The actress and presenter, 49, revealed her cousin Carl had sadly passed away, leaving her heartbroken. 4 4 4 4 Kym has now revealed that she has felt a lack of support from some of those close to her, during her time of extreme heartbreak. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the former Coronation Street star said: "Friends are the family you chose! "Thank you so much to everyone who has checked in today to see how I am when I needed you the most! I love you all! "Those that haven't… you know who you are!" Yesterday, a heartbroken Kym revealed the sad news that she was saying goodbye to her cousin Carl. The actress and singer took to Instagram to reveal her devastation. She wrote: "I can't believe I'm writing this. Today our family say goodbye to Carl. My cousin. A legend to all who knew him. "A light turned out far too soon. A huge hole in our lives that will never be filled. Sometimes life makes no sense. There are times when you just can't understand how such cruel things happen, to good honest people. "This is one of those times. Carl was the kindest, funniest, most unique person I've ever known. The memories I have of us growing up, the camping holidays with the fam, the laughs, your silliness, your loyalty." Kym called him "one of a kind" and said she would miss him "until the end of time". Coronation Street star Frank Grimes dies aged 78 as tributes paid to 'one of Ireland's greatest actors' She continued: "And I know you would be telling me to stop being a silly a**e and stop crying, and that you would want me to be where I am doing what I'm doing. Doesn't stop me wishing I was there, or thinking of my family today, or grieving, or wishing I could make this better for everyone. "I know that the family will give you the best send off cuz and that they will do you proud. We will love you forever and always. Good night god bless my wonderful cousin. Sleep tight." The news came after her onscreen father in Coronation Street, Frank Grimes, also passed away. Kym, who played Michelle Connor in the soap, starred opposite the screen veteran during his time on the cobbles. It's understood that Frank, who played Barry Connor in Corrie over 50 episodes, passed away in the early hours of Friday, August 1, surrounded by his family. The Dublin born star was well-respected for his work both in Ireland and in the UK. And announcing his passing, the Irish Cultural Centre in London said Grimes was "one of Ireland's greatest actors." In a tribute, they said he was "so warm hearted, full of Dublin wit and charm in abundance and he had a beautiful sparkle in his eyes." They continued: "We know that Ireland has lost one of its truly great actors, the vintage of which is so rare and may never ever be matched again. "We are so sad to have to say goodbye to Frank, but we are also so blessed to have known him, to have worked with him and seen him perform. "We send our sincere condolences to his wife Ginnette, his daughter Tilly, his son Andrew, his 7 grandchildren and to all his extended family. "We also send our condolences to all of Frank's friends and loved ones - May Frank sleep easy now and Rest In Peace."

Pixie Lott delightedly reveals her due date and details the exhaustion of mothering son Bertie, 23 months, while pregnant with number two
She is expecting her second child with husband Oliver Cheshire. And Pixie Lott, who is seven months pregnant and already mother to son Bertie, 23 months, has now revealed exactly when she is set to welcome number two. Speaking to The Sun, the Essex-born beauty revealed that she is just four weeks away from welcoming her newborn, with her last gig being Friday's Flackstock. She said: 'I think the last gig [Flackstock] is going to be four weeks before the due date. So yeah, I think it's going to be fine... 'I did it last time and I've checked with the doc and he said that it's fine to keep doing it as long as you feel good. So hopefully, I mean that last show, four weeks, I don't know how long... Woo!' Pixie also discussed how she feels while being pregnant, working and looking after an under two-year-old all in one go. She divulged: 'It's more tiring being pregnant, waking up early and running around after him than the shows. Because with the shows I get like an adrenaline that takes over so I don't even think about it... 'The tiring bit is the running around after the toilet fight.' Last month, Pixie announced live on stage that she was expecting her second child at London's Mighty Hoopla. After revealing her pregnancy, Pixie cradled her blossoming bump and she flashed a radiant smile for the cheering crowd. Her very public announcement came in contrast to her first pregnancy, which she kept a secret until she was 31 weeks along. The pop star took to Instagram to break the joyous news in June 2023, showing off her bump in a black sports bra and leggings, while Oliver planted a kiss on her stomach. While the hitmaker has previously revealed her desire to have a 'big family', telling The Sun in 2021: 'I'm a big family girl, a very big family girl. 'It is everything to me so I would love to have my own when I can find the time. It's such an amazing thing to have.' Pixie and Oliver met for the first time at a Select Model catwalk show back in 2010 and quickly struck up a romance. The model then popped the question in November 2016 on the steps of St Paul's Cathedral in London. The couple finally tied the knot in June 2022 at Ely Cathedral after they were forced to cancel their wedding several times due to the Covid pandemic
