Ferne McCann's acid attacker ex Arthur Collins is 'dumped by Love Island star Amelia Peters after eight month romance'
Collins, 32 is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty of carrying out a nightclub acid attack in 2017, leaving 16 people with serious injuries.
It was reported last month that Collins was being regularly visited by Amelia at HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale
But according to The Sun, Amelia has called it quits with the convict after reports of their romance surfaced and family urged her to break up with him.
A friend of Amelia told the publication: 'Some members of her family only found out about her romance after reading about it in the Sun and urged her to dump him especially after seeing the pictures of him injecting himself with steroids from behind bars.'
The source went on to say that friends and family are concerned Amelia will reunite with Collins and told her he is 'bad news'.
They added: 'They've told Amelia he's "bad news" and she shouldn't put her life on hold for him.'
Reporting last month that the pair had allegedly struck up a romance, a source told The Sun: 'Amelia has made no secret of her relationship with Arthur and has told her friends she's mad about him and thinks he's the one.
'She says she thinks Arthur is a changed man. Some of her mates are worried about her getting involved with him but Amelia won't listen.'
Collins is said to have a phone in prison that he uses to talk to Amelia 'all the time'.
It is illegal to possess a phone in prison. If found guilty, the maximum penalty is a further two years imprisonment and/or a fine.
In 2018, Collins was jailed for another eight months for using a smuggled mobile phone to call his reality TV star ex-girlfriend Ferne from his cell.
Amelia, 26, hinted at romance last month on Arthur's birthday when she posted a picture of a bouquet of red roses with the letter 'A' above.
She wrote on the Instagram snap: 'Happy birthday to the most handsome pain in the a**e, Love you x.'
A separate source told The Sun that Amelia and Collins are simply 'family friends'.
MailOnline has contacted HMP Buckley Hall and Amelia for comment.
Former teaching assistant Amelia appeared on season three of Love Island - which was ultimately won by Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies.
She entered the show as a Casa Amor bombshell but failed to couple up and was dumped from the island after just two days.
At the time, she was the youngest star to have ever appeared on the show, entering the villa aged 18.
In 2022, it was revealed Collins had found love with an Essex mum and former Page 3 girl while in prison and the pair were engaged to marry.
Businesswoman Annie Jane, who presented an adult show on Babestation for 11 years, confirmed the couple's engagement on Instagram, telling friends and family 'I said yes' while sharing a tattoo of Collins's name she has inked on her stomach.
A source close to Annie told MailOnline: 'Arthur and Annie met prior to his prison sentencing through mutual friends.
'They plan on getting married while he's still behind bars later this year after dating for the past six months.
'Annie is aware of Arthur's past but is prepared to commit herself to him, even getting a tattoo of his name to prove her love.
'They have a lot in common; Annie also has a young daughter, and believes the pair connect on a spiritual level.
'They fell in love after writing to each other and talking through prison visits and Annie believes Arthur is truly sorry for everything that happened.
'Annie has done a lot for Arthur's rehabilitation, she feels they're soul mates, and together they are looking forward to the future and one day having a family life of their own.'

Accused shouted ‘trick or treat' before throwing petrol bomb in bar, court hears
A man facing attempted murder charges after an arson attack on a busy bar in Armagh allegedly shouted 'trick or treat' before throwing a lit petrol bomb directly at two people inside, a court has heard. John Patrick Nixon (38) appeared before a district judge in Newry, Co Down, on Wednesday accused of two counts of attempted murder in relation to the incident in Armagh city on Monday evening. Advertisement Nixon, who spoke briefly to confirm his name, date of birth and that he understood the charges, is also charged with several other offences alleged to have been committed on the same day, including criminal damage to property and a vehicle elsewhere in Armagh earlier that evening. No defence application for bail was made at the remand hearing in Newry Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and Nixon, who is from Irish Street in Armagh, was remanded into custody to appear before a judge again next month. Nixon appeared at Newry Courthouse on Wednesday (PA) During the hearing, a detective constable told the court that the Toby Jug bar on Irish Street had a significant number of people inside, including children, when the attack unfolded shortly before 9pm. Customers were watching a football match on TV and traditional music was also being played when the incident occurred, the court heard. Advertisement 'Police attended and spoke with victims and witnesses who stated that a male entered the pub, shouted 'trick or treat' and then threw a lit petrol bomb directly towards two people in the bar,' the officer said. Two men, one aged in his 30s and one in his 60s, were taken to hospital with burn injuries described in court as 'significant'. The detective constable told the court that CCTV from outside the bar showed a man taking something from a plastic bag, walking across the road, then lighting a rag protruding from a bottle. He said the CCTV showed a flash and orange flames and glow of fire coming through the doorway of the pub shortly after the man walked inside. 'As a number of children and an adult came running out of the bar, he brandishes this item, which appears to be a large knife.' District judge Eamonn King was told that Nixon was arrested later that evening at an address on Chapel Lane in Armagh. The court heard that a petrol bomb and a plastic bag containing a knife were located at the same property. The detective constable said officers had also obtained CCTV footage from a local filling station at around 7.50pm that evening that allegedly shows the accused filling up a plastic bottle with £2.03 worth of petrol. Advertisement As well as two counts of attempted murder, Nixon is also charged with arson with intent to endanger life; possession of a knife in a public place; and three counts of criminal damage. The criminal damage charges relate to incidents on the Keady Road in Armagh in the early evening of Monday. At around 5.30pm, police received a report that a brick had been thrown through the window of a home on the road and the window of a car had been smashed at the same property. A short time later, another 999 call was made reporting that a brick had been thrown through the kitchen window of another property nearby. Advertisement CCTV from the area showed a bald man wearing dark clothing walking up the drive of one of the properties at the time. The detective constable told the court that a local resident had identified the male in the CCTV as Nixon. The officer said detectives had established that the description of the male who had caused the damage to the windows matched that of the male who had thrown the petrol bomb. The court was also told that Nixon made no reply to questions asked by detectives while in police custody. He will appear before Armagh Magistrates' Court on September 2nd via video-link.

New proposed powers to control dangerous dogs in Jersey
Changes could be introduced in Jersey to control dogs which are "considered to be dangerous", according to the island's constables have made draft amendments to the Dogs (Jersey) Law 1961 which, if approved, will mean owners of certain breeds, such as the XL Bully, must register them with the States rules about owning XL Bully dogs were introduced across the UK and, since 1 February 2024, it has been a criminal offence to own one without an exemption constables' proposed amendments would include a requirement to neuter the "dangerous dog" and keep it muzzled in a public place. 'Public safety' Officials said owners would not be allowed to breed, sell or give such dogs proposed scheme would also provide that the owner and any person in control of a dog in a public place must be aged 18 or over, they differs from England and Wales, where a person aged 16 and over may be an States Veterinary Officer (SVO) said it was aware of a number of dogs that could fall within the definition of a dangerous dog, officials said, but there were currently no powers to control ownership or to impose conditions to enhance public safety."The Jersey registration scheme will require the SVO to maintain a register of dangerous dogs and it will be an offence to own a dangerous dog unless it is registered with the SVO," it draft law has not been approved yet, but it is aimed at modernising the rules and giving police powers to deal with dangerous dogs. Chief Vet at the States Susana Ramos previously said improvements were needed to the law so that restrictions could be imposed on imports of dangerous dogs when coming from outside Ramos said the current law was "old and not fit for purpose anymore".She added: "The idea of the new law is to allow us to act."The law will give us a little substance to do better than we currently do."
