Dubai, UAE, March 2025: Fabtech Engineering, a steel fabrication specialist based at Dubai Industrial City, has entered a strategic agreement with French industrial leader Groupe M to accelerate innovation and sustainable development in the UAE's nuclear and sustainable energies sectors.
The agreement was signed during a ceremony attended by Nicolas Niemtchinow, Ambassador of the French Republic to the UAE; Anouar Mekkas, Nuclear and Renewable Energy Adviser at the French Ambassy in Saudi Arabia and the UAE; and, on behalf of Dubai Industrial City, Saud Abu Alshawareb, Executive Vice President of Industrial at TECOM Group PJSC. Fabtech Engineering's Chairman, Dr. Harry Moraes, and Vice President Business Development, Fabien Jeoffroy, signed the agreement with Groupe M's Chairman, Julien Monteiro, and Deputy CEO Pierre-Laurent Buch. Also in attendance were representatives from the French Nuclear Strategic Committee, Business France, Trouvay Cauvin, and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in UAE.

The companies will develop comprehensive engineering, manufacturing, and on-site products and solutions to support the nuclear and sustainable energies sector, contributing to the long-term goals of UAE Energy Strategy 2050.
Pierre-Laurent Buch, Deputy CEO at Groupe M, said: 'This landmark agreement opens doors to exciting new opportunities in the Middle East and builds upon the robust ties between the UAE and France. Fabtech's strong presence in Dubai Industrial City, coupled with its expertise, aligns with Groupe M's growth strategy. As part of the agreement, Fabtech will also upgrade its existing 2.1 million sq.ft. facility at Dubai Industrial City, in line with its commitment to sustainability and innovation.
'Nurturing homegrown knowledge is crucial for creating a vibrant and sustainable industrial sector,' said Saud Abu Alshawareb, Executive Vice President of Industrial at TECOM Group PJSC, on behalf of Dubai Industrial City. During the 16th session of the UAE-France Strategic Dialogue held in May 2024, senior officials from both countries reflected on successful partnerships and industrial cooperation in areas including renewables and nuclear energy, and explored ways to further expand their cooperation in areas such as new builds and small nuclear reactors.

White House Launches TikTok Account
Israa Farhan The White House has officially launched its account on TikTok, even as the Chinese-owned platform faces the threat of a nationwide ban in the United States. In its first post on Tuesday, the White House shared a 27-second video featuring clips of Donald Trump alongside the caption 'America is back! What's new, TikTok?'. The profile description reads: 'Welcome to the golden age of America.' Within just three hours, the official account had already gained more than 25,000 followers. Trump's personal TikTok account remains one of the largest on the platform, with over 110 million followers, even though he has not posted since 5 November 2024, the day of the presidential election that returned him to power. TikTok, owned by Chinese tech giant ByteDance, has been at the center of a political storm in Washington. Under legislation passed by Congress in 2024, the app faces a ban in the US unless ByteDance relinquishes control. Lawmakers from both parties have expressed concern that the Chinese government could exploit user data or manipulate public opinion through the app. Although Trump has repeatedly extended the deadline for ByteDance to sell TikTok, he has admitted to having what he called 'a soft spot' for the platform. The current deadline for a sale is set for 17 September. The White House already maintains a strong presence across social media, with 2.4 million followers on X (formerly Twitter) and 9.3 million on Instagram. Trump himself has 108.5 million followers on X, though he primarily uses his platform, Truth Social, where he is followed by 10.6 million users. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated

Musk Drops Plans to Launch New Political Party
Israa Farhan Elon Musk is quietly abandoning his plans to launch a new political party in the United States, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal citing people familiar with the matter. The billionaire entrepreneur has told allies he intends to focus on his companies rather than pursuing political ambitions. Musk first announced the creation of the so-called 'America Party' in July, following a public clash with President Donald Trump over a tax and spending bill. However, the world's richest man is now said to be prioritizing his business empire while maintaining close ties with Vice President J.D. Vance. Sources told the newspaper that Musk admitted forming a political party could damage his relationship with Vance. Musk and his advisers have even suggested to people close to Vance that the Tesla and SpaceX chief might use part of his vast resources to back the vice president should he launch a presidential bid in 2028. Reuters has not yet been able to independently verify the report. Tesla and the White House declined to comment outside official working hours. Vance, who earlier this year called for calm after Musk's public row with Trump, reiterated his position this month and urged Musk to return to the Republican fold. Musk has also issued a warning to investors that Tesla could face a difficult period in the coming financial quarters, particularly as Trump's administration phases out federal support for electric vehicles. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated
