When asked how Shah Rukh Khan was in school, Rahul Dev revealed that the actor was brilliant at everything. 'He was always a star. I mean it. He was brilliant at academics. He was in every school sports team – football, cricket, and hockey. He was also fantastic in gymnastics and a great sprinter. I can just say, blessed,' he said.

Rahul added, 'Frankly, our school produced some incredible talent. A top leading man in the movie business was not just it. Many of my schoolmates are at high positions in their walks of life.'
Shah Rukh Khan wasn't just known for excelling in sports and academics—he was also a prominent member of the school's dramatics team. 'Whenever there would be a play or school function, he would play the main part in every skit. Maybe he was always an actor. But honestly, he could have been anybody – a scientist, an athelete, anyone, he was good at everything.'
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rahul Dev was last seen in the Tamil film Good Bad Ugly, with Ajith Kumar. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand's King, which will also mark his daughter Suhana Khan's theatrical debut. The movie is set to hit the theatres in 2026.
