Noah Cyrus has just released a new song featuring indie-folk group Fleet Foxes. It's called 'Don't Put It All On Me,' and you can stream the new track now below.
'Don't Put It All On Me' is a lush piano-led ballad about bearing the responsibilities of others and learning how to slowly relieve oneself from these burdens. 'By the look in your eye I can tell you no longer need me,' the pair sings. 'the feeling is freeing.'
The single was written by her brother, Braison. 'I have always been the observer in our family, and Braison wrote about how I tend to carry the weight of that on my shoulders,' she said in a statement.
Along with the release, Cyrus has teased more new music to come, noting that she wants her work to provide solace to her fans. 'We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this new collection of songs was made with that in mind,' she stated. 'I want to evoke that feeling of a comforting friend that a song can be — and allow us all to heal.'
Cyrus released her debut album The Hardest Part in 2022. Most recently, she was a featured artist on two fellow country artists tracks: Orville Peck's 'How Far Will We Take It?' and Shaboozey's 'My Fault,' the latter which she cowrote. Coldplay's Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson call it quits after nearly 8 years
If Coldplay 's rendition of 'Fix You' sounded especially mournful during the band's recent concerts at Stanford Stadium, it may be because frontman Chris Martin has officially parted ways with actress Dakota Johnson. In what appears to be a definitive end to one of Hollywood's more quietly enduring romances, the 48-year-old Coldplay singer and the 35-year-old 'Fifty Shades of Grey' star have split after nearly eight years of an on-and-off relationship, according to People. Martin and Johnson, who began dating in 2017, were last seen together in mid-May in Malibu, where they had shared a home since 2021. Despite that recent outing, sources told People the breakup 'feels final this time.' Representatives for the pair have not commented. The couple largely kept their relationship private, though it was occasionally illuminated by moments of public affection — most memorably in 2021, when Martin gave Johnson an onstage shoutout during a London concert. 'This is about my universe, and she's here,' he said, gesturing to Johnson before launching into Coldplay's BTS collaboration, 'My Universe.' Johnson, who partially grew up in San Francisco, previously shared that the couple enjoyed being homebodies. 'We've been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it's nice to be at home and be cozy and private,' Johnson told Elle UK in 2021. 'Most of the partying takes place inside my house.' She also spoke warmly about Martin's two children, 21-year-old daughter Apple and 19-year-old son Moses, with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. In March, sources confirmed to People that the couple had been secretly engaged for years. Yet despite their long-running commitment, the relationship has now ended, just as Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour continues to fill stadiums worldwide and Johnson prepares for the release of her upcoming film, 'Materialists,' on June 13.

Opeth Unveil Rare Performance Video for Song '§1': Watch
The post Opeth Unveil Rare Performance Video for Song '§1': Watch appeared first on Consequence. Opeth have stepped in front of the lens for a rare official performance music video for their song '§1.' The clip was produced and directed by Ash Pears and arrives amidst the band's ongoing European tour (get tickets here). Featuring clean up-close shots of the Swedish vets running through the lengthy track — the first to feature death growls from Mikael Åkerfeldt in 16 years — the video should give concertgoers a visceral look at the band in full flight. Regarding the decision to film a live-style clip for '§1,' Åkerfeldt offered up a press statement revealing the band was inundated with requests to produce a more generic lyric video or visualizers for the song, but opted for the 'old-fashioned' way of simply rocking out for the cameras. Said Åkerfeldt: 'So here's a video (of sorts) for your 'enjoyment.' We had requests left, right & centre to do one of them measly 'lyric videos' or 'visualizers' for 'content.' Now, right there are three words I despise! I've made it clear in our circle of trust that we shouldn't use the word 'content' even if that's exactly what we're working on. We're not some goddamn influencers, now are we? So can we please settle on the old-fashioned word 'video' without meddling with modern online lingo? And a video is what it really is. A performance video, no less. We figured it's a bit more happening to look at (should you decide to do so) than a lyric video. '§1' is the opener on The Last Will and Testament. A good song. I like it! The video looks good. As good as it can look when involving 5 middle-aged, slightly hungover geezers miming along to something. We shot it in some industrial area in Birmingham (UK) on the latest Euro tour. Everyone (well, the band and crew) were quite eager to get out of there as we had dinner planned at a fancy curry house locally. Much thanks to Ash Pears and ASH TV, who were really professional (ie: quick!) and made the whole experience rather easy on us. Hope you dig it, people!' As he mentioned, '§1' hails from Opeth's latest album The Last Will and Testament, one of our top metal albums of 2024. You can stream the video for the track below. McDonald's goes behind the scenes to hype fan-favorite Snack Wrap return
This story was originally published on Marketing Dive. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Marketing Dive newsletter. McDonald's is hyping up the July 10 return of the fan-favorite Snack Wrap to menus with a multichannel campaign, per details shared with Marketing Dive. The fast-food giant will release a TV commercial that spotlights consumers' social postings about the menu item, which was phased out nationally in 2016. The campaign also includes social posts, out-of-home ads and a Snapchat activation. To further build excitement, the brand launched a throwback web portal that features never-before-seen and behind-the-scenes content about the Snack Wrap and its return. Chicago-headquartered McDonald's announced the return of the Snack Wrap with a brief press release reminiscent of fellow Chicago icon Michael Jordan's famous fax about his return to basketball. In 1995, Jordan wrote 'I'm back;' in 2025, President of McDonald's USA Joe Erlinger wrote about the menu item, 'It's back.' The playful, culture-minded approach appears to inform the rest of the marketing around the Snack Wrap. A microsite resembles an old-school desktop screen, complete with Snack Wrap wallpaper and several folders, including 'The Fandom' (fan emails begging for the return of the item) and BTS (behind-the-scene images from a TV ad shoot). Additional folders (Promo Codes, Playlist, Merch Concepts, et cetera) are still under wraps. The campaign includes a fan-focused TV commercial that will roll out on July 10 and social posts and high-impact OOH placements boasting the return date. In addition, a Snapchat activation includes a first-to-market Reminder Ad that lets app users opt-in to receive both in-app and push notifications timed to the return of the Snack Wrap. Plus, an augmented reality experience will turn Snaps into branded news broadcasts about the return. The social media-heavy play connects with consumers where they have been requesting the return of the Snack Wrap. Other restaurant chains including Taco Bell and Chipotle have acknowledged and encouraged fan interaction on social media when returning items to menus. The Snack Wrap will return to participating restaurants nationwide as a permanent item in both spicy and ranch varieties. McDonald's longtime AOR Wieden+Kennedy New York spearheaded the effort, with creative by Golin, Agency 123, Alma, Boden, IW Group and Translation; digital marketing by Publicis Groupe; paid media by Admerasia, Publicis Groupe and Navigation Blvd; and support by additional agencies. McDonald's saw U.S. same-store sales drop 3.6% in Q1 2025 but has worked to overcome macroeconomic headwinds through culturally minded campaigns and a balance of value offerings and loyalty deals. The Snack Wrap campaign's multichannel approach resembles that of McDonald's efforts from recent years, including its celebration of Grimace's birthday and recent tie-ups with Minecraft and Pokémon. The chain has previously marketed limited-edition fan favorites like the McRib.
