Amy Childs delays wedding to next year for 'bigger and better' celebrations after her mother's ill health as she gives a major update
The former TOWIE star, 35, shared a major update on Tuesday as she revealed she is planning an 'even bigger and better' wedding than originally organised next month.
Amy's mum Julie, 59, sadly suffered from a heart attack in May, which seems to have pushed back their desired wedding date in September.
Despite no longer tying the knot this year, Amy and Billy, who have been together since 2021, said they will get hitched in 2026 and have insisted it will be 'amazing' as they are hoping for a two-day event or week abroad.
Speaking about her plans to new!, an optimistic Amy said: 'We'll get a new date set. We'll get the summer out the way and in September we'll get organised.
'The wedding I want needs to be amazing. It will definitely be next year.'
Meanwhile, her future husband added: 'We'll delay it for a year and it will be bigger and better. I'd love to do a two-day event in England or a week abroad.'
Despite the 'pressure being off' as the couple have loads of time to plan for a wedding next year, Amy was very much sorted for the original date - apart from the main event - her dress.
She explained that she did start hunting for the perfect wedding dress for her nuptials, even looking up designers and on boarding a stylist for extra help.
The reality star added: 'We got everything sorted. The only thing I didn't sort out was the dress. I was looking at designers – I had a stylist. In the end, my life was turned upside down with my mum and that was really tough.'
The mum-of-four said Julie was rushed to hospital despite not having any symptoms before the heart attack, which is what shocked her the most.
Sharing an update on her health, she explained that Julie has since had a stent put in and that she is with her every day.
Amy - whose youngest kids are eight-month-old twins Billie and Millie - said it was hard to juggle looking after them as well as making sure her mum was fine.
The TV personality is also mum to daughter Polly, eight, with builder Bradley Wright, and Ritchie, five, with her ex of the same name.
She shared how they were in Tenerife at the time, and Amy flew straight home to be with her mum.
Thankfully, she said her mum is now fine and will likely speak about it on upcoming scenes on TOWIE.
Julie will be known to fans as she starred in her daughter's 2011 reality show, It's All About Amy.
It comes after Amy shared a gushing appreciation post for fiancé Billy, as she admitted the couple had gone through 'a very stressful six months'.
Taking to her Instagram, she posted a glowing tribute to her partner for getting through the stressful time together - juggling house renovations, their careers and raising four children.
Amy shared a snap of the couple together as Billy wrapped a loving arm around her waist.
Captioning the loved-up shot, she gushed: 'Appreciation post for this one ♥️ A very stressful 6 months with the house renovations but we are finally there.
'Passing ships, 4 kids, house renovation, work, if we can get through this we can get through anything babe♥️ I love you babe @billydelbosq8.'
Billy was quick to take to the comments to voice his own appreciation for Amy, penning: 'The last 6 months has been an absolute rollercoaster of ups and downs.. Renovations, Family life, work life and everything else in between..
'But we've come through the other side stronger… Life always throws curve balls but no matter what we have us ❤️ I love you xxx'.

Huge clue Rochelle Humes and Frankie Bridge have ended ‘feud' with each other – but not Myleene Klass
FRANKIE Bridge and Rochelle Humes appear to have ended their "feud" after dropping a huge clue. Yet The Saturdays hitmakers, whose friction behind the scenes was first revealed by The Sun, might not be making amends with fellow former popstar Myleene Klass, 47. 7 The Up singers' difficult relations with Myleene came to light - after a row over the Hear'Say singer's "cheating" ex Graham Quinn. We then reported how ITV has stepped in to manage strained relations between Frankie, Rochelle, and Myleene. This weekend, we told how Rochelle, 36, had hit the like button on an Instagram upload showing Loose Women panelist Frankie, 36, stripping to a patterned bikini. Rochelle's like, at the time, was a surprise move amid their feud - as they rarely publicly support each others' posts. The All Fired Up singers haven't liked each others' uploads in years, and, until last week, there had been no likes or comment exchanges between the pair since 2013. This could mean they were wiped if one of them had blocked the other. Yet now they appear to have signalled their clash is over - after publicly supporting each others' social media content. After Rochelle kicked things off with her like, she has now showed her approval for Frankie's "holiday fits" upload as well as a gallery showing the family's coconut tree. Meanwhile, I'm A Celeb star Frankie has shared her approval for a recent Instagram paid post featuring Rochelle and her husband Marvin as well as a gallery of "summer love" images which started with a snap of Rochelle and her sisters. The olive branch comes after mum of two Frankie recently posted a cryptic "you're dead to me" upload after the pair kept their distance at Wimbledon. Rochelle - who was in The Saturdays band with Frankie since 2007 - uploaded an equally thought-provoking message about "choosing partners wisely." TOUGH TIMES Recently, The Sun reported how ITV has stepped into manage relations between Frankie, Rochelle, and Myleene. All three former pop stars now work as Daytime presenters at ITV. They were all once close, with Loose Women hosts Myleene and Frankie attending Rochelle's hen do back in 2012. Myleene's shock feud explained Myleene Klass has found herself embroiled in a bitter feud. It all kicked off when she made shock claims about her ex-husband Graham Quinn. The former Hear'say star claimed that she walked in on her ex and a famous woman in the industry "unzipping" each other's clothes. Myleene said the heartbreaking moment happened in her home at her own birthday party. Speaking on We Need To Talk podcast, Myleene said: "It was in my house, it was my party. "They weren't having sex but they were unzipping each other. 'It's not what you think,' but it is what I think. It's the first thing they both said. "I kicked everybody out of the party including his mum and dad." Graham is yet to respond publicly to the accusations. However, it has ignited a feud with fellow noughties popstars, Rochelle Humes and Frankie Bridge. The two Saturdays stars are both former clients of Graham, and have remained friends with him. Friends told The Sun that Myleene's claims about Graham have caused tension between her, Rochelle and Frankie. Shortly after she dropped the cheating bombshell, Frankie then posted a cryptic video, which said that somebody was 'dead to me'. Rochelle then shared a cosy snap with Graham, along with husband Marvin Humes. In a further twist, sources claim that Rochelle gave Myleene's ex a place to stay when she dumped him. However, Rochelle and Frankie remained friends with their former bodyguard and Myleene's ex husband Graham Quinn. Rochelle even posted snaps with Graham in Ibiza last week. In 2013, soon after Myleene's divorce from Graham, guests at the Glamour Women of the Year awards saw her storm over to Frankie after believing she had been blanked. A source previously said: 'Myleene seemed to take that as Frankie taking sides with Graham because of their working relationship." Meanwhile, Frankie and Myleene have not appeared on Loose Women together since an 'awkward' episode last December. Sources said that though they'd rather not be on together, they are professionals and do their best to make things work. Tensions between the trio could well have heightened after Graham hit back at Myleene last weekend, blasting allegations of his "cheating." Meanwhile, Frankie this week posted a cryptic TikTok clip about being "a people pleaser" as the Myleene feud rumbled on. Rochelle also shared a mystery message in which she confessed "it's been a day." 7 7 7 7
