Tanla Announces First Quarter Results for FY26
Key Metrics: First Quarter (April – June 2025)
• Revenue was at ₹ 1041 Cr, grew by 1.6% QoQ and 3.8% YoY
• Gross profit was at ₹261 Cr, with a gross margin of 25.0%
• EBITDA was at ₹ 164 Cr, with an EBITDA margin of 15.8%
• Profit after tax was at ₹ 118 Cr, with a profit after tax margin of 11.4%
• Earnings per share at ₹ 8.82
• Cash balance at ₹ 910 Cr, post payout of interim dividend
Uday Reddy, Founder Chairman & CEO, said, "Our AI-native platform will go live in August 2025 with a leading telco in Southeast Asia, deepening our inroads into international markets. London: Ashish Kumar Chauhan, MD and CEO of National Stock Exchange (NSE), said on Saturday that it was an honour to witness the signing of Free Trade agreement between India and the UK, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his counterpart Keir Starmer. 'Honoured and privileged to be a witness to the signing of Free Trade agreement between India and UK on July 24,2025 with Hon'ble PM India and Hon'ble PM Uk at the country residence of UK PM Chequers outside London, UK,' Chauhan said in a post on X social media platform. The landmark India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is an indication of several such trade pacts in the near future under the leadership of PM Modi, he had said earlier on Friday. Speaking to IANS here, Chauhan said that the talks on the India-UK FTA were ongoing for three-four years. 'When talks first began 4–5 years ago, the UK was under a Conservative government. Since then, there have been regime changes but the way both the Conservative and the Labour parties supported finalising the FTA is commendable,' he emphasised. According to Chauhan, the India-UK FTA will pave the way for several such trade pacts with other nations, like the US, the EU and Japan etc, in the near future. India and the EU are aiming to reach an agreement on a free trade deal by the end of 2025. The coming months will be crucial for India's global trade relations, as the government intensifies negotiations with major partners such as the EU and the ASEAN bloc. Meanwhile, talks with the US are also gaining pace. 'The world has seen the tremendous progress India has achieved in the last 11 years under PM Modi, and the FTA will bring a better future for several industries,' said the NSE CEO.

Navigating the real world adoption of agentic AI in enterprises
The 2021 collapse of 'Zillow Offers' serves as a stark reminder of what can go wrong when AI is deployed without the right safeguards. Built to automate home buying, Zillow's algorithms frequently misjudged market conditions – causing the company to overpay for thousands of homes. With unsold inventory piling up, Zillow took nearly a billion dollars in losses, laid off 2,000 employees, and eventually shut down the this played out in the consumer space, similar risks are surfacing inside enterprise AI pilots across banking, pharma, and manufacturing where agentic models are being rushed into production without the governance. However, real-world adoption of Agentic AI presents a complex landscape. What looks promising in a lab can fall apart in production. The gap between PoC and scalable success remains wider than most leaders realize. The AI adoption journey According to Gartner's 2024 survey, a striking 80% of Generative AI proof of concepts (PoCs) fail to make it to full-scale production. Most enterprises begin their AI journey by collaborating with existing technology vendors and engaging strategy consulting firms to craft a tailored AI roadmap. This typically leads to the identification of a few proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives aimed at testing AI's viability within specific business processes. Upcoming IPO: Ashish Kacholia-owned Sahajanand Medical Technologies files DRHP for public issue launch
Upcoming IPO: Medical devices company Sahajanand Medical Technologies has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the capital markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), on Friday, July 25, 2025. Founded by Dhirajlal Kotadia in 2001, Sahajanand Medical Technologies (SMT) Limited specialises in advanced medical devices in vascular and structural heart intervention. Ashish Kacholia, Samara Capital Markets Holding Limited, Kotak Pre-IPO Opportunities Fund and Plutus Wealth Management LLP are the major shareholders in the company. According to the DRHP filing, the company is offering a book-built initial public offering (IPO) with an entirely offer for sale (OFS) component. The company proposed to make an offer-for-sale of up to 2,76,44,231 equity shares to shareholders with a face value of Re 1 apiece. The offer also provides a discounted subscription reservation for eligible employees within the employee reservation section. The public issue consists of stakes of up to 27,00,000 equity shares each of Shree Hari Trust and Dhirajkumar Savjibhai Vasoya, around 1,29,58,126 equity shares by Samara Capital Markets Holding Limited, up to 26,15,750 equity shares by Kotak Pre-IPO Opportunities Fund, and up to 66,70,355 equity shares by NHPEA Sparkle Holding B.V. The offer is conducted through a book-building process, with up to 50% allocated to qualified institutional buyers and at least 15% and 35% assigned to non-institutional and retail individual bidders, respectively, according to the draft papers. The equity shares are proposed to be listed on the NSE and BSE. The book-running lead managers for the public issue are Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors, Avendus Capital Private, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India), and Nuvama Wealth Management.
