Coweta County daycare worker caught on camera slamming 3-year-old onto cot
The alleged assault happened March 21 at Big Blue Marble Academy on Summerlin Blvd in Newnan. Days later, deputies charged Samantha Hertzog, 33, with cruelty to children in the first degree.

In a short surveillance clip, you can see a teacher, identified as Hertzog, walk to the back of the classroom.
At one point, deputies say the teacher kicked a 3-year-old's cot before she picked up the toddler and 'forcefully slam' them back onto the cot. The sheriff's office report did not say what injuries the child had.
Deputies went to Hertzog's apartment on March 26. Body camera video shows deputies escorting Hertzog to one of their patrol cars.
The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that it is investigating the daycare and sent the following statement:
'A child care worker was arrested following allegations of physically assaulting a child during naptime. The worker has been charged with first-degree cruelty to children. Parents and guardians seeking childcare resources can visit www.qualityrated.org for information on quality-rated childcare options. Alternatively, assistance is available by calling 1-877-ALL GA KIDS.

Two children are suffering from gunshot wounds after a road rage incident that started in Atlanta and ended in East Point. What a tosser. A North Carolina family was shocked when footage from their home security system captured what's being dubbed one of the worst Amazon delivery performances in recent memory. He then lingers briefly at the porch, scanning a smaller package in his hand before walking away —seemingly unfazed by the mess he just made. The commotion startled the family, who were home at the time and heard a loud bang outside. Yet, this isn't the worst-behaved Amazon delivery driver the world has seen. A mischievous employee was axed earlier this year after she was caught on home surveillance video relieving herself on two front porches while dropping off packages in Los Angeles. The gross stunt took place in the city's Woodland Hills area, with the unnamed driver caught literally with her pants down, according to KTLA-TV News. 'We're deeply disturbed by the unacceptable behavior of this delivery driver and apologize to the customers involved,' Amazon officials said in a statement to the outlet. 'We immediately identified the driver and they are no longer delivering on behalf of Amazon.' Matthew Perry, 29, ordered a Bluetooth device for his car and a workout bench from Amazon, which cost $15 in total. In the video, the delivery driver puts the package down and walks around the corner. But 30 seconds later, he returns to retrieve the items before running down the garden path. Perry was at work while his package was delivered and said he was shocked that someone would jeopardize their job for a $15 package.
