Justin Bieber shared a cryptic post on social media.
On Tuesday, June 3, the pop star shared an Instagram post blasting "the audacity" of "telling other humans they deserve something."
"Telling other humans they deserve something is like raising someone else's kids," the post, which appeared on a purple backdrop, began. "Who are you to tell someone what someone should or shouldn't have."
Added Justin, 31: The audacity. That's not your place. G-d decides what we deserve."
While it was unclear what the "Sorry" hitmaker was referring to, some users appeared concerned by his post.
A few commenters came to Justin's defense, wishing him "continued growth" and encouraging people to give him "a break." Others noted they were "proud" of him.
One user encouraged Justin to take a "social media break," while another worried that he was "crashing out again."
Others responded to the "Stay" artist in lukewarm fashion, telling him to "grow up" and saying that his apparent lack of celebration for Hailey Bieber over her Vogue cover is "hypocritical" and that his wife — whom he married in 2018 before celebrating with a star-studded wedding in 2019 and shares son Jack Blues — "deserves better."
Justin's post comes days after Hailey, 28, announced that her beauty brand, rhode, was acquired by e.l.f. cosmetics for $1 billion.
At the time, he screenshotted her announcement and added it to a carousel. However, he didn't comment on it.
Before celebrating his wife's first-ever Vogue cover last month, Justin shared images from the shoot with a caption revealing he once told Hailey she would "never be on the cover of Vogue."
"Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight," he wrote on May 20. "I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue. Yikes I know, so mean."
At the end of the post, he apologized Hailey saying, "So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken."
Later, Justin deleted the caption and added a series of emojis: "🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹."
In the Vogue story, the "Yummy" musician praised his wife, saying, 'I've done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I've ever done was marry Hailey.'
Justin also addressed the online criticism she has faced. 'She's in the spotlight, and has the attention because of her effortless knack for style, business, art and fashion," he said, adding that "she makes being a mom and wife look easy.'
Justin's latest social media post also comes amid growing concerns over his mental health following several vulnerable social media posts from the singer.
Recent Instagrams have included messages about his "anger issues", having "nothing to prove," feeling "unworthy," and a cryptic post about letting "go of hate by first acknowledging it's there."
A source close to the Biebers told PEOPLE in April that 'Hailey is not on the verge of wanting a divorce or leaving him. It's just completely untrue,'
They added: 'If anything she's sad about how hard everyone is being on him now that he finally is coming back out of his shell.'
However, a second source close to Justin painted a different picture of their lives.
'She's been in tears about his behavior lately,' the source revealed. 'Things have gotten bad quickly. She's genuinely scared something bad is going to happen to Justin."
They further noted that Hailey is "very loyal to him" and is "not walking away."

Of course, you might look back at those final moments before it all began and reflect on the person you were, and the threshold you were about to cross. I'm broadly ambivalent towards the Royals, and I've always found the reaction to Meghan and Harry from certain corners of the British media establishment strange. What, exactly, is the issue? Royalty is the ultimate gilded cage - yes, they're born into immense wealth and privilege, but they're also hounded wherever they go, expected to suppress all traces of individuality, and toe a line that was drawn centuries ago. In that context, it makes perfect sense to me that someone might want to break free, to reclaim a sense of personal agency, to live a life shaped by choice rather than obligation. That's not to say that I'm a Sussex stan and I haven't always been a fan of their 'post-Megxit' output - I found them a little remote and unrelatable in their Netflix documentary, for instance. But then, why wouldn't I? Their reality is unique, their problems impossibly rarefied so of course they're remote and unrelatable. This video, though, has a kind of joyful universality. A heavily pregnant woman dancing in a hospital room, trying to coax her baby into the world - it's intimate, silly and deeply human. It's worth considering too that we live in a society that often seeks to downplay the dangers of giving birth, portraying it as a 'natural' and 'everyday' experience - a role mothers are 'meant' to fulfil, and therefore not deemed worthy of fanfare. This narrative glosses over the brutal truth that childbirth can be traumatic, even life-threatening, and its aftermath can stay with you long after the balloons have deflated and well wishers have gone home. Torn muscles, nerve damage, fractured tailbones, pelvic floor injuries - these are not outliers, they are part of the spectrum of 'normal' birth. I don't say this to scare anyone, but as a reminder that childbirth isn't just the act of bringing life into the world, it's about being pushed to the very edge of human endurance. Motherhood is so often obscured by pastel cliches and Instagram-filtered sentimentality but behind the babygrows and milestone cards is something far more radical. It's surviving the kind of physical trauma you might expect from a high-speed collision and then walking out of the hospital 12 hours later, with a baby. It's wild and brutal and completely magnificent. And so I guess when I saw this video, that's what I thought of - a woman looking back at the moments before she crossed the rubicon and became something else entirely. When I was pregnant I developed an obsession with BirthTok - it's a whole seam of content devoted to birth stories, from first contraction to the euphoric moment where mother and child finally come face to face. Gruesome, gripping, more compelling than a Marvel film - we so rarely hear about positive birth experiences because they're not necessarily newsworthy but I guess that's what I was looking for, in all those hours of scrolling, a sign that it would all be okay. Seeing Meghan and Harry enjoying themselves in that hospital room, seeing Meghan posting about it as a joyous moment all these years later - it would have soothed my anxious soul in those months leading up to my own birth.
