Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget
By Clemmie Feildsend, Fabulous Fashion Editor
AS someone who's no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it's about time that celebrities started catching on too.
For as long as I've been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those 'I have nothing to wear' moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect.
And I'm definitely not alone - on any Friday or Saturday night, you'll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time.
But no matter what, Primark always delivers.
Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores.
While Rita's not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she's proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less.
Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham - if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards.
With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I'm sure more stars will be following suit soon enough.
And the Hello Kitty range isn't the only Primark buy that shoppers have been raving about.
Fashion friends are rushing to buy the fast-fashion store's £90 dupes of a pair of £900 Manolo shoes.

The fast fashion retailer's Floral Open Toe Heels are dead ringers for Manolo Blahnik's creations.
And the best bit? They only cost £20 a pair, meaning a saving of at least £880 than buying the luxury inspiration.
The new shoes come in two hues of red and blush, and are adorned with soft, fabric flowers over the toe strap.
A blurb on the blush kicks reads: 'These pink open-toe heels are a true statement piece, with vibrant floral embellishments adorning the front for a bold and eye-catching touch.

'The satin finish adds a luxurious sheen, while the ankle strap and platform sole provide both style and support.
'Perfect for adding a pop of colour to evening wear or elevating a special occasion outfit.'

We previously told how AEG submitted proposals for a site in the Edinburgh Park area back in November 2023. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 2 The opening date of the new Edinburgh venue has been announced Credit: Getty The firm behind London's iconic O2 Arena is now set to begin work on the venue early in 2026 after confirming funding has been secured. The venue, which will span a 200,000 sq ft site in the Edinburgh Park area, is due to open in March 2028, reports The Herald. And tickets for the first show are expected to go on sale by 2027 according to the £80million project's timeline. It will form part of the Capital's new "urban quarter" being developed in the Edinburgh Park region on the outskirts of the city. The firm has earmarked an area north of the Edinburgh Park tram stop and train station. Branded the Edinburgh Park Arena for the moment, event bosses are hoping to rename the building when a headline corporate sponsor is agreed. It has been predicted to bring in more than £520million for the city's economy year on year. AEG says they have had 'strong interest' in the naming rights for the arena, which is set to become 'one of the UK's most iconic venues" attracting huge names to Edinburgh. The project was approved by Edinburgh city council last year, is expected to attract around 700,000 visitors a year, and create 1300 new jobs once open. Until now, the largest indoor venues in the capital included the 3000-capacity Corn Exchange, while the Usher Hall can fit around 2900 if seats are removed. Travis frontman Fran Healy reveals how festival favourite was almost 'never written' The Royal Highland Centre can also accommodate around 9000 in their largest space, the Highland Hall. Alistair Wood, executive vice-president of real estate and development at AEG Europe, said: 'Securing planning permission last year allowed us to move ahead with our plans, from progressing design work to entering discussions with contractors and sub-contractors. 'We have funding in place, and now we're in the procurement phase. Once we have a final design, suppliers and contractors we'll break ground. We hope to begin construction early in 2026. 'We're excited to start the build process as soon as possible so that we can bring world-class acts to Edinburgh. "We're hoping that the new arena will open its doors during the first quarter of 2028, with fans able to purchase tickets to the first shows during 2027."

'Insecure Tinder date walked out after seeing how tall I am – it was so awkward'
A long-legged woman who makes big money online for height admits that it can often be hard for her to date - and one man walked out of their date after seeing how tall she is A model has opened up about the awkward moment that her Tinder date "shook his head and left" after realising how tall she is - and why the awful experience made her avoid dating for two years. When it comes to dating, we all have our preferences, whether it's hair colour, personality traits, humour and more. And while many people love tall men, one woman, Marie Temara, admits that her long legs have not always worked in her favour. The influencer, who boasts 2.6million Instagram followers, is well known for her 6ft 3in height, with fans frequently worshipping her long legs. However, it seems when it comes to dating, Marie struggles. The influencer has shared how a particular moment with a man shorter than herself ended up affecting her confidence for a long time afterwards. Marie shared: "We'd been chatting online for a while. The conversation flowed and we seemed to have a genuine connection. But when we finally met up for our first date, he was not happy that I was so much taller than him." She explained that his height is around 5ft 9in. She added: "He looked at me, shook his head and told me he had a family emergency – then left." Marie was gutted as the pair had the whole night planned, including a dinner and a movie. "It ended the moment he saw me," Marie added. READ MORE: 'My boyfriend is 28 years my senior – people say I have daddy issues but it's true love' Despite being so confident for long about her height - and making millions every year because of it – the experience hit Marie hard. She admits the rejection brought back insecurities from her teenage years when she was bullied for being tall. Marie said: "It made me feel really insecure again. My height has always been my number one insecurity. After that, I stopped dating for two or three years. "I just couldn't be bothered wasting my time on someone who'd disappear the second they saw how tall I was." While breaking away from going on dates, Marie poured all her energy into building her brand instead and over time. She has had a lot of support from her online fans, plus after getting frequent messages from men who love how tall she is, she saw her confidence return. The model now proudly puts her height front and centre in her dating app bios. And she even admits that she has a soft spot for "short kings". She said: "I've dated guys who were 5ft 8in, 5ft 9in – I don't care about height. But it's still a problem for some of them. I've had to do all the reaching, all the lifting – sometimes I feel like the man in the relationship." Dating is not the only part of everyday life that can be tricky for a tall woman. Marie often takes the back seat on water slides because she is heavier than her date and always has to book aisle seats on planes just to fit her legs. Shopping is a struggle, too; she can't find jeans that fit and gets custom-made clothes for her lengthy frame. She said she gets stared at everywhere she goes, and people often ask to take pictures with her. She added: "Some guys want a photo, others look like they're sizing me up for a fight. But I've learned to own who I am. If someone can't handle my height, it's their loss."

Meghan shares video of family trip to Disneyland for Lili's fourth birthday
The post on Instagram showed the family enjoying rides at the California attraction, drawing comparisons with Harry's childhood trip to Florida's Walt Disney World with Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1993. The montage also features a clip of Archie, six, and Lili meeting Disney princess Elsa, from the film Frozen. A post shared by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (@meghan) Meghan wears a Minnie Mouse hat in some of the snaps featured in the video, while another image shows a two-tier Little Mermaid-themed birthday cake for Lili. The duchess captioned the video: 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!' The footage was reminiscent of photos taken of the duke when he was eight and his mother Diana took him and William to Walt Disney World. At the time, the royal siblings were photographed sitting at the front of a log on the Splash Mountain ride, with adults from their mother's entourage behind them and Diana seated at the back. Meghan's post follows a number of family shots over recent days to mark Lili's birthday. In one, she posted a throwback video of herself twerking in a bid to bring on labour while pregnant with the princess, while another post featured a black and white snap of herself cuddling Lili. In another post, she described how Lili's relationship with Harry was 'the sweetest bond to watch unfold'. She shared two photos of the princess with her father the duke, adding: 'Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!' Lili – the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's youngest child – was born on June 4 2021 and was named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Lilibet is named after her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
