Harry Redknapp's £5million mansion 'is hit by a masked gang': Thugs raid home and flee with wife Sandra's jewellery
The former Premier League manager and his wife Sandra, both 78, were out when a gang broke into their home last Friday, The Sun reports.
The hammer-clad gang allegedly took jewellery belonging to Sandra, as well as other luxury items.
A source told The Sun: 'It was clearly organised. The raiders must have known the house was empty.'
It is feared that the thugs may have checked out the layout of the house, which is understood to be for sale, on a property website ad.
The house is located near Dorset beach resort Sandbanks, where properties are among the most expensive in the world per square foot.
The thieves, who were brandishing lump hammers and a sledgehammer to break the front door open, were captured on CCTV scouring through the property.
'They were caught on CCTV cameras breaking in and trying to ransack the property looking for valuables', the source added.
'It was clearly organised and they must have known the house was empty at the time.'
Harry was reportedly attending a function on the night of the break-in, while Sandra was in London.
Cops confirmed yesterday they were still hunting down the thieves.
Daily Mail has approached Harry's representatives and Dorset Police for comment.
The property is currently on sale, while the couple's new seaside villa at Sandbanks is completed.
They moved into their current £7million home in 2021 after a lack of privacy.
The former Tottenham and West Ham manager and his wife splashed out on their new waterside home on the exclusive peninsula and replaced the six bedroom detached house with a luxury three-storey villa built in 'a traditional Italianate architectural style'.
Harry who won I'm A Celebrity in 2018, and his wife, have owned homes on spectacularly expensive Sandbanks or in Poole for over two decades.
They bought one of the finest homes on Sandbanks - a mock Tudor mansion overlooking the entrance to the harbour – for £3m in 2001.
Harry and Sandra are said to have sold the property for £6.9m in 2015 and moved to a brand new £4m mansion five bedroom beachside property just around the corner.
They reportedly left the modern glass-fronted property on Sandbanks because they wanted more privacy after getting fed up with tourists staring at their home.

Trump's administration slams Britain for ‘serious restrictions' on free speech over past year
US PRESIDENT Donald Trump's administration has attacked Britain for 'serious restrictions' on free speech over the past year. It said that 'the human rights situation worsened in the United Kingdom' during 2024. 2 A US State Department report cites attempts to 'chill speech' online in the wake of last summer's Southport attack as well as the recent Online Safety Act that polices content on the internet. The report said: 'Significant human rights issues included credible reports of serious restrictions on freedom of expression, including enforcement of or threat of criminal or civil laws in order to limit expression; and crimes, violence, or threats of violence motivated by antisemitism.' One section also highlights arrests made in the wake of the Southport murders following social media commentary. They included Lucy Connolly, who was jailed after posting that migrant hotels should be burned down. Police at the time also told people not to speculate about the identity of the murderer Axel Rudakubana. The report called the ' two-tier enforcement of these laws following the Southport attacks an especially grievous example of government censorship'. It added: 'Censorship of ordinary Britons was increasingly routine, often targeted at political speech.' Yesterday the UK government said: 'Free speech is vital for democracy around the world, including here in the UK, and we are proud to uphold freedoms whilst keeping our citizens safe.' It came as the National Police Chiefs' Council issued new guidance yesterday encouraging forces to disclose the ethnicity of suspects in high profile cases. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said it would provide 'greater transparency'. Awkward moment Trump blasts 'nasty' Sadiq Khan for 'terrible job'… before Starmer interrupts: 'He's a friend of mine!' 2

Clara Amfo reveals depression battle led to her quitting BBC Radio 1 as she became 'burnt out and in a negative headspace' after eight years on air
Clara Amfo has revealed that depression led to her quitting her BBC Radio 1 show after eight years on air. The presenter, 41, revealed that she struggled with her mental health after becoming 'burnt out' due to the toll of her career. Clara, who spent a decade as a DJ and regularly fronts shows including the BBC's Glastonbury coverage, admitted she was in a 'negative headspace' at the time and needed a 'little reset'. Speaking to Fearne Cotton on the Happy Place podcast, she said: 'I was burnt out, I wasn't taking care of myself properly and I think I was a bit overwhelmed by life's injustices. 'I just wasn't feeling great and I was in a bit of a negative headspace. 'The start of 2023, I was in the flipping trenches. I was feeling really, really depressed sort of mid-2023 and I took some time off radio, and just had to have a little reset. That is when I decided I was going to leave my show.' Clara, first joined Radio 1 as a DJ and later hosted the Live Lounge, The Official Chart on Radio 1, and her 1Xtra programme. Clara also addressed the pressures of working in high-profile broadcasting as she said she never wanted to 'resent' the job. She added: 'I had mixed reactions. Obviously our bosses, who are lovely, were like 'But why?' 'I'm one of these people where I am so passionate about what I do that I never want to resent anything, I don't want anything to feel like it's forced or a chore. 'And I want to be able to listen to music always as a fan, rather than as a business, and I want to be able to talk to people on a human level without thinking, 'Got to get that viral interview clip'.' Clara left Radio 1 in 2023, marking the end of a decade-long chapter that included championing new artists through her 'hottest record' feature. At the time, she said: 'I'm so proud of the work I've been able to do on every show, whether it's been from the 8th floor, a city in the UK or a pop star's house across the pond. I'm grateful to have had the ears of the listeners who have consistently shown up for me. 'I'm enamoured by everyone I've had the privilege of working alongside for each and every broadcast. 'I'm energised and excited for my next chapter as part of the network and beyond.' It comes after Clara revealed that she 'debated having liposuction ' after 'getting in her own head' about her body image. The presenter candidly discussed her relationship with her body image as she covered the December edition of UK Women's Health last year. In the accompanying interview, Clara reflected on how she thought her career 'would be different' if she looked a certain way. The broadcaster explained how she 'tries to stop herself' from constantly thinking about her body in an industry that is 'obsessed' with people's appearances. She said: 'If I had done all these things but I existed in a different body, maybe had a looser hair pattern, or if I was a few shades lighter, I wonder if my career would be different, and I wonder if I would get treated better.' 'I'll be so real with you, I was debating having lipo. I won't lie, towards the end of last year – because I got in my head, I had the consultation and everything.' Explained what stopped her, she added: 'I obsessively research things, and I was just looking at all the times when it had gone wrong for people. I think I scared myself out of it, to be honest.' In the UK, private liposuction surgery can cost between £2,000 and £6, op, which tends to last a few hours, involves removing unwanted body fat by inserting a tube under the skin and sucking out small areas of fat. After bruising and swelling from the operation has healed, the areas treated visibly shrink. Recovery can take weeks. Graduating with a media arts degree in 2006, Clara joined Kiss FM as a marketing intern in 2007, progressed to stand-in presenter. She then secured a role as drivetime host, leading to BBC Radio 1 Extra in 2013 and her daytime Radio 1 show in 2015.

Butterfly theme, Nicola's dress & Instagram snaps… all Brooklyn & Nicola Peltz's savage wedding renewal digs at Beckhams
GAZING adoringly into each other's eyes, the secret 'second wedding' of Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham may be their most savage move yet. The nuptials, to which none of the Beckhams were invited, have been labelled 'deliberately provocative' and straight out of 'the Prince Harry manual'. 8 8 8 And it could be the snub that severs Brooklyn's ties with his famous family, including parents David and Victoria, once and for all. It would seem that every part of the couple's vow renewal — from the butterfly theme to the chosen officiator and the dress, which Nicola splashed all over Instagram — was a blow to Posh, Becks and their other kids Romeo, Cruz and Harper. They will need to rely on cringeworthy 'wedding' snaps posted online for a glimpse of the hype on Brooklyn's big day, including one photo featuring a topless Nicola with her mum Claudia Heffner. In it, the 'bride' wears only a pair of skimpy knickers and presses her boobs against her former fashion model mother's back. One follower said it gave her 'the total ick' and looked 'more like a mum & daughter OnlyFans shoot'. It was captioned with clinking champagne glass emojis and six swans, which symbolise wisdom, love and grace. Some suspect it could be a veiled dig at the Beckhams. 'No way back' Conspiracy theorists reckon it might reference Brothers Grimm fairytale The Six Swans, in which a king's daughter is forced to remain silent for six years to free her siblings from a witch's spell. That story of love, sacrifice, perseverance and the power of inner strength against the odds is, according to some, similar to Nicola and Brooklyn's situation. Others believe the butterfly theme at the couple's reception could hold meaning as it traditionally symbolises rebirth, transformation and freedom — hinting that the Beckham chapter is firmly closed and there is no way back. Watch the moment Brooklyn Beckham 'proposes' to Nicola Peltz before vow renewal And it certainly seems the road for a return could be blocked, with all of Brooklyn's nearest and dearest noticeably absent from the lavish vows do at the Peltzes' Westchester County mansion. Nepo baby pals Rocco Ritchie, Jack Ramsay and Anais Gallagher were also missing from the guest list. Not even Brooklyn's adored godfather Sir Elton John, who tried to act as peacekeeper, was there. Instead, it was Peltzes galore, including Nicola's six brothers, and surprising invitees including A-list actor Adrien Brody, fashion designer Alexander Wang and Katy Perry's hair colourist Daniel Moon. Fans noted the awkward array of pals and that the groom wasn't even centre-stage in one picture, writing: 'Brooklyn looks like a guest at his own 'second wedding'.' In fact, the only 'friend' there seemed to be Jeremy Clerc, who owns an assisted living business and featured in a 2020 Instagram post captioned, 'love you guys'. So it appears to be a case of out with the old UK pals, and in with the rich red, white and blue. It's a clear sign of who Brooklyn, 26, now prioritises and considers his new inner circle. PR guru Mark Borkowski tells The Sun: 'He's swapped the Brit pack tribal connections for Nicola's billionaire bubble. 'It's a move straight from the Prince Harry manual — ditch the old circle, live in your spouse's world and curate a new reality.' Tensions have escalated between the Peltz-Beckhams and Brooklyn's family since the couple first tied the knot in a lavish £3million affair in Palm Beach, Florida, in 2022. A source told Entertainment Tonight that Nicola, 30, was 'thrilled to marry Brooklyn' again on August 2 'because their wedding didn't go the way she imagined due to family drama'. This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria. It feels cruel and spiteful. This is no longer a game. It's gone beyond all that A source It followed claims that Victoria hijacked the first dance at the original nuptials after Marc Anthony, who was performing at the event, invited her on to the stage — referring to her as 'the most beautiful woman in the room'. The source added: 'This time, they didn't have to deal with outside opinions on what Nicola wore, first dance issues or general struggles to control things.' The insider claimed the couple 'focused on their own happiness' instead of trying to 'make everyone happy'. But Brooklyn's family did not know a thing about the renewal until it featured on a US news site, according to another source. 'This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria,' they said. 'It feels cruel and spiteful. 'This is no longer a game. It has gone beyond all that.' 8 8 The Beckhams now 'see no way back' and question whether the couple will 'revert to Peltz' and ditch their surname altogether, the source revealed. Brooklyn is incredibly close with his wife's brood and even had the renewal officiated by her billionaire father Nelson, 83 — said to be 'heartbreaking' for David, who feels replaced. They are ostracising Brooklyn's family in another push away. They seem to be saying, 'There is no way back' Behavioural psychologist Jo Hemmings Nicola's captions on two of a stream of pictures focusing on the occasion included, 'this day meant so much to us' and, 'only love', which deepened the wound even further. 'Imagine being the parents of Brooklyn and seeing this, so heartbreaking,' one follower posted after seeing the snaps. Behavioural psychologist Jo Hemmings says the service and subsequent pic-sharing looked like a 'deliberate provocative gesture'. She told The Times: 'They are ostracising Brooklyn's family in another push away. They seem to be saying, 'There is no way back'.' In fact, neither Nicola nor Brooklyn has extended an olive branch this year in spite of peacemaking attempts by David. They did not wish either of his parents a happy birthday on social media, but gushed, 'we love you' on Nelson's big day in June. And they did not even congratulate David on his much yearned-for knighthood. In fact, the last photo featuring the couple with the Beckhams was shared on Boxing Day. In the eight months since, Nicola has posted a total of 415 pictures and videos — not one including Victoria, David or any of Brooklyn's siblings. There was no, 'You were missed' in picture captions from the vow renewal, unlike David wrote when his son skipped multiple celebrations for his 50th birthday, including one nearby in Miami. And the perceived digs do not end there. Speculation surrounding the family rift was further fuelled by Nicola's butterfly-adorned reception dress — which some think was a snub to Victoria, who has her own fashion brand. 8 8 Indeed, it was the latest in a string of 'wedding' outfits Nicola has worn which did not come from her mother-in-law's label. This time she upcycled the gown her mum wore as a bride in 1985. Spectators have called it Nicola's 'revenge dress' after she claimed Victoria had offered to design her original gown — then allegedly 'blanked her for days' before saying her firm couldn't do the job. Despite the hurt, none of the outfits that Nicola wore over her weekend-long wedding celebrations in 2022 were by Victoria's label. Instead, the model, who 'was painted as a brat' over the alleged fiasco, opted for a Valentino Haute Couture wedding gown, a trio of Versace numbers and a Dior bridal suit. And this time, Nicola was clearly doubling down by wearing two non-VB outfits. Brooklyn's appearance may also sting for his family — as of his 100 tattoos, 70 are dedicated to Nicola and her family, including her late grandma Gina. He also camouflaged a 'mama's boy' tattoo on his heart with flowers. It's yet another sign of Brooklyn's life being overtaken by the Peltzes, which likely leaves the Beckhams feeling sidelined. Mark Borkowski says the vow renewal ceremony was more like 'a soft launch for the Peltz brand' than a touching family reunion and that the Beckham name was 'parked at the . . . diamond-encrusted gates' of the billionaire Peltzes mansion. It seems Brooklyn's family were not even referenced and played no part in the event. Ditching 'the Beckham dynasty', which Mark considers a 'golden ticket', is risky. But Brooklyn seems unfazed as he is drawn deeper into his wife's family. In a video posted by the wannabe chef in May, he called wife Nicola 'my whole world', adding, 'I always choose you'. There's no doubt where Brooklyn's loyalties lie now. And after his controversial vow renewal, the door back to the Beckhams appears very much nailed shut. 8 Brook wants to cut family adrift By Sally Land BROOKLYN Beckham has sent a message loud and clear that he is drawing a line under his former life. His recent marriage vows renewal with Nicola – after just three years – should have been a time of celebration for both his and his wife's familes. But the occasion was entirely dominated by his in-laws the mega-wealthy Peltz clan. Not one member of his own family was invited to the occasion, and none of his former friends and associates were included either. This is a man who is determined to cut himself adrift from his parents, his siblings and grandparents. While his bride's family have seemingly enveloped him with open arms, by turning his back towards his own parents, his brothers and sister, he has severed a key support line. For while we often dislike or disagree with what our loved ones tell us, they are most likely to be the ones who truly have our best interests at heart. None of us really know what goes on within the walls of other family's homes but for a family to be rejected by one member is truly painful. All the Beckhams can do is keep quietly reassuring Brooklyn that they love him and that when the time is right, welcome him back without reservation. Being rejected by a loved one, or living as an estranged adult carries huge social stigma and regularly leads to a deep sense of isolation.
