Trisha Paytas auditions for iconic Disney character but fans obsessed with outfit detail

The singer says she was inspired after watching videos of a small production Trisha Paytas has revealed her audition for a Disney stage production, but her choice of attire has left fans distracted. ‌ The singer and YouTuber shared her latest video on TikTok, where she confessed to having watched numerous clips of a stage show suggested by her 'For You' page. ‌ The show in question is the Hunchback of Notre Dame, currently being performed at West Valley Arts in Utah, USA. Running until 30 August, the venue's website states that the show draws inspiration from both Victor Hugo's original novel and the Disney animated film. ‌ It appears that sneak peeks of the show have sparked Trisha's interest, as she confesses her desire to star in the show herself. She also expressed her wish to travel and see the production in person. Speaking directly to the camera in the clip, she says: "My entire FYP is this theatre in Utah, West valley it's called. Shout out Beatriz (Melo), she plays Esmerelda. She captivated I started being like clicking her profile and seeing all the songs she's ever sang.", reports OK!. "Then I started seeing the guy who plays the Hunchback and I think I would be a really good Hunchback for future productions so here's my audition." However, she went on to admit: "I don't know Hunchback that well. I never liked it as a kid because I probably saw myself too much in Quasimodo and I suppose that was a bad thing back then but now I see myself as a Quasimodo and it's a great thing, I think it's a slay so we're embracing it." She then starts belting out one of the show's numbers, though confesses she doesn't know the words properly so performs it karaoke-style. ‌ The clip attracted hundreds of responses from her followers. Numerous fans applauded her for spotlighting smaller creators and intimate productions. This sparked a response from the theatre's official account, who wrote: "Trisha, we are honoured that you love our theatre's content! Follow us for more, and come see Hunchback playing through August 30!" One follower responded: "Trisha could NEVER be Quasimodo she's too stunning." Yet many were sidetracked by Trisha's wardrobe choice in the clip. Whilst some complimented her vibrant pink locks, numerous viewers couldn't help but spot she was sporting a top featuring My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way. The text above reads Michael Romance. One follower responded: "Need the shirt link." Another declared: "Trish I love you and your shirt is sooooo swag." Others remarked how they'd snapped up tickets for the band's recently revealed tour dates.

Rivals stars Danny Dyer and Emily Atack to reunite for new game show

The ITV series Nobody's Fool is described as 'a unique reality event packed full of drama and deception', which will feature 10 contestants from across the UK who are selected to stay in a 'smart house'. Contestants must compete in challenges to convince others that they are more intelligent than they may actually be. A post shared by ITV (@itv) They will also take part in daily individual quizzes that will test different areas of intelligence in order to build a group prize pot of up to £100,000. However, only the contestants themselves will know how well they have done, and it will be up to them to decide what information they choose to share with their competitors. Across the series, the players must determine who is the weakest among them and eliminate them in a bid to keep the genuine assets and weed out those who are faking it in a bid to stay in the game. The show aims to 'exploit preconceived notions about intelligence, playing on stereotypes and snap judgments to create a cast of characters who will keep viewers guessing', according to ITV. Dyer, who previously starred with Atack in the Disney+ adaptation of the Jilly Cooper novel Rivals, said: 'This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. 'Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end.' Atack said: 'It's so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. 'The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can't wait for everyone to watch, it's an absolute must-see.' Nobody's Fool will air on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player next year.
