaptation of the Bhagavad Gita and has already begun private previews for select audiences. With 24 more films in development over the next year and a goal to scale to 100 films by 2028, the venture aims to reimagine spiritual, cultural, and personal viewing experiences for the modern Indian audience.Choosing mythology, spiritual teachings, and devotional narratives as the foundation, the VR content leverages AI to create deeply immersive, culturally rooted experiences. This is not just a one-off experiment, but the beginning of a long-term vision: to build an AI Gita-inspired mythological universe in VR, steeped in Indian storytelling traditions, spiritual meaning and powered by state-of-the-art technology.'At Equinox, we've always believed that technology should serve emotion, not overshadow it. This venture is deeply personal. It is an offering of faith, form, and future. With mythology as our compass and AI-VR as our vessel, we're inviting audiences into a space where timeless stories can be experienced in profoundly new ways,' said Amita Madhvani, Co-founder, Equinox Virtual. 'It's not just about innovation, it's about devotion—reimagined for a generation ready to feel, not just watch.'In terms of distribution, Madhvani is in talks with device manufacturers. The venture has already sparked significant investor interest. Madhvani said 'These are matters of scale and ongoing negotiation. I wanted to ensure the first film matched my creative vision before inviting partners into this journey.'Equinox Virtual is the immersive storytelling division of Equinox Films, co-founded by visionary filmmaker Ram Madhvani and Amita Madhvani. Focused on building India's first mythological, cultural and spiritual universe in VR, Equinox Virtual blends centuries-old Indian epics with cutting-edge technology, beginning with an AI adaptation of the Bhagavad Gita.

Spanning over 42 000 square feet, the first EV plant in Jafza will assemble OSM's range of electric two-and three-wheelers as well as handle storage and distribution of auto components and spare parts, the company said. 'He's not studying at all...': Sachin Tendulkar's humorous response to Air Hostess as she mistook Indian cricketer for Arjun
Sachin Tendulkar Apart from being widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time, Sachin Tendulkar is also a master prankster. Anyone who played alongside him especially the 2000 batch that debuted under Sourav Ganguly will vouch for it. Stories of Tendulkar teasing his teammates have become legendary. Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, and Virender Sehwag all experienced it firsthand, but none of their encounters compare to what Suresh Raina went through. From 2006 until the Master Blaster's retirement, Raina and Tendulkar were teammates. Despite all the ups and downs, Raina vividly recalls this one incident on a plane. They were also involved in some well-known victories and heartbreaks at the same time. Raina recalled the time Tendulkar chose to amuse himself at his expense while they were traveling to a city to play a match. Suresh Raina recalled a funny story from a flight with Sachin Tendulkar 'We were once going to play a Test match when I was about 18 years old, and I was sitting in business class next to Sachin paaji. The air hostess came over and said, 'Good morning, Sachin sir. How are you?' and assuming I was Arjun Tendulkar, she said something to him about me in passing; Sachin paaji saw a chance to have some fun. He replied, 'Yes, he's not studying at all, what to do? I've even told Anjali (Tendulkar)',' Raina said on the 'Cheeky Singles' show. The incident most likely occurred after July 2010, the year Raina made his Indian Test debut. Raina joined a distinguished list that includes Mohammad Azharuddin, Sourav Ganguly, and Virender Sehwag, and became the 12th Indian batter to score a century in his Test debut against Sri Lanka in Colombo. Recalling that flight in more detail, Raina said that Sachin eventually took to the skies and resolved the case of mistaken identity, but not before they all laughed heartily about it. 'Later, we went to the section where the other players were sitting, and I blurted, 'Why are you making me sit in business class? You've made me Arjun Tendulkar!' (Sachin) paaji eventually clarified it to air hostess saying, 'He's a part of the Indian cricket team, he is Suresh Raina, not my son'. Paaji loved playing such big pranks sometimes.' Raina mentioned. Sachin Tendulkar and Suresh Raina have shared some incredible batting partnership There have been some amazing batting partnership between Raina and Tendulkar, but none more well-known than their 256-run partnership in the same game at Colombo. India reached a massive first-innings total of 707 thanks to 203 runs from Tendulkar and 120 from Raina. The game ended in a draw.
