A Saturday Kitchen guest didn't hold back as they exposed host Matt Tebbutt's behaviour on the programme.
The BBC show returned to screens on Saturday morning (August 17) with Matt back at the helm. Joining Matt on the programme were chefs Paul Ainsworth, Sam Evans and Shauna Guinn, as well as special guest Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
But things took an awkward turn when Matt demanded one of the guests to 'park it there' after they let slip a rather awkward confession about the beloved TV star.
As Paul Ainsworth cooked up a delicious dish for Matt and the guests, Matt quizzed him: 'Is this on the menu in your restaurant Caffè Rojano?'
Paul replied: 'Yes we put this on the menu,' to which Matt gushed: 'It's a great restaurant.'
Wine expert Olly then chimed in: 'I love it, me and my family we've gone there several times. Really informal setting, delicious food.' Matt added: 'Super relaxed.'
Olly said: 'Well in your case Matthew very relaxed. A little too relaxed perhaps..,' as an awkward silence filled the studio.
Matt proclaimed: 'Let's park that there!' But chef Paul wasn't going to let it go. He said: 'Shall we go there? Shall we go there?!'
Matt replied: 'Let's not,' as Paul continued: 'I think the viewers need to know that you fell asleep in Caffè Rojano!' An embarrassed Matt laughed along with his guests and he admitted: 'It had been a long day.'
It comes after Matt spilled the secrets of working in live television - and opened up on the toughest part of the job.
Despite revealing he relishes the challenge every week on the BBC show, Matt has admitted the crew face a number of challenges in a bid to make the long-running show continue to air smoothly.
The 51-year-old chef has presented the weekend morning food show since 2017, when he took over from James Martin. And he has admitted that the crew are "like family" and are often met with many challenges, meaning they have to rehearse "a lot" despite it looking like they "wing it" at times.
Saturday Kitchen airs every Saturday at 10am on BBC One.

I can dance, I can enjoy myself, that's the most important thing. 'Although I think we're going to do well and although I think we're going to have fun with it, it would be nice to do myself 100% justice by competing another time on the main series. 'It would be good to be in a position where I can show my ultimate self. I've got the bug. If the opportunity arises… it's abut being in an arena and learning a new skill. If the opportunity arises, I would jump at it, literally because I'll be able to jump by then.' Earlier this year Strictly Come Dancing confirmed the professional lineup for 2025. Dianne Buswell, who lifted the glitter ball in December with Chris McCausland, will be joining Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal in returning to the dance floor this September. Amy Dowden, who pulled out in the opening weeks of last year's show due to a foot injury, will also be back on Strictly for 2025, as will Carlos Gu and Kai Widdrington, who didn't have a celebrity partner last year. Despite rumours that he might be making a return after missing out on last year's series, Giovanni Pernice will not be heading back to the ballroom this time around. The BBC received seven complaints from women over Wynne Evans ' conduct towards them, including one claim he made an inappropriate comment about a pregnant woman's breasts during a Zoom call. The Mail on Sunday's revelations come just days after opera singer Evans, axed from his BBC Wales breakfast radio show last month, protested on ITV 's This Morning that there had been no allegations made against him. He appeared on the show last Wednesday to tell hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard: 'There has never been any complaints about me. Ever!' The MoS can instead disclose that BBC Wales staff raised the seven separate grievances between July 2023 and August 2024, including a period after Evans, 53, was approached to appear on last year's Strictly Come Dancing. Four of the complaints were made before he joined Strictly, raising questions over why the dance show's producers signed him up. Three more were made after he had been chosen for the show. A report into his behaviour was prepared in January for a disciplinary hearing which he said he could not attend, citing mental health issues. The Go Compare frontman's time on Strictly was mired in controversy. The Mail on Sunday told in January how he was filmed using the vile term 'spit roast' – a three-way sex act – to his co-star Jamie Borthwick in relation to professional dancer Janette Manrara during the launch of the Strictly Live Tour. He apologised and left the tour. Evans had earlier been caught up in a 'wandering hand' incident with his Strictly dance partner, Katya Jones. One source said of the BBC Wales complaints: 'Some of the comments he made were awful. 'Imagine making a comment about a pregnant woman's breasts. His behaviour left many women feeling uncomfortable.' A former colleague, who wants to remain anonymous for fears of career repercussions, told the MoS the complaints were well known among staff at the Welsh broadcaster but 'everyone was afraid to speak out' because Evans was seen as 'untouchable'. She said: 'That's why he got away with it for so long and why he will get away with it.' The woman revealed how the father-of-two's inappropriate behaviour 'built up over the years'. She said: 'At first, he was known as an idiot and a clown but it turned into something more sinister and tipped into being inappropriate and uncomfortable to be around and work with. 'These complaints are real. He is not just someone who has made a few rude jokes. There are women who have made complaints and he was warned time and time again and just kept going. 'The argument that he has of 'Oh, I'm just a product of my time. It's just a joke'... well, those times are gone and you can't act that way, especially if you have been warned about it.' A BBC spokesman said: 'We take any issues raised with us seriously and we have robust processes in place to deal with them.' A spokesman for Evans declined to comment.

He worked as an armour officer in the air force and during his time he completed six tours of Iraq, four tours of Afghanistan and worked on Operation Red Flag. During a stint in south-central Asia, Nathanael got injured by shrapnel from a roadside bomb. The bomb was remotely detonated and was medically discharged. Advertisement Four years after leaving the military Nathanael was diagnosed with late-onset type 1 diabetes. Doctors also found a blood clot in his leg amid the coronavirus pandemic. He then contracted three bouts of sepsis and decided to have an above-knee amputation on his leg in October 2022. After the amputation Nathanael began coaching and got back into triathlons. Advertisement He was also on the UK paratriathlon pathway with a goal of competing for Team GB. Nathanael's cause of death is not known. Tributes were paid to Nathanael after news of his death broke two months ago. Tritons RUFC shared a touching tribute for their "dear friend and former player". Advertisement The tribute read: "It is with deep sadness that Liverpool Tritons RUFC announces the passing of our dear friend, former player, and coach, Nathanael Hill – known to many simply as Nate. "Nate was a cherished member of the Tritons for several years. "His commitment to inclusive rugby and to our community helped shape the club into what it is today." The tribute added: "More than his achievements in the game, Nate will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humour, and the unwavering support he showed to teammates, new players, and friends alike. Advertisement "His loss will be felt deeply across the club and far beyond." Before his death, Nathanael revealed his dream of achieving gold for Team GB at the 2028 LA Paralympics. Speaking to the Liverpool Echo last year about his Team GB dreams, Nathanael said: 'If I get to represent Team GB it would just be a full circle. It would be a swan song for me. "My last engagement for the Air Force was opening the London 2012 Olympics games and the 2023 Olympics is going to be in LA, America, where I was recognised for saving two American officers' lives.
