Meet Shah Rukh Khan's heroine who wore bikini only once, the film became blockbuster, never did any intimate scenes because..., her name is...
As actors, performers one invests a lot in a character. To get in the role one often needs to change their appearances, attire, etc. But sometimes, not everyone I as comfortable as doing everything as others. In movies, actors have often opened up about their comfort levels when performing an intimate scene, to bold costumes. However, some of the actors despite their stardom do not subscribe to the idea of doing something that puts them in a spot.
This is about one actress who once wore a bikini but never again. She is considered to have gone beyond the concept of stereotypical who was supposed to be 'fair and fit.' such industry and regressive beauty standards never bothered her and neither it stopped her career growth. Without performing scenes that make her uncomfortable or adhering to social stigmas, she became a leading lady. Her name is Kajol.
Kajol started her film career with the film 'Bekhudi' in 1992. In her 32-year career, Kajol has worked in more than 51 films and series. She has essayed array of characters but never has done any obscene scene. In her career she wore a bikini for the first and last time in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Baazigar' in 1993. The movie one of the highest grossing films in that year.
Kajol once addressed this part of her career. In Netflix's roundtable she once said 'It has always been my take as an actor that I'll not do scenes that require me to be either molested or in any which way show me in a place where I don't want to be because I think as actors when we do a shot, we're feeling it, we're feeling it. So yes, we are actors up to a point but the camera I feel is one of those things it's like man-made magic and it tends to capture it if you're not being honest in front of it. At times like this, you need to be honest.'
During the same conversation on Netflix Film Actors' Roundtable in 2023, 'Do Patti' actress mentioned, 'That's been my thing on it that. 'No, I don't want to do this. I don't feel comfortable. I don't feel comfortable when I have to act out a scene where I am being physically abused or molested.' I have done it, it's not that I haven't. But, it's very very very uncomfortable and very disturbing. And I don't feel I need to do it to prove a point. I can prove my point to be a good actor in 100 different ways. I don't need this particular experience.' Despite this, Kajol broke her own rules in one of her series, The Trial, where she was seen kissing Alyy Khan's character.

"There's a sliver of vulnerability -- especially in how he loves his niece. She's the only person he protects without question," Rampal shares. Insider Scoop: Cast of 'Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa' unveils behind-the-scenes magic in candid interview "What made playing Rauf so challenging was how he could show tenderness, even while being completely consumed by darkness," the actor added. The series has been created by and directed by Anshuman, , and Abhay Chopra. It is produced by Locomotive Global Media. Earlier, the creator of the show, Karan Anshuman had shared an interesting anecdote from the shooting of the series when Rana Daggubati improvised his lines but it soon went into some other tangent. Rana Daggubati essays the titular character in the series, and was in a heated stand-off against his uncle Venkatesh Daggubati, who essays his estranged father in the series. During the verbal stand-off, the two broke into Telugu language. Now, Karan has a little knowledge of the language, so he, in his director's seat, was under the impression that "magic is about to happen" since both the actors were saying lines in their native language, which essentially means better grip on the dialogue exchange. However, the director was shocked to his bones when he heard the word "biryani". The show is set to stream on Netflix on June 13.
