This bronze eye pencil is the perfect holiday make-up

Times12-07-2025
Bronze is the colour of summer for me. Maybe a little bit of gold in the evening, but bronze is subtler, more flattering, unless you're very dark, and a great deal easier to wear in the daytime. And here comes a really excellent bronze eye pencil.
Now, regular readers will know that I am devoted to the Victoria Beckham Satin Kajal eye pencils, which I consider best in class by quite a long way. They are unimprovable. However, they are also £32 each, meaning that if you don't already have a bronzey one of those (my favourite is Cinnamon), you won't necessarily feel like coughing up for a new one. This is where Hildun Beauty's collaboration with the make-up artist Hannah Martin comes in. The Silk to Set Kajal Liner in Spiced Pecan costs £16 (hildunbeauty.co.uk) and is really lovely.

Rare 50p coin sells for 330 times its face value after huge bidding war – exact details to spot

A RARE 50p coin has sold online for a huge £165 - more than 300 times its face value. The Blue Peter Olympic 50p piece sold on eBay after sparking a fierce bidding war, with 24 bids placed. 1 The winner got it for £165, meaning they paid 330 times what it's worth. Just under 20,000 of the coins, minted to mark the 2012 London Olympics, were issued in 2011. Dated 2009, the design was the first of 29 officially licensed London 2012 Olympic coins to be unveiled by The Royal Mint. The coin features someone doing the high jump on one side, a design created by eight-year-old Florence Jackson from Bristol. The final design was chosen from over 17,000 entries as part of a Blue Peter competition. The other side of the coin features the late Queen Elizabeth II. You might even be able to get more than £180 for the coin too. The piece has previously gone for as much as £262 on eBay after a similarly feisty bidding war. And according to the Britannia Coin Company website, it's worth up to £265.

Katie Price continues to spark concern as she shows off her very slim legs in new video

KATIE Price has continued to spark concern, as she showed off her very slim legs in her latest video. Fans have recently become worried about the former glamour model's shrinking frame in her social media posts. 5 5 Over the last few months Katie, 47, has appeared slimmer than ever. In her latest video, the mum-of-five can be seen modelling her latest outfit. The paisley playsuit she was wearing looked baggy on her small frame, and her legs looked tiny. Writing next to the video, she said: "Rainy Sundays at home 🤎🤎 outfit," Fans were quick to comment on the video, with one saying: "You look beautiful but your legs are so tiny." While another added: "Omg your legs babe you need to put on weight." WEIGHTY ISSUE Katie recently hit back at fans who have said she is "too skinny" by filming herself being filmed. The mum-of-five, believed to be 5ft 4in tall, showed her weight as 7st 12lb. Katie Price admits she's facing being made homeless as she can't find a guarantor for new rented property days before moving Attempted to put fears to rest, Katie said in the recent video : "Everyone is so obsessed with my weight. This is what I weigh. That. That is what I weigh." However, with the combined weight of her 2120cc breast implants removed - which are thought to weigh around 4.87lb each - her implant-free body is closer to 7st 2lb. That puts her BMI at 17.2 which is below the healthy range and in the underweight category (18.5 and under). It also sees Katie dangerously close to being classed as moderately underweight, a sub-category defined by the World Health Organization as a BMI below 17. 5 The podcaster previously tried to shut down fears over her weight loss, saying she decided to slim down after a long-standing foot injury and attempts at IVF made her put on weight. Speaking on her Snapchat in May, Katie said: "Yes I've lost weight. "Yes that what I've wanted to do, I've wanted to lose weight. "Because the past three, four years ago when I broke my feet and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months because they said I'd never walk again, and obviously you put weight on being in a wheelchair. "And then I did all the IVF stuff, that also puts on weight. "So yeah I did put on weight and I hated it, I felt uncomfortable and it wasn't me." Some fans have asked Katie whether she has taken popular weight loss jabs to shed the pounds. However the star, who has been open in the past about procedures she's gone through, has strongly denied it.
