The annual PFT Live hiatus starts now
We do it every year, right around now. The two-hour weekday show devoted to all things NFL embarks on a hiatus.
This year's break begins today. PFT Live returns on Monday, July 28.
Obviously, nothing changes here. We'll have many daily updates, every single day. I'll also be doing #PFTPM episodes on most of the weekdays during the upcoming break.
Only days after we return, we'll be in Canton for the Hall of Fame game. And then comes the preseason. And the regular season. And on and on it goes, through Super Bowl LX on NBC and Peacock.
Since the last hiatus ended, we've had a cast of co-hosts including Chris Simms, Devin McCourty, Rodney Harrison, Michael Holley, Charean Williams, and Myles Simmons. With a dash of Peter King. Thanks to all of them for helping to deliver a show that provides an authentic look at pro football, from various perspectives.
And thanks to those of you who regularly consume the show, on Peacock or SiriusXM 85 or NBC Sports Now or Sky Sports or YouTube or clips on the website or via podcast.I'll be wide awake tomorrow morning, itching to do the show.

I lost my Pops in January of 2024, and Father's Day last year was a time of reflection and introspection. Fatherhood has already been an unbelievable experience and has changed me in so many ways. I can only hope that Ace feels the same way about me as I do about my dad. In April, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shocked many at the NFL Draft in Green Bay by selecting wideout Emeka Egbuka with their first pick in the selection show. Advertisement Most assumed general manager Jason Licht would take a defensive player, which was thought to be the focus for the team during the draft. While Licht ended up improving the defense anyway, with later picks, the Egbuka pick is thought of as one of the steals of the 2025 season. And star receiver Mike Evans, who's fresh off 11 straight 1,000-yard seasons, has been impressed by what he sees so far of the former Ohio State Buckeyes pass catcher. "I didn't [expect to draft a receiver] either, but you know Jason has always been great in drafts, and we wanted to pick the best players available, and from what I've seen so far, he was definitely the best player available," Evans said on Thursday.
