NEW RELEASE: Rivals Five-Star event returns to Indianapolis
The 2025 Rivals Five-Star elite event will return to Indianapolis for the first time since 2017, with 104 of the best high school football players converging at the Colts' practice facility to compete. Media Day will be held June 23 with the on-field competition taking place June 24.
The Rivals Five-Star event held in Indianapolis in 2017 featured one of the best groups of high school talent at a single event ever. It was loaded with future NFL stars, including Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Amon-Ra St. Brown, James Cook, Ja'Marr Chase, Penei Sewell and Aidan Hutchinson.
And now we are heading back to Indy.
June's event will spotlight top prospects in the 2026 and 2027 classes. The on-field showcase will feature competitions such as the Fastest Man, Bench Press Challenge, individual one-on-ones, 7-on-7 and linemen competition. The players will be coached at the event by former NFL standouts, including Brandon Jacobs, Marcus Price, Julian Jenkins and Joe Kelly.
Today, more than 500 Rivals Camp Series alums can be found on NFL rosters, including 135 first-round NFL Draft picks. Five of the last nine Heisman Trophy winners attended a Rivals Camp Series event during their high school career.
"NFL rosters are filled with Rivals Camp alums and while I was excited about the first-ever Five-Star many years ago, I'm even more excited now as we continue to build out this franchise as the best experience a top high school football player can have on and off the field," said Adam Gorney, Rivals.com's director of recruiting.
Rivals is the original network media outlet covering college football recruiting and has been doing so for nearly 25 years. The Rivals Camp Series began with the first Five-Star event held in Atlanta back in 2012 and it also features regional events held throughout the country during the spring.

The Patriots dominated the 2010s, playing in five Super Bowls and winning three. But since 2020, New England has had just one winning season. Advertisement The Patriots fired Jerod Mayo and brought in their former player Vrabel as the new head coach this season to try to bring back the grit, intensity, and discipline New England displayed during Bill Belichick's 24-year tenure. The first step for Vrabel, building leaders and relationships in his locker room. "Sometimes people need a little different encouraging and sometimes you need a little bit firmer hand and maybe a little bit more firmer stance," Vrabel said. "I think that's all important in understanding and getting to know each person before you can start to lead them." Fox Sports Taking Heat for Its Terry Bradshaw Decision
Saturday marked the final race in one of sports' most time-honored traditions: the Triple Crown of horse racing. Fans flocked to New York and tuned in on FOX to see Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty defeat Preakness winner Journalism once again to take two of the three crown jewel races. Fans enjoyed the on-track action, but they were dismayed by FOX's decision to include an analyst from a completely different sport. Advertisement Former NFL quarterback and longtime NFL on FOX analyst Terry Bradshaw handled some of the pre-race festivities, and the Hall of Famer struggled through some of the presentation. He named Saturday's race as the "137th" Belmont Stakes, when it was actually the 157th running of the race. "I appreciate someone other than NBC having coverage of a big horse race, but Fox really needs to work on production. The crowd mic is potted astronomically high, and Terry Bradshaw has no place on the broadcast," said one sports journalist on social media. "Imagine being a horse racing expert and you get your moment on TV on one of the very few days your sport gets to shine and you're ready to show your wisdom and spread love of your sport to the masses and then you're placed on equal footing to Terry Bradshaw," another person said. Advertisement The tradition of adding crossover properties to horse racing is nothing new. NBC went all-out in 2025 for the Kentucky Derby, inviting and speaking with several celebrities and names from its several networks, shows and movies on traditional television. "NBC Sports needs the entire Triple Crown. Fox Sports is bad. Terry Bradshaw bad," another horse racing fan said. FOX may not be the preferred home of horse racing for the average fan, but in order to get the full Triple Crown experience, they'll need to deal with the network for at least a few more years. FOX and the New York Racing Association have negotiated a rights deal that makes the network the exclusive home of the race and all associated events on the grounds through at least 2030. Houston Texans sign former Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb
HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Texans have signed former Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb, the team announced on Monday. Chubb made four Pro Bowls in seven seasons with Cleveland, but was limited by injuries the past two years. He suffered a left knee injury in Week 2 at Pittsburgh in 2023 and remained sidelined until Week 7 in 2024. He then played in eight games before breaking his foot and finished with 332 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Advertisement Chubb could join a backfield that features Joe Mixon. The two-time Pro Bowler had 1,016 yards in his first year with Houston after seven seasons in Cincinnati. The Texas won the AFC South at 10-7 before losing at Kansas City in the divisional round of the playoffs. The 29-year-old Chubb has run for 6,843 yards since the Browns selected him in the second round in the 2018 NFL draft. He is third on the team's career list behind Hall of Famers Jim Brown (12,312) and Leroy Kelly (7,274). Chubb rushed for 1,525 yards and 12 TDs in 2022.
