The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has decared the NEET PG Result 2025 on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Candidates who appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for post graduate courses can check and download their results on the official website of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. Notably, the NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3, 2025. The exam was held in a single shift from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. T
There were 200 Multiple Choice Questions, each consisting of 4 response options/distractors in English language only.
Candidates needed to select the correct/best/most appropriate response/answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question.
There was also negative marking in the exam, meaning 25% negative marking for incorrect answers.
However, no marks are deducted for unattempted questions.
The total duration of the exam was 3 hrs 30 minutes.

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the result of NEET PG 2025. Along with this, the board has also released the list of toppers. Dr. Pooshan Mohapatra has secured the number-1 rank in NEET PG. He completed his MBBS degree from SCB Medical and Hospital, Cuttack in 2024. He has scored 707 out of 800 marks in the NEET PG exam. Dr. Pooshan's family is overjoyed after he topped the NEET PG exam. He revealed that he was at home when the result was announced and asked his sister to check it, reported News18 Hindi. During this time, his mother was with him. Pooshan mentioned that his mother saw the result first, marking the most special moment of his life. As soon as she saw the result, his sister joyfully held his hand. Dr. Greeshma has secured the All India second rank in the NEET PG 2025 exam. Dr. Greeshma has scored 705 marks in this exam. NBEMS will release the NEET PG score card on August 29 which can be downloaded from the official website for six months. Once a practicing doctor working long hospital shifts, she stepped away from a stable medical profession to attempt one of the most challenging examinations in the country—the UPSC Civil Services Exam . Her journey demonstrates that with consistent effort and determination, it is possible to transform even the most ambitious goals into year, lakhs of aspirants prepare tirelessly for the UPSC examination, but only a select few achieve success. While many candidates spend years making repeated attempts, Anjali's case stands out because she had already built a secure identity as a doctor before choosing to pursue governance. She initially cleared the NEET examination, went on to complete her MBBS, and later, in her second attempt at UPSC, earned an All India Rank of 79. This achievement eventually led her to join the Indian Administrative Service Anjali Garg was born on September 14, 1996, in Chandigarh, into a family engaged in business. With no immediate exposure to civil services, she had to chart her own way into the world of governance. Her academic record reflected brilliance from the beginning. In school, she achieved a flawless 10 CGPA in Class 10 and scored 96 percent in Class 12 with the medical stream. Driven by her interest in science and healthcare, she cleared the competitive NEET examination and gained admission to VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, regarded as one of the country's premier medical her years in medical college, Anjali became aware of the stark gaps in healthcare delivery across the country. She realized that while treating patients individually was rewarding, the scale of systemic change required strong policy interventions. This thought planted the idea of preparing for UPSC. Despite her family's financial struggles, she continued her education with resilience. She began her early schooling at the PVTG girls' education complex in Nandiniguda under the SC & ST Development she studied at SSD Girls' High School, Chitrakonda, completing her matriculation in 2019. She passed her Class 12 Science in 2021 from SSD Higher Secondary School, difficulties forced her to discontinue her BSc studies.
