Rams' win probability for every game on the 2025 schedule
The 2025 regular season begins in less than four months, which means it won't be too long before players are on the field for training camp practices and shortly thereafter, preseason games. The Los Angeles Rams open the year with two AFC South opponents in the first two weeks, hosting the Houston Texans at home and then visiting No. 1 pick Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans in Week 2.
There are certainly some difficult games on the schedule but all things considered, the Rams have a great chance to win the division and get back to the playoffs in 2025. Not only are they favored to win 13 of their 17 games by oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook, but ESPN's Mike Clay gives them better than a 50% chance to win 14 of their games.
The only three games that they don't have a win probability of better than 50% are against the Eagles, Ravens and Lions – unquestionably the three best teams on their schedule. Clay projects the Rams to win 9.6 games based on his projections, which is the ninth-highest win total in the NFL.
Here's a look at the Rams' win probability for each game, which ranges from 29% (at Baltimore) to 80% (vs. Saints).

Rams WR Davante Adams could move up these all-time NFL lists
Los Angeles Rams receiver Davante Adams heads into his 12th NFL season as one of the best players at his position. He's caught 957 receptions for 11,844 yards and 103 touchdowns in 164 career games. Adams will undoubtable add to those totals in L.A. with Matthew Stafford as his quarterback, even with Puka Nacua alongside him. Sean McVay loves his receivers and Adams might be the best one he's ever coached. It would certainly explain the coach's aggressive pursuit of Adams this offseason. Heading into the 2025 season, Adams ranks 20th in receptions, 33rd in receiving yards and 10th in receiving touchdowns. If he reaches his season-long averages, Adams will move up in all three categories. How far, though, remains up to him and the Rams. Adams needs just 14 receptions to move into 19th place ahead of Brandon Marshall. That seems like a lock unless Adams gets injured very early in the season. Adams also needs just 43 to break 1,000 career receptions, which only 15 other receivers have done. If Adams reaches his 89-catch average, though, he could rise to as high as No. 12 — Andre Johnson. And if Adams sets a career-high mark of at least 123 receptions (which he last did in 2020), he could push to as high as No. 8 ahead of Terrell Owens' 1078 receptions. Three active players who could shake up where Adams lands at the end of the season in career receptions: Keenan Allen (No. 18, 974), DeAndre Hopkins (No. 16, 984) and Travis Kelce (No. 14, 1004). All three are ahead of Adams and only Allen isn't on a roster at the moment. Adams can make a big leap in the all-time receiving yards record book. His 11,844 yards rank No. 33 in NFL history, and if he breaks his 1,077-yard seasonal average for his career, Adams would move up to No. 22. However, he'd once again be contending with Hopkins, who sits at No. 21 at 12,965. The other two active players on the list (Kelce at No. 28 and Mike Evans at No. 24) are less than 1,000 yards ahead of him, but would need very poor seasons to drop. The final major stat Adams could move up on the all-time list is receiving touchdowns. His 103 ranks No. 10 in league history, but there isn't a lot of room for improvement on that spot in 2025. Evans sits two touchdowns ahead of Adams at No. 9 with 105, while Tony Gonzalez's 111 career scores is No. 8. Adams averages nine touchdowns per season, meaning the highest he could climb is No. 8 if he can outpace Evans by at least two touchdowns. Adams would need 13 scores to move to No. 7, ahead of Antonio Games. He's only done that once in his career (2020 with the Packers). There is a lot of opportunity for Adams to eat in his Rams offense. And while the ultimate goal is a Super Bowl, moving up some record books is a nice consolation prize for the legendary pass-catcher.

Cowboys ‘Worst Signing Imaginable' Adds to 90-Man Roster
Cowboys 'Worst Signing Imaginable' Adds to 90-Man Roster originally appeared on Athlon Sports. FRISCO - This week, sources confirmed to us that cornerback Robert Rochell has agreed to terms with the Dallas Cowboys on a free-agent contract. Advertisement This is by definition a 'camp body' move as he joins the Cowboys after the team suffered a litany of injuries at the position last season. This year, they may continue to face difficulties in that regard. Trevon Diggs is rehabbing another knee surgery with a hopeful return aimed at mid-season. Third-round pick Shavon Revel Jr. is recovering from an ACL tear, but he should be back on the field during training camp. Dallas has enough faith here that it didn't chase Jaire Alexander (who signed with the Ravens) and that it hasn't bid on Miami trade bait Jalen Ramsey. Maybe that's a mistake … though our pals at The Landry Hat might be being a bit harsh when they label this move 'the worst signing imaginable.' Advertisement That hyperbolic view is of course driven by fans' desire for Dallas to make big-name moves. But some moves are big. And some moves fill the bottom of 90-man rosters. Rochell, by the way, may have his best shot at making the Cowboys roster as a special teams ace. The former fourth-round pick in 2021 has seen limited action on defense throughout his four-year career. He started with the Los Angeles Rams where he saw five cornerback starts as a rookie but totaled just 14 tackles on the season. The next three years he has seen action strictly on special teams. Last year in particular, he played just one snap on defense for the Packers. He appeared in 41 percent of Green Bay's special-teams snaps in 2024. Advertisement Rochell will have to make a major impact in that area to make the team, we bet. Is this the Cowboys' best move? Of course not. Is it their worst move? Nah. It's just a move. 2025 Projection Has Scary Outlook For Commanders' Jayden Daniels
2025 Projection Has Scary Outlook For Commanders' Jayden Daniels originally appeared on Athlon Sports. We have spoken at length all offseason about the Washington Commanders' offensive line and its ability to protect Jayden Daniels. Advertisement Coming off a superb rookie season, the only blight on Daniels was the 47 sacks he took, which was the sixth-most in the league. Given Jayden's slender build, that is just asking for the injury bug to come and sink its teeth into him. But this offseason, general manager Adam Peters traded for five-time Pro Bowler Laremy Tunsil to help fortify Daniels' protection. The thought being that keeping Jayden upright will lead to the Commanders' offense running like a well-oiled machine en route to what the franchise hopes is a Super Bowl win. However, not everyone is convinced that the front five will protect Jayden, and one of those is ESPN's Mike Clay. Advertisement In his 2025 projections, Clay has Daniels being sacked 43 times, just four shy of last season - that's nightmare fuel, my friends. Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith Jr. (3) sacks Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (5).© Eric Hartline-Imagn Images So based on Clay's projections, the addition of Tunsil and the shift to right tackle for Brandon Coleman do little to stop Daniels from being tackled into the turf regularly. Granted, Clay also projects Daniels to have 146 rushing attempts for 810 yards and seven touchdowns, which is nearly identical to his numbers from 2024. Still, those sack projections scare us as we don't have to look too far back at Andrew Luck to see the pile-on effect of taking hits regularly. Yes, we know it is a projection, and Daniels' sack numbers could plummet in Year 2, and in truth, if the Commanders are to get to where they want to go in 2025, they will have to.
