Benchmark Gensuite Named Industry Pacesetter for AI Integration in EHS Software by Verdantix
CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug 14, 2025-- Benchmark Gensuite®, a leading provider of cloud-based Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), Sustainability, Quality, and Operational Risk management solution software, has been recognized by independent research firm Verdantix as the pacesetter for AI integration in the EHS software market. In its Product Benchmark: Benchmark Gensuite Sets the Pace for AI Integration Into EHS Software, Verdantix spotlighted Benchmark Gensuite for its patented, natively embedded, and market-first innovations. It also cited Benchmark Gensuite's top score relative to other market platforms for AI development and resources, from its 2025 EHS Software Green Quadrant report. The AI Innovation Gap In an industry where many vendors still offer none to limited, fragmented or static AI capabilities, Benchmark Gensuite stands apart. Its unified, versionless Genny AI software integrates proven AI tools directly into subscriber workflows—meaning no expensive add-ons, no lengthy implementation schedules, and no waiting for innovation. This positions customers to leap ahead on the AI adoption curve while avoiding the inefficiencies and high costs associated with legacy or siloed systems. 'With Genny AI, our customers aren't waiting for the promise of AI; they're realizing its value right now—thousands of times a day,' said R. Mukund, CEO of Benchmark Gensuite. 'This recognition by Verdantix validates the vision we set five years ago—AI should be everywhere, every day, driving real outcomes for EHS and Sustainability practitioners.' The ROI of Genny AI Benchmark Gensuite subscribers are already realizing measurable efficiency gains. Genny AI averages time savings of five minutes per task (with some tasks saving significantly more time) — across the thousands of Genny AI interactions just a few months after launch in 2025 to all subscribers, the cumulative savings add up to an incredible 3,637 hours back to our subscriber organizations. That's returned value of over $300,000 in enterprise resource costs, with impact now scaling up from deployment across the global community of more than four million users. These outcomes underscore the platform's ability to translate AI from a conceptual promise into a daily productivity driver—from the frontline to the C-Suite. Community-Driven Innovation Benchmark Gensuite's AI program is built around transparency, governance, and trust. Subscribers are engaged through its Idea Exchange Forum, annual regional user conferences, and subscriber innovation groups—directly countering the opaque marketing and vague ROI claims often seen in the market. Controlled rollouts, feature toggles, and clear explanations for AI-generated output ensure transparency and foster user trust. Proven & Deployed Framework for Scalable AI In its assessment using a proprietary AI maturity framework, Verdantix identified several key contributing factors behind Benchmark Gensuite's early mover advantage… About Benchmark Gensuite Benchmark Gensuite® delivers AI-forward, best-in-class digital EHS, Sustainability, Quality, and Risk solutions for global enterprises. Blood oxygen measurement returns to the Apple Watch, sort of
Apple has just announced a software update that will enable the missing blood oxygen level measurement capability on the Apple Watch. The update will enable the biosensing feature on the Watch Series 9, Series 10, and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, once users update their iPhone and smartwatch to the latest build. What does it mean for users? In order to use the blood oxygen feature again on the Apple Watch Series 9, 10, and the Ultra 2, users will have to update their smartwatch to watchOS 11.6.1. The update is now rolling out to users in the United States. In addition to it, the feature will only work when users also update their iPhone to iOS 18.6.1, which has also been released simultaneously. Recommended Videos There's a crucial difference this time around. Instead of seeing the blood oxygen measurement on the Apple Watch screen, users will now have to open the Health app on their iPhone. That's because Apple is now doing the computation on the iPhone, instead of accomplishing it on the wearable and showing the results natively on the Apple Watch due to the patent dispute over alleged theft of the underlying pulse oximetry tech. 'Sensor data from the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch will be measured and calculated on the paired iPhone, and results can be viewed in the Respiratory section of the Health app,' instructs Apple. For all other Apple Watch models not affected by the patent dispute, they will continue to measure and show the measurements in the Blood Oxygen app on the smartwatch's screen. Why the hassle? So far, Apple Watch users have been able to track their blood oxygen saturation levels on their Apple Watch and see the readings on their wrists. But owing to a patent dispute with a company named Masimo and an import ban on models that offer this feature, the Cupertino-based company had to pull this capability after lengthy legal battles and an import ban handed down by the International Trade Commission The ban came into effect back in December of 2023, and despite a brief respite, Apple had to disable the blood oxygen features on the watches it sold following the trade restriction in the US. Apple has expressed disagreement with the charges leveled against it by Masimo, after the company filed two seprate lawsuits against the Apple Watch maker. Interestingly, Apple began working on a software-based workaround soon after the ITC ruling. It appears that the company was ready with an alternative route, but it's surprising that Apple took over a year and a half to enable it.

Gabriel Holding A/S upwardly adjusts its expectations for the financial year 2024/25 for the continuing operations
The quarterly report for Q3 will be published as planned on August 28, 2025. It will show that the continuing operations after 9 months have achieved a revenue of DKK 390.1 million, corresponding to a growth of 7%. The primary result (EBIT) was DKK 31.7 million compared to DKK 11.9 million in the same period last year. The Group's global furniture manufacturing activities, FurnMaster, remain up for sale and are reported as discontinued operations. These have generated a negative pre-tax result of DKK 4.2 million in the first 9 months of the year. As the realized results for the first 10 months of the company's financial year for continuing operations have exceeded expectations, the forecast for the financial year is upwardly adjusted. Thus, after 10 months of 2024/25, the continuing operations has achieved revenue of DKK 433.1 million, corresponding to a growth of 8%. The primary result (EBIT) was DKK 35.7 million compared to DKK 13.1 million in the same period last year. Previously, management expected revenue for the financial year 2024/25 (for continuing operations) in the range of DKK 495–520 million and a primary result (EBIT) of DKK 25–35 million compared to DKK 19.7 million in 2023/24. After ten months, revenue for the financial year 2024/25 is expected to be in the range of DKK 510–520 million and a primary result (EBIT) of DKK 35–40 million (DKK 19.7 million in 2023/24). Management expects that the challenging market conditions affecting the furniture industry will continue due to ongoing geopolitical risks and uncertain expectations regarding tariffs, inflation, currency conditions, and interest rate developments. However, the continuing business has continued to achieve growth in revenue and results, and management expects this trend to continue. The expectations still remain subject to a degree of uncertainty due to the aforementioned market risks.
