Not only is Abu Dhabi's home carrier launching a brand-new seasonal destination in Egypt, but it's also spoiling passengers with limited-edition summer fun kits on the first flights of the season.
If you're flying out of Abu Dhabi International Airport this summer, you might be handed your own Etihad goodie bag mid-air – think a cooler bag, inflatable beach ball, Voss water bottle, towel and more, all designed to get you in full vacation mode before you even land.
As the summer 2025 season takes off, Etihad is launching flights to Al Alamein, Egypt's dazzling Mediterranean hideaway.
The new seasonal route kicks off from July 17, with twice-weekly flights every Thursday and Sunday, making it easier than ever for Abu Dhabi sunseekers to explore this lesser-known gem filled with natural beauty and rich history.
And if Europe's calling, Etihad has your back. The airline has resumed seasonal services to five of its most in-demand summer spots:
Nice in the French Riviera (yes, we're dreaming of croissants on the Côte d'Azur)
Malaga, which is also gateway to Andalucía and the Costa del Sol
The postcard-perfect Greek islands of Santorini and Mykonos
And Antalya, the Turkish Mediterranean jewel known for its turquoise coast and charming old town
Each destination has its own flight schedule, so whether you're planning a quick escape or a long Mediterranean break, there's a summer slot waiting with your name on it. And yes, every first flight to these sun-drenched spots came with that Etihad summer kit.
The in-flight experience has also had a seasonal refresh. Etihad's entertainment system is stacked with summer content celebrating these six hot destinations (plus a few extras across their global network), which might give you some extra holiday inspo while cruising at 30,000 feet.
