Discontinued Marmite product dubbed 'food of the gods' is finally back
Marmite Peanut Butter disappeared from shops in September 2024 when it was axed and people were quick to flood social media with demands for its return.
And it seems their prayers have been answered as the crunchy version of the spread is now available to buy once more at Tesco, Sainsbury's and Ocado.
The product sees crunchy peanut butter blended with classic salty Marmite to create what is said to be 'the ultimate toast topper'.
Currently a jar of the stuff will set you back £3 at Tesco but shoppers aren't put off by the price as they're racing to snap it up.
'Adds to basket immediately,' wrote @amyfredriksson on Instagram, as @newfoodspotteruk posted a series of running emojis, suggesting they were dashing to the supermarket.
Similarly, @loobyloufhalora commented: 'Added straight to online order for tomorrow.' And @dannyalpino claimed it was the 'best news I've heard all year!'
'NEVER take this away again,' instructed @izzy.leonard, while @tv_mamaof2 said: 'Life complete.'
In reviews on Tesco's website, shoppers also hailed it 'the best tasting peanut butter ever', 'delicious', 'proper scran' and the 'food of the gods'.
Others shared some of their favourite ways to eat the spread, with one person claiming they made 'amazing rocky road' with it and another revealed they spread it on toast with strawberry jam too.

The selection includes Cheddar & Marmite Sausage Rolls (£3.80) – which just so happen to be the brand's first ever sausage rolls to contain cheese – plus a Marmite Cheese Pizza (£5.75), Marmite Mac & Cheese (£3.50) and Marmite Mac & Cheese Bites (£3.75).
And Tesco also recently launched a 'game-changing' Marmite chilled range, with a selection of different potato dishes.
There were Marmite Roast Potatoes, Marmite Potato Wedges, Creamy Marmite Mash and a Cheese and Marmite Potato Gratin.

Each of the dishes cost £3.50 and they can be purchased in store or online.

Its owners, Tim Allen and his wife Mag, first took over the eatery in 2021 and the restaurant soon landed on the UK's Top 100 list. Based in Ormskirk, Lancashire, it became famous for its delicious Sunday lunch service. However, the restaurant will be closing its doors on July 27 as it undergoes a major revamp. It will remain closed until early November when it will reopen with a very different menu. Ahead of the closure, Tim has said: "This marks a really exciting stage in sō–lō's - and our own - journey. "The time is right to invest further in the business, enhance the offering here at sō–lō and build upon the reputation we have. "We want to be able to offer a stronger dining experience. "The sō–lō people know and love will still be here - relaxed, welcoming and ingredient-led - but with a more modern, crisp, fresh new look." He is remaining tight-lipped about the refurbishment, though he has said that there will be a new chef's table. Restaurant chain owned by Michelin-starred chef is on brink of collapse 16 years after it first opened Tim has also confirmed that the restaurant will continue to serve its à la carte lunch menu and award-winning Sunday lunch when it reopens. The Michelin-starred chef did drop some hints about the new menu though. He said: "Flavour will always be at the forefront of what we do, but we are mixing things up a little. "We'll also be offering a more casual, and shorter, tasting menu style experience which showcases outstanding ingredients, our passion for produce and imaginative dishes." The news comes after several major Michelin-starred restaurants have been forced to close. La Dame de Pic closed suddenly in February, alongside fellow French restaurant Café Lapérouse. Both restaurants were located in Central London, with La Goccia - another luxury restaurant in the capital - also closing. La Goccia's owners blamed Covid and Brexit for the closure, saying that both factors left them unable to hire trained staff.

Tesco cuts same-day delivery fees through school holidays
For the first time, all customers can now access eight weeks' worth of home delivery and Click+Collect slots over the summer across the UK, instead of the usual four weeks. For those unexpected summer moments, Tesco has made changes to same-day groceries too. Customers can book same-day home delivery or Click+Collect slots (subject to availability) and Tesco has removed same-day charge for home deliveries and Click+Collect slots from selected stores. For those last-minute essentials, Whoosh can deliver to the customer's home from as little as 20 minutes. Furthermore, to help customers maximise their summer break, Tesco is also offering over 15,000 additional Click+Collect slots from stores near popular holiday destinations across the UK to make it quicker and easier to pick up the essentials on route to your holiday home or campsite. Rob Graham, Tesco Online Director says: 'Summer holidays are a busy time for all of us as we juggle family life. From days out to BBQs and picnics, we're helping customers across the UK make the most of the summer, delivering everything they need to enjoy at home or during their holiday stay. 'This is a great time to plan ahead and let Tesco take some of the stress away from those summer activities by booking delivery or collection slots up to 8 weeks in advance. "And, for those last-minute essentials, we've also removed same-day delivery fees in selected stores and increased our Click+Collect availability in holiday hotspots to make sure we're there when customers need us.'
