
Officials honor businessman for supporting summer school students
Sana'a - Saba:
Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei and Mayor of the Capital Sana'a Dr. Hamoud Ubad on Wednesday honored businessman Mohammed al-Dawa for his support of summer school students in Sana'a.
They commended al-Dawa's initiative in providing over 100,000 juice boxes to students in the summer courses, as well as his involvement in charitable activities.
The officials encouraged other businessmen and merchants to contribute to the success of the summer courses, which aim to build a knowledgeable generation grounded in Quranic culture

Starting workshop on executive mechanism for preparing plan for year 1447 AH
Ibb - Saba A training workshop on the executable mechanism for preparing the 1447 AH plan and updating development reports at the governorate and district levels was launched at the National Institute for Administrative Sciences in Ibb Governorate on Monday, May 19, 2025, with the participation of 105 planning officials from executive and local authorities. The workshop, which will last for two days, aims to enhance the participants' efficiency in preparing development plans according to directives and priorities, and to reinforce the role of local authorities in improving services and establishing the faith-based identity. During the opening, the governorate's deputy, Mohammed Al-Shubaibi, emphasized the importance of planning for achieving development, while Dr. Ali Al-Hakimi explained that the success of the administrative process depends on the quality of planning, especially during crises, pointing out Ibb Governorate's outstanding performance in last year's evaluations. For his part, the planning sector official, Kamal Al-Harithi, reviewed the main axes of the new plan, which include the faith-based identity, economy, education, services, health, and social care, calling for setting developmental priorities according to the actual needs of each district. Closing Financial Control & Internal Audit Course for Financial Affairs Department at Interior Ministry
Sana'a - Saba: The General Directorate of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Interior concluded the first training course in financial control and internal audit for both resources and expenditures, in accordance with the Government Accounting System manual. The six-day course, held in cooperation with the Yemeni House for Consultations and Institutional Development, aimed to equip 35 department personnel with skills in financial oversight and internal auditing, in line with government accounting standards. The closing ceremony was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Resources Sector Brigadier General Ali Al-Mansour and Director General of Training and Qualification Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Madani. The Director General of Financial Affairs, Brigadier General Youssef Al-Shami, emphasized that the course aligns with the Ministry of Interior's efforts to enhance personnel efficiency and improve performance to ensure transparency and financial discipline. He noted that the department will proceed with the second and third batches of the training course in the coming days, involving around 60 officers and non-commissioned officers, including heads of departments, audit specialists from the General Directorate, financial personnel, as well as accounting and auditing specialists from provincial security departments, hospitals, traffic police, and facilities guard units.
