Pixel 8 gets a hefty discount, and I'd definitely choose it over the Pixel 10 at this price
$129 off (18%)
A third-party merchant on Amazon is selling the Pixel 8 with 128GB of storage for $129 off its price, letting you get one for just under $570. The phone still delivers speedy performance and I think it's worth getting at this price. So, don't hesitate—save while you can! Buy at Amazon
$184 off (26%)
If you want to save more, feel free to go for the Pixel 8 in Rose, which is selling for $184 off its price on Amazon. This means you can snag one for just under $516. Buy at Amazon
Now, I know that Google is expected to announce its latest Pixel 10 lineup today; however, I also believe that the Pixel 8 is a strong offer at its current price on Amazon and still brings a lot to the table, even as an older model. Not to mention, the Pixel 9s aren't heavily discounted right now, and you likely won't be able to save big on Google's upcoming phones without a trade-in or a hefty data plan. So, going for this Pixel 8 deal looks like a smart choice for me, especially if you don't need all the firepower the newer models offer. Rocking a Tensor G3 chipset and 8GB of RAM, it can still tackle most tasks with ease, while its 6.2-inch OLED screen with a 2400 x 1080 resolution and HDR support lets you enjoy YouTube videos in high quality. And being a Pixel phone, it takes stunning photos with its 50MP main camera and 10.5MP front-facing snapper for selfies, complemented by Google's famous image-processing magic.
Now add a 4,575mAh battery that has enough juice to last you the whole day without top-ups, and you get a phone that's well worth its price. So, if you think it fits the bill for you, don't wait around—save with this deal now!

A rumored new Huawei Pura X foldable grows in size – and you'll be able to enjoy media even more
Remember the Huawei Pura X? It's allegedly growing in size, per latest rumors. It's not clear if it's going to be called Huawei Pura X2, but that doesn't really matter right now, does it?As preliminary information has it, the next Huawei Pura will be wider than the original. There isn't a premiere date set as well, but tipsters from the Far East expect it until the end of 2025. That's a bit odd, given that the original Pura X was released in April the leaks point at a larger, 8-inch foldable display. That's much bigger than the original Pura X's 6.3-inch screen. The new 8-inch display would be (almost) stepping in tablet territory, but 8 inches is what many book style foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the newly released Pixel 10 Pro Fold leak also suggests that the foldable will carry forward the compact footprint of the Pura X, while making minor adjustments to its external PhoneArena readers know that the original super fancy foldable got us pretty excited a few months ago: Why? Well, it's because of its form factor. Image by PhoneArena Huawei's Pura X might not win awards for its name, but the concept behind it is one of the smartest in the foldable space. Unlike many flip-style foldables that stretch into an awkwardly narrow 22:9 aspect ratio, the Pura X unfolds into a much more practical 16:10 slab. That makes it far more natural to use and, more importantly, perfect for watching videos. The wider canvas means fewer black bars and a much larger, more immersive viewing experience. This design brings another major benefit: better battery life. One of the biggest drawbacks of traditional flip foldables has been their cramped dimensions, which limit battery capacity. The Pura X solves this by adopting a wider form factor, giving it enough room to fit a significantly larger cell. With a 4,700 mAh battery, it offers nearly 20% more capacity than Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is limited to just 4,000 mAh. The new Galaxy Z Flip 7 upped that to 4,300 mAh, but the original Pura X is still a bit ahead. Huawei has also gone a step further with the camera setup. While Samsung has released seven generations of Flip phones without ever adding a telephoto lens, the Pura X manages to include a triple-camera system with a 3.5x telephoto sensor. So, the next Huawei Pura has definitely got my attention now! Let's hope for a global release this time. Good news everyone! Xiaomi just released a $200 phone with a 7,000 mAh battery and it's somehow thinner than iPhone 16 Pro Max
It's not often that you hear an audible gasp in the PhoneArena office, but that is exactly the reaction when we heard about the brand new Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro. The phone was just released in China and it's a $200 phone with an insane 7,000 mAh battery. And you would think, it would be a chunky, thick phone, right? But it's not. At just 7.8mm, it's thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, both measuring around 8.2mm. At 210 grams, it also weighs quite a bit less than the Pro Max or Ultra phones of today, and all while sporting a 6.83-inch screen, just as large as those pricier competitors. Despite the massive battery size, the phone is remarkably thin at just 7.8mm The interesting part is that Xiaomi does not specify whether it's even using the new silicon-carbon battery technology, or if this is a traditional battery. But whatever the case, it is really impressive how Xiaomi can fit a 7,000 mAh battery in a slimmer and lighter body than the Galaxy S25 Ultra , which only has a 5,000 mAh battery. This is a massive 40% difference in battery size! Interestingly, the charging speed of the Redmi Note 15 Pro is 45 watts, slower than the 90W speeds supported by the higher-end Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus model (released a bit earlier). Of course, there are always a few worried people in the comments mentioning that Xiaomi phones typically also charge faster and how that might be a danger. There is no evidence to suggest that, despite years of super-fast Xiaomi phones being on the market. In the past few years, Xiaomi has developed its own battery management chip, the Xiaomi Surge G1, which monitors and manages charging speed, temperature, health, and power output. This chip allows for optimized overnight charging and limiting the heat generated by fast charging, and consequently this helps slow down battery aging in the long term. In simple terms, this battery technology is safe and tested in time. Everything else about the Redmi Note 15 Pro is quite ordinary, this is a fine-looking budget handset. Here is a quick breakdown of the specs, in case you are interested: 6.8 OLED screen, 120Hz, 1280p 3,200 nits peak brightness MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra 50 MP main camera (Sony LYT-600) 8 MP ultra-wide 2 MP macro camera 20 MP front-facing cam Starting from 8/256GB IP69K water and dust protection 7,000 mAh battery 45W charging The phone is only available in China right now, but it's still hard to shake off this unsettling feeling that we are missing out on some insane battery life with our current flagships. Here is to hoping we get those battery sizes sooner rather than later. Good news everyone! Over the past year we've been working on an exciting passion project of ours and we're thrilled to announce it will be ready to release in just a few short months.
