Range Rover
has unveiled its new flagship, the
Range Rover Sport SV Carbon
, a lightweight, carbon fibre-clad SUV that completes the brand's top-tier Sport SV line-up. According to the company, the model will make its global debut at Monterey Car Week on August 13.
'
SV Carbon
is an assertive interpretation of our luxury performance SUV,' said Ryan Miller, product and services marketing director at Range Rover. 'It's the ultimate expression of lightweight performance and completes our new SV line-up.'
The new model comes with 635PS 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild hybrid engine, and can reach a top speed of 180 mph. It also comes with 6D Dynamics suspension and Body and Soul Seat (BASS) sensory audio.
The company said this model, with its focus on weight reduction, comes with optional 23-inch carbon fibre wheels and carbon ceramic brakes, which has resulted in shaving off up to 76 kg, enhancing ride quality, handling, and acceleration.
The
SV Carbon
follows recent launches like the SV Edition ONE, Edition TWO, and the SV Black, catering to buyers seeking personalisation and performance.

With the new Carbon edition, the Sport SV gets new cosmetic touches and features while shedding some weight to enhance performance. The Sport SV Carbon comes with a curated selection of four exclusive colour options as well as one option from the SV Premium Palette. It is offered with the Forged Carbon Exterior Pack as standard, bringing stealthy carbon fibre detailing all around the car, including on the front grille, bumper, and the Active Quad Exhausts. Interested buyers can have the Twill Carbon finish with a distinctive diagonal weave pattern and an exposed carbon fibre hood. The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon rides on 23-inch forged alloy wheels complemented by Anodised Black brake calipers as standard. If these are not light enough, buyers can choose to spec out their SUV with the optional, ultra‑lightweight 23‑inch Carbon Fibre Wheels, which contribute to 76 kg of total weight savings. The Sport SV Carbon can also be kitted out with lightweight Carbon Ceramic Brakes for those looking for the best braking performance. These feature exclusive eight-piston SV calipers, which are offered in blue, yellow, carbon bronze and black options. Range Rover Sport SV Carbon: Interior design The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon features exclusive carbon fibre detailing that extends to the dashboard and seatbacks The carbon fibre detailing extends to the Sport SV Carbon's interior, with forged carbon detailing seen on the seatbacks as well as the dashboard. Once again, buyers are given the option for a Twill Carbon finish on the interior. The Carbon edition is further offered in four interior upholstery options, including perforated Windsor Leather seats in Ebony, Rosewood/Ebony, Light Cloud/Ebony or, for those seeking a leather‑free option, Cinder Grey/Ebony seats made from a perforated Ultrafabrics material. Land Rover has unveiled the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Edition following the introduction of the Black Edition of the SUV. The SUV will make its world premiere on August 13 at the Range Rover House during Monterey Car Week. As per the brand, this is the lightweight performance version of the SUV and comes with changes over the standard version of the SUV that help it live up to its name. The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon edition comes with exclusive four colour options. However, the consumers have the option of buying the SUV in the colours SV Premium Palette. Diving into the details, the SUV gets a forged carbon exterior pack, which includes carbon fibre detailing. This includes exhaust tips and bonnet, adding to the car's sporty nature. The SUV also gets 23-inch forged alloy wheels, but consumers have the option of 23-inch carbon fibre wheels. Behind the carbon fibre wheels are carbon ceramic brakes, which effectively reduce the weight of the SUV by 76 kg compared to the Range Rover Sport P530. To make things better, there are various colour options for brake callipers, including blue, yellow, carbon bronze, and black. The consumers have the option of four interior themes, including Windsor Leather with Ebony, Rosewood/Ebony, or Light Cloud/Ebony, as well as Cinder Grey/Ebony seats with Ultrafabrics (eco-friendly material). To go with the exterior theme, the dashboard and seatbacks also get carbon fibre with either forged carbon or twill carbon finish. Powering the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine, which kicks out 626 hp of power and 800 Nm of peak torque. Using this power, the SUV can achieve a top speed of 290 kmph.
