In one of the most delightfully unexpected mashups of the season, AriZona Iced Tea and luxury eyewear designer Thierry Lasry have dropped a sunglasses collab that somehow fuses neon nostalgia, Parisian polish, and Y2K shield energy—with a $99 price tag that makes them even sweeter than a Mucho Mango on a hot day.
Launching with a three-day pop-up in SoHo, the AriZona x Thierry Lasry collection is a playful collision of iconic Americana and fashion-world edge. The bold wraparound shades come in nine matte, futuristic colorways, each nodding to AriZona's most beloved cans—think green tea mint, raspberry red, and that unmistakable cherry blossom pink. And yes, they're crafted in Italy.
But this isn't just eyewear. It's an event.
The immersive pop-up at 216 Lafayette Street transformed into a two-level playground of cool: downstairs, shoppers got first dibs on the limited-edition sunnies and exclusive merch; upstairs, a secret speakeasy introduced AriZona's newest ventures—Cold Brew Coffee and AriZona Hard (yes, it's vodka-spiked iced tea). The Cold Brew flowed freely, while guests 21+ sipped the spiked stuff behind velvet ropes.
Fans—many of them AriZona die-hards lovingly referred to as 'Zonies'—lined up for blocks. Some trekked in from Philly, others from as far as Boston. But the real star of the weekend? Don Vultaggio himself. The AriZona founder made a surprise appearance, greeting fans and handing out giant plush pillows shaped like the brand's legendary 99¢ cans. It was giving…cult icon energy.
As for the eyewear? It's a chic departure for Lasry, known for his handcrafted acetate designs and sleek silhouettes worn by the fashion set. 'We wanted to create something that still felt like us—playful, bold, and fashion-forward—but also made room for a wider audience,' he says. 'This was about reaching new people without losing the DNA.'
Wesley Vultaggio, AriZona's Chief Creative Officer (and son of Don), had been wearing Thierry Lasry's frames for years and brought the idea of a collab directly to the designer. 'It just felt like a natural fit,' he says. 'We're both obsessed with detail, color, and doing things our own way. This was about making something iconic—and having fun while doing it.'
And iconic it is. At $99, it's also shockingly accessible for a Thierry Lasry drop. But don't expect them to stay in stock for long. The collection is now available online, and at select stores including Dover Street Market in New York and LA.

Kylie Jenner Channels Beyoncé In An Archival Summer Dress
Kylie Jenner in Greece wearing the archival piece / Image: Taking a page from Beyoncé's book is never a bad idea, especially in the style department. Just ask Kylie Jenner. The Khy founder has been long enjoying her Euro summer, seen jet-setting around Italy, France, and now Greece. This week, she took to Instagram to share snaps from the trip and show off her Y2K summer style. Among the images were shots of Jenner in a bright yellow vintage Chanel bikini, an animal print set from her upcoming Khy x Frankies Bikinis collab, and a shimmering Dior two piece. All standout pieces, sure to find their way onto many a vacation mood-board. Kylie Jenner in Greece wearing the archival piece / Image: Amid the enviable swimsuits, Jenner also showed off an archival dress from Emanuel Ungaro's Spring 2003 collection. The white body-con number featured ruching, as well as ruffles down the front and along the skirts hem, creating an airy summer feel. The piece originally debuted on the Paris Fashion Week runway in 2002, and not long after was donned by Beyoncé for her Dangerously In Love promotions. See the images here. While Beyoncé styled the dress with strappy silver heels, Jenner opted for a more contemporary look with heeled thong sandals from Manolo Blahnik and a black clutch. Jenner's version of the dress also seems to have undergone alterations, most notably the plunging neckline of the original dress having been closed up, and the ruffles being toned down. Tyla Channels Beyoncé In A Throwback Vintage Cavalli Minidress

(Photo by Christopher Polk/Billboard via Getty Images) As the host and recipient of the 'Favourite Global Music Star' award at this year's Kids' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, singer Tyla served multiple memorable fashion moments. The South African pop star's standout sartorial moment of the fun-filled night, however, came in the form of a 2006 Spring RTW Roberto Cavalli minidress. Straight off a Y2K mood board, the ombre orange and yellow number featured layers of ruffled fabric in a cascading high-low effect. The sweetheart bust was adorned with a gold appliqué bow, the ends of which worked their way down the skirt. At just 23 years of age, the singer is almost as old as the dress she wore. (Photo byfor Nickelodeon) Looking every bit the 2000s pop star, the singer accessorised with a Ruslan Baginskiy burnt orange newsboy hat, chunky jewellery, and gold pumps. These details, along with her square French tips, left nothing lacking in noughties aesthetics. In fact, the look, curated by Law Roach, well-known as Zendaya's stylist, also involved a bit of fashion history beyond its archival origins. Not long after its runway debut, the strapless Cavalli dress was worn by fellow singer Beyoncé, paired with simple gold pumps. This was almost twenty years before Tyla's rendition of the look, likely older than most attendees and viewers of the award show. Beyonce Knowles is seen on August 29, 2006 in New York City. (Photo by BG034/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images) Roach also coordinated the singer's other looks for the show, including her red-carpet crop top and high-low printed skirt, as well as her denim micro shorts and printed tee look later in the night—all Y2K approved. The stylist first worked with Tyla at the 2025 Met Gala in May, where she wore a white and black striped Jacquemus gown with a dramatic coat and train to boot. Fans of fashion history will also be relieved to hear that it was in fact the shorts and tee outfit, and not the Cavalli, in which the pop star was slimed (a staple feature of the award show), as were other attendees such as Katseye, Jack Black, and MGK.
