National Security Advisor Ajit Doval's planned trip to Moscow this week has been called off as he is indisposed due to seasonal flu, sources said on Monday.
Doval was scheduled to attend the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues to be held in Moscow from May 27 to 29.
He is unable to participate in the meeting due to indisposition with a seasonal flu, the sources said.
The NSA is looking forward to taking forward bilateral engagement with Russia on strategic and security matters at an early date, they said.

FS Misri holds talks with Nepal's top leadership on boosting ties
Kathmandu, Aug 17 (PTI) Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Sunday called on Nepal Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli and President Ramchandra Paudel and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral ties across various sectors. Misri arrived here earlier in the day for a two-day visit to the Himalayan nation on the invitation of his Nepalese counterpart Amrit Bahadur Rai. During his meeting with Oli, which took place at the Prime Minister's Office at Singhdurbar, matters of mutual interest were discussed to further deepen bilateral relations. 'In 'Essentials of Hindutva' (written in 1922), Savarkar defines Hindutva not by religion, but by homeland, India as both 'Fatherland and Holyland',' he stated. Kharge pointed out that during the Hindu Mahasabha's 19th session in Ahmedabad in 1937, Savarkar had said, 'There are two antagonistic nations living side by side in India. India cannot be assumed today to be a unitarian and homogenous nation. On the contrary there are two nations in the main: the Hindus and the Moslems, in India.' He further cited Savarkar's remarks in 1943 at Nagpur: 'I have no quarrel with Mr Jinnah's two-nation theory. We, Hindus, are a nation by ourselves, and it is a historical fact that Hindus and Muslims are two nations.' Questioning whether the BJP acknowledges this history, Kharge quoted B R Ambedkar's observation, 'Strange as it may appear, Mr Savarkar and Mr Jinnah, instead of being opposed to each other, on the one nation versus two nations issue are in complete agreement about it.
