Special forces Season 4: Release date, time, cast updates and what to expect next

By Aman Shukla Published on August 7, 2025, 18:00 IST Last updated August 7, 2025, 11:38 IST If you're a fan of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test , you've probably been counting down the days—and the wait is almost over. The intense, no-frills reality series that throws celebrities into military-style training is officially back for Season 4, and it's shaping up to be another wild ride. Release Date: When Will Special Forces Season 4 Hit Screens? The good news is that Season 4 is officially happening. Fox confirmed the renewal on May 12, 2025, ensuring another round of grueling challenges for a fresh batch of recruits. The premiere is set for Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 9/8c on Fox, with episodes available for streaming the next day on Hulu. This marks the second season to air in 2025, following Season 3's run earlier in the year, which wrapped up in February. Unlike the first two seasons, which aired closer together in 2023, Season 4's timeline aligns with a more spaced-out schedule, giving producers time to craft a compelling new installment. While some speculated a mid-2025 release based on production patterns, the confirmed September date has settled the rumors. Expect a season packed with high-stakes challenges, airing weekly to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Cast Updates: Who's Facing the Toughest Test Yet? S This time, the lineup includes 18 celebrity recruits, and the casting team didn't hold back. From reality stars and actors to social media influencers, there's a little bit of everything. But what really makes this season stand out? Family ties. Yep—two married couples and a mother-daughter duo are jumping into the action together, which could either be heartwarming or downright chaotic (or both). Confirmed names include: Teresa and Gia Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey —expect some Bravo-worthy moments. Jussie Smollett , who's no stranger to public attention—let's see how he handles the pressure. Eva Marcille of Real Housewives of Atlanta fame, ready to prove she's more than just reality TV. Brittany Cartwright ( The Valley ) taking on the challenge solo. Kody Brown , the controversial Sister Wives star—this will be interesting. Social media duo Mark Estes and Brianna LaPaglia bringing internet energy to the field. Actor Ravi V. Patel, rounding out the list with a dose of humor and humility. As always, the Directing Staff will be made up of real-deal military veterans—Rudy Reyes, Jason 'Foxy' Fox, Mark 'Billy' Billingham, and Jovon 'Q' Quarles—who don't hold back. These guys don't sugarcoat anything, and that's what makes the show so gripping. What to Expect in Special Forces Season 4 Season 4 takes the action to the unforgiving deserts of Morocco. If that sounds brutal—it is. Past seasons have tested recruits in places like the Wadi Rum Desert, New Zealand, and rainy Wales, but Morocco brings a fresh kind of intensity. Blistering heat, sandstorms, and rough terrain will push everyone to their absolute limits. Online chatter has already kicked off. Some fans are skeptical about whether Teresa and Gia can keep up. Others are rooting hard for Eva Marcille. And then there's Jussie—one post bluntly put it, 'They're definitely gonna break him.' Whether that's true or not, it's clear: this season is going to have people talking. Ahmedabad Plane Crash Aman Shukla is a post-graduate in mass communication . BBC's long-running crime drama gets huge update and 'fans are NOT going to be disappointed'

The BBC's long-running uber-cosy crime drama Father Brown has received some major updates about its new season. The period detective show, which has been airing on BBC One in the afternoons since 2013, has just finished filming in the Cotswolds for its upcoming 13th run. To mark the occasion, the BBC has announced a whole raft of familiar faces who'll be popping up in the season as guest characters. Before we get to that, let's have a look at the returning cast members. Mark Williams, Tom Chambers, Claudie Blakley, Ruby-May Martinwood, John Burton, Nancy Carroll, John Light, Lex Shrapnel, Roger May and Kieran Hodgson are all coming back for more 1950s murder investigations. Sorcha Cusack will also be back, but only for the first episode. They'll be joined by: Maureen Lipman, Julia Sawalha, Phil Daniels, Debra Stephenson, Davood Ghadami, Kevin Harvey, George Rainsford and Timothy Watson. There's obviously a lot of recognisable names for soap fans there, as Maureen and Debra are from Coronation Street, Phil and Davood worked on EastEnders, and George is best known for Casualty. Meanwhile, Kevin appeared on a few episodes of Hollyoaks back in 2009, while Timothy is a long-standing cast member on a soap of a different kind with The Archers. Plot-wise, it's been teased that Father Brown is drawn into a cat-and-mouse with Father Lazarus in prison, while Bishop-Elect Canon Fox plans his revenge. Mr and Mrs Sullivan embark on married life, Brenda embarks on a self-empowerment journey, and everyone embarks on a trip to the seaside. "Father Brown has many loyal fans and they are NOT going to be disappointed with the latest episodes," said Commissioning Editor for BBC Daytime Helen Munson. "The team at BBC Studios have delivered another fabulous series, and there are some very exciting guest appearances too!" Executive Producer Neil Irvine added: "I'm delighted that Mark Williams is back as Father Brown for a phenomenal thirteenth series, which promises to be the most exciting to date. "Mrs McCarthy's return, a rock'n'roll invasion and a trip to the seaside are just a few of the treats in store for our loyal audience. And when Canon Fox becomes Bishop-Elect, Father Brown finds his position dangling perilously on a thread. Can he secure his position in Kembleford once and for all?" Father Brown usually airs new episodes on BBC One between January and March. 17 Choppy bob haircut ideas that prove the retro style is back and suits every face shape

Whether you've already got a shorter cut (and you're looking for ways to spice it up) or you're about to have a major hair overhaul, let us introduce you – or, perhaps, re-introduce you – to the choppy bob. Popularised in the 90s, thanks to Jennifer Aniston's iconic 'The Rachel' cut on Friends, the choppy bob is once again back in the spotlight, taking over our social media feeds and appearing on the likes of Hailey Bieber, Jenna Ortega, Yara Shahidi, Emma Myers and more. Leaning towards getting one yourself? We don't blame you! Here's everything you need to know about the choppy bob haircut, including how to style the soon-to-be everywhere look, according to expert Ryan Forsythe at Trevor Sorbie. Plus, scroll on for 17 inspiring choppy bob styles to suit all face shapes and hair types... "A choppy bob is a textured, layered take on the classic bob, with deliberately uneven or piece-y ends that create movement and an effortless, tousled look," says Forsythe, artistic education director at Trevor Sorbie, a multi-award-winning hair salon and hairdressers in London. "A choppy bob is designed to feel modern, a little edgy and low-maintenance," he continues. "A choppy bob style suits a variety of face shapes," the expert tells us, before adding that it works "especially well" on oval and heart-shaped faces because "the texture softens the features and adds balance". As for which hair types work well with a choppy bob, according to Forsythe, this hairstyle is ideal for "straight to wavy hair types". That's because "these textures help show off the layers and natural movement." What's more, the expert explains that fine hair benefits from a choppy bob, too. "The choppiness can create the illusion of volume," he says. "The best way to style a choppy bob is to enhance its natural texture," Forsythe advises. As for how to do that, the expert says to use "sea salt sprays, light mousses or texturising creams, followed by a rough blow dry or air dry." "A quick bend with straighteners or curling irons can add definition to the layers," he notes, adding: "Finishing with a wax/texture spray will really bring the style to life." Happy (choppy) bobbing!
