Netflix has released episodes 5-8 of Love Is Blind UK season 2 today, with the contestants preparing to leave the romantic beaches of Cyprus and return to reality.

The second stage of the Netflix dating show also sees the newly-engaged couples break the news that they are getting married in just a few weeks to their friends and families.

While plenty of drama unfolds over the course of the four episodes, viewers can already expect tears just minutes into episode 5.
It comes after Dumfries nanny and makeup artist Katisha and Kent local health coach Javen admit they haven't said 'I love you' yet when hosts Matt and Emma Willis interview the couples before they return to the UK.
In the episode before, viewers saw a tense confrontation between Katisha and Wigan contestant Kal, who questioned her decision to choose Javen as her fiance despite growing very close to another contestant, Demola.
In episode 5, before the couples go on to try living together for the first time, Surrey cabin crew manager Ashleigh pulls Katisha aside to discuss how she's feeling about the situation.
She asks Katisha about her conversation with Kal and whether Demola is still playing her mind.

Katisha replies: 'He's obviously trying to gauge where I'm at and 'Am I playing both of them?' or whatever it is, but at the end of the day, he's not been in the pods with me.
'I feel like with Demola, yes of course we had a connection and we wouldn't have got as far as we did if we didn't,' she continues.
'And then I was like, it's not fair for me to say yes to someone that I'm not 100% sure about.

'I felt very at peace with Javen, I felt like he was going at a speed I was comfortable with.'
'My whole life has been…' she begins, before breaking down in tears.
'Sorry,' she sobs as Ashleigh hugs her and says: 'Don't cry! Don't worry.'

Wiping her eyes, Katisha adds: 'I don't want to feel bad about Demola because it wasn't him; he didn't do anything wrong. It's more how I feel and how I need to feel I can be myself.

'I just need to feel calm because everything in my life is so chaotic,' she explains.
When Ashleigh asks if Katisha is really ready to marry Javen, she insists that she is before asking: 'Do you have doubts about us? Why do you ask?'
'(The reason) I ask is the fact that you are marrying this man for the rest of your life,' Ashleigh points out gently.

Katisha then reflects: 'I just feel like we're gonna be fine. I did not take the decision lightly; I truly didn't. I don't want to be a villain. I came in for myself; I came in for me.'
'You are no villain babe,' Ashleigh reassures her, as the sun sets on their Cyprus holiday.
Will Katisha and Javen be able to go the distance? Keep watching to find out.
Love Is Blind UK season 2 episodes 1-8 are available to watch on Netflix now.

Unique Netflix series you will want to binge watch more than once this weekend

Bojack Horseman fans have their new favourite show Netflix's latest and unique 10-part series is the perfect show to binge watch more than once this bank holiday weekend. ‌ Long Story Short releases on the major streaming platform from today (August 22). All episodes will be available to watch and its highly likely that most users will binge watch the whole thing more than once before Monday. ‌ It comes from the creator of Bojack Horseman Raphael Bob-Waksberg and this new series is an automatic must watch for fans of that show. There's a chance it could even challenge for one of the best shows available on Netflix. ‌ Its cast includes familiar voices including Paul Reiser, known for roles in Stranger Things and Curb Your Enthusiasm, Superstore and Mad Men actor Ben Feldman, Abbi Jacobson and New Girl's Max Greenfield. There's also guest appearances from Ben Schwartz, Dave Franco and Zach Braff. According to the show's synopsis, Long Story Short is an animated comedy about one family, over time. Jumping through the years, we follow the Schwooper siblings (gift an amalgamated surname from their parents Schwartz and Cooper) from childhood to adulthood and back again, chronicling their triumphs, disappointments, joys, and compromises. However, we also follow their partners, extended family and even their own children. That is what makes the series unique. The show's overall plot, of what there is, is not told chronologically. ‌ Instead, viewers will follow different generations during some of the biggest and most key times of their lives. This includes childhoods in the 1990s, teenage years in the 2000s, struggling through and dealing with growing older throughout along with those moments that you don't realise are significant until you look back. There might be a concern that this would be confusing. However, Long Story Short impressively doesn't need long to find its groove. ‌ It also doesn't feel hamstrung by its unique selling point. It would be easy to be lost in the jumps in time but each episode is crafted so carefully It's easy to see why the show has already been greenlit for a second season and it feels like there's plenty of tales, stories and deviations the show could tell across its multiple generations. While Bob-Waksberg has moved away from the humanoid animals and commentary on fame and Hollywood, the heart and emotive punch found and celebrated in Bojack Horseman is still present here. There are no experimental episodes like in later seasons but there's time and plenty of potential. ‌ Viewers should be warned that they will definitely shed a tear as much as they will laugh. The series focuses on the ups and downs of a Jewish family in the United States. It also explores difficulties with parents, relationships, grief, parenting, work life balance and all of life's struggles. There was more than once I had to dry my eyes during the end credits. Long Story Short could easily run for years. It's also one of the easiest binge watches of the year. Not only that but it's one of very few shows I find myself starting to watch all over again from the beginning to find moments I may have missed and see how each episode fits together in the season as a whole. Bring on season two.

Gangs of London's Lucian Msamati teases new Netflix show Hostage with Suranne Jones

Reach Screen Time spoke exclusively to Lucian Msamati about working with Suranne Jones One of the leading actors from Netflix 's new adrenaline-fuelled political thriller Hostage, has given us a sneak peek behind the scenes, following lead actress Suranne Jones' unexpected revelation, reports the Manchester Evening News. ‌ In an exclusive chinwag with Reach Screen Time, Lucian Msamati, known for his roles in Gangs of London and Game of Thrones, spilled the beans about the twist-filled series and his experience working alongside the Gentleman Jack star. ‌ Msamati, 49, shared: "I think there was great spark. Suranne and I just got on like a house on fire and we sort of became work husband and wife, which is really at the centre of both of their jobs. ‌ "They're both hard-headed, they're both very good at what they do and they both care." He hinted: "I think the scenes, without giving too much away, there are later scenes to come which were tough in good way. But that's the juice that we're after." ‌ Hostage is a five-part Netflix series and marks Coronation Street and Vigil actress Jones' first venture with the streaming behemoth. The star collaborated closely with creator and Oscar-nominated writer Matt Charman, who penned the script for Hollywood film Bridge of Spies, on the story. She also wore the hat of a producer on the TV series. Msamati portrays prime ministerial aide Kofi Adomako, who is tasked with advising Jones' British premier Abigail Dalton after her husband is kidnapped and her resignation is demanded as the ransom for his release. ‌ The distinguished British-Tanzanian actor revealed he was attracted to the project by Charman, and disclosed how the playwright rang him about the role which was penned specifically with the star in mind. ‌ Looking back on his preparation for the character of Adomako, the actor explained: "I think I've had the benefit of playing lots of conciliatory types, lots of right-hand, king of the hand type characters. This is watching people who are immediately behind the throne. "There were some really interesting books, the calculation that has to happen. A person whose job it is to anticipate, the person whose job it is to go, 'What are the possible outcomes here? Can I get ahead of this?' Just being, you know, ultimately loyal, ultimately responsible." ‌ He continued: "And he sort of, for myself, this guys's been there, he's done that, several governments, he knows his stuff. We don't know his political allegiance but we know he's first duty is to the office of the prime minister." Msamati is currently occupied with numerous other ventures and according to IMDb, he will be featuring in the mini-series Run Away. The star also revealed: "There are a few interesting theatrical projects bubbling and brewing and there may or may not be another well-known television series that may or may not be coming out later this year that I may or may not be a part of. You'll just have to wait and see." The interview coincides with Sky's confirmation of a fourth season for Gangs of London. However, considering the recent plot developments, it seems improbable that Msamati will make a comeback.
