Special forces Season 4: Release date, time, cast updates and what to expect next
If you're a fan of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test , you've probably been counting down the days—and the wait is almost over. The intense, no-frills reality series that throws celebrities into military-style training is officially back for Season 4, and it's shaping up to be another wild ride. Release Date: When Will Special Forces Season 4 Hit Screens?
The good news is that Season 4 is officially happening. Fox confirmed the renewal on May 12, 2025, ensuring another round of grueling challenges for a fresh batch of recruits. The premiere is set for Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 9/8c on Fox, with episodes available for streaming the next day on Hulu. This marks the second season to air in 2025, following Season 3's run earlier in the year, which wrapped up in February.
Unlike the first two seasons, which aired closer together in 2023, Season 4's timeline aligns with a more spaced-out schedule, giving producers time to craft a compelling new installment. While some speculated a mid-2025 release based on production patterns, the confirmed September date has settled the rumors. Expect a season packed with high-stakes challenges, airing weekly to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Cast Updates: Who's Facing the Toughest Test Yet?
S
This time, the lineup includes 18 celebrity recruits, and the casting team didn't hold back. From reality stars and actors to social media influencers, there's a little bit of everything. But what really makes this season stand out? Family ties. Yep—two married couples and a mother-daughter duo are jumping into the action together, which could either be heartwarming or downright chaotic (or both).
Confirmed names include: Teresa and Gia Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey —expect some Bravo-worthy moments.
Jussie Smollett , who's no stranger to public attention—let's see how he handles the pressure.
Eva Marcille of Real Housewives of Atlanta fame, ready to prove she's more than just reality TV.
Brittany Cartwright ( The Valley ) taking on the challenge solo.
Kody Brown , the controversial Sister Wives star—this will be interesting.
Social media duo Mark Estes and Brianna LaPaglia bringing internet energy to the field.
Actor Ravi V. Patel, rounding out the list with a dose of humor and humility.
As always, the Directing Staff will be made up of real-deal military veterans—Rudy Reyes, Jason 'Foxy' Fox, Mark 'Billy' Billingham, and Jovon 'Q' Quarles—who don't hold back. These guys don't sugarcoat anything, and that's what makes the show so gripping. What to Expect in Special Forces Season 4
Season 4 takes the action to the unforgiving deserts of Morocco. If that sounds brutal—it is. Past seasons have tested recruits in places like the Wadi Rum Desert, New Zealand, and rainy Wales, but Morocco brings a fresh kind of intensity. Blistering heat, sandstorms, and rough terrain will push everyone to their absolute limits.
Online chatter has already kicked off. Some fans are skeptical about whether Teresa and Gia can keep up. Others are rooting hard for Eva Marcille. And then there's Jussie—one post bluntly put it, 'They're definitely gonna break him.' Whether that's true or not, it's clear: this season is going to have people talking.

'One Piece' season 2 first-look photos and teaser reveal early season 3 renewal
See Miss All-Sunday, Miss Wednesday, Captain Smoker, and Brogy as the live-action manga adaptation confirms season 3 return. This year's One Piece Day, the annual event in Tokyo, Japan celebrating the debut of Eiichiro Oda's manga series, came with some big reveals for Netflix's live-action show. A collection of One Piece season 2 first-look photos and a teaser trailer dropped, showcasing Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy and the other Straw Hats, as well as the first true looks at some of the new season 2 characters. Those include Lera Abova (Honey Don't!) as Miss All-Sunday, Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton) as Miss Wednesday, Callum Kerr (Monarch) as Captain Smoker, and Brendan Murray (Raised by Wolves) as Brogy. The teaser finishes with the other major update, which is that One Piece received a very early season 3 renewal. Before season 2 premieres on Netflix in 2026, production on the show's third go will commence in South Africa's Cape Town later this year. There will also be a bit of a changeup in season 3. While Matt Owens and Joe Tracz served as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers for season 2, Tracz will now hold those positions with Ian Stokes for the following season. Owens announced earlier this year that he'd step back from the series "to take a break and focus on myself and my mental health." In One Piece season 2, "Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn," the official description reads. "As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world's greatest treasure, they'll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies." "Everything I've done, everywhere I go is for the One Piece," Godoy's Luffy says in the to the high seas in the season 2 reveal are also Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Jacob Romero as Usopp. A premiere date has not been announced. Earlier this year for Netflix's Tudum event, the streamer showed Tony Tony Chopper for the first time. Mikaela Hoover voices the reindeer-boy hybrid. 'What excited me about playing Chopper is the tug of war between his standoffishness and his huge heart,' Hoover said. 'He tries so hard to hide his emotions and put on a tough exterior, but underneath, he's a big softy, and his love can't help but come out." See the One Piece season 2 first look above. From 'The Pickup' to 'My Oxford Year,' 10 movies you need to stream right now
The best place to see movies with comedy legends? Your local streaming service. A couple of weeks after Adam Sandler tore up the links with his Netflix "Happy Gilmore" sequel, Eddie Murphy's latest arrives on Amazon – and teams him with another "SNL" alum, Pete Davidson – with "The Pickup." But whether you're into the funny films or scarier stuff, services like HBO Max, Peacock, Hulu and more are delivering films to your favorite devices. Check out a California retro fest with Pedro Pascal and Tom Hanks, a freaky Stephen King tale with double the Theo James, and a new take on a sci-fi classic with Ice Cube. Here are 10 new and notable movies you can stream right now: 'Borderline' In this dark comedy set in the 1990s, a pop star (Samara Weaving) has recently returned home to her mansion when an escaped mental patient (Ray Nicholson) – and superfan – invades her home, hoping to wed his beloved. Charmingly unhinged, Nicholson is likable enough to root a little for the antagonist. Where to watch: Peacock 'Clown in a Cornfield' This clever and comedic slasher reinvention centers on a teen girl (Katie Douglas) who moves to a small Missouri farm town. The place has a dark past, partly because of the local corn syrup factory burning down but also because of a violent clown named Frendo who stalks youngsters. Perfect for horror fiends who want more plot with their gore. Where to watch: Shudder 'Final Destination Bloodlines' The 2000s horror franchise is back after a long hiatus – and maybe better than ever? Kaitlyn Santa Juana plays a college student who learns that her grandmother cheated Death decades ago, and now that jerk is coming to take out her whole family via various creatively gnarly, Rube Goldberg-esque kills. Where to watch: HBO Max 'Freaky Tales' Pedro Pascal is in approximately 57 movies this year, but none are quite like this bizarrely watchable, throwback action B-movie. The "Fantastic Four" star plays an enforcer on a mission of revenge amid intertwining stories set in 1980s Oakland with Nazi-stabbing youngsters, rap battles, a ninja hoopster and a crusty Tom Hanks. Where to watch: HBO Max 'Locked' Usually, Bill Skarsgård is the guy creeping people out. (Pennywise or Nosferatu, anyone?) But he's the one on the receiving end with this thriller. Skarsgård plays a young petty thief who jacks a car. But this souped-up vehicle is actually a trap, and its enigmatic owner (Anthony Hopkins) aims to teach him a lesson. Where to watch: Hulu 'The Monkey' Based on a Stephen King short story, Osgood Perkins' gory and gloriously absurd horror comedy unleashes Theo James as estranged twins trying to rid themselves of a cursed monkey toy that's a harbinger of death. It's an extremely demented, intriguingly insightful tale with themes of mortality and buckets of blood. Where to watch: Hulu 'My Oxford Year' Anna (Sofia Carson) is a New Yorker who fulfills her life's dream of going to Oxford University to study poetry. Things get complicated in the romantic drama, based on the Julia Whelan novel, when she falls hard for her TA, Jamie (Corey Mylchreest), who blows open her world but also comes complete with his own concerns. Where to watch: Netflix 'The Pickup' The constant buddy-comedy banter between Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson does wonders to keep this heist flick watchable. Armored truck driver Russell (Murphy) is nearing retirement and on a cash pickup job with young slacker Travis (Davidson) when the latter gets snookered by a criminal (Keke Palmer) into a high-stakes robbery situation. Where to watch: Prime Video 'War of the Worlds' Those who binge bad movies for fun, rejoice! Ice Cube plays a domestic terror analyst dealing with an alien invasion in this "screenlife" thriller – told through apps, texts, email and video chats – that remakes H.G. Wells' classic sci-fi tale. It basks in cheesy, product-placement ridiculousness, like the fate of the world hinging on an online Amazon purchase. Where to watch: Prime Video 'Wicked' If you didn't see the hit musical and "Wizard of Oz" prequel in theaters, on demand or on Peacock, maybe it's time to check it out on Amazon. Or simply to revisit the fantasy featuring Oscar nominees Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as pals Elphaba and Glinda before the highly anticipated sequel "Wicked: For Good" arrives in November. Where to watch: Prime Video

If you have to stream underrated Hulu movies, watch these ones (August 2025)
This August, Hulu welcomes several 2025 movies, including The Monkey, Osgood Perkins' adaptation of a Stephen King short story. The Monkey combines the kills of Final Destination with the humor of Gremlins to create a gory, violent horror. The Monkey has already shot to the top of the Hulu charts. Further down the chart sits Locked, an underseen 2025 thriller about a house of horrors inside a car. Locked is one of our underrated movies to watch in August. Read more for our picks. Recommended Videos We also have guides to the best new movies to stream, the best movies on Netflix, the best movies on Hulu, and the best movies on Amazon Prime Video. Locked (2025) Locked — not to be confused with Locke, a 2013 drama with Tom Hardy that also takes place in a car — pits Bill Skarsgård against a vigilante in search of justice. Without any means of transportation to pick up his daughter, Eddie Barrish (Skarsgård) breaks into an unlocked SUV. Little does Eddie know that the SUV has been transformed into a death trap, with William (Anthony Hopkins) using the car's cameras to watch his every move. Stuck inside the car, William plans to teach Eddie a lesson through various means of torture — unbearable heat, frigid AC, built-in tasers, and irritating music. Pushed to the edge, Eddie must outsmart William to escape and survive. Locked is a tight, claustrophobic thriller featuring an invigorating chess match between Skarsgård and Hopkins. Stream Locked on Hulu. The Beach (2000) The Beach is a fascinating look at Hollywood in 2000. It's Leonardo DiCaprio's first movie post-Titanic, built entirely around his star power. It features Danny Boyle after Trainspotting and before the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire. The Beach is a novel by Alex Garland before he embarked on a successful filmmaking career. I would love to see a version of The Beach with more experienced versions of DiCaprio, Boyle, and Garland. Richard (Leonardo DiCaprio) is an American traveler wandering through Thailand when he finds a map to a mysterious beach. Along with Etienne (Guillaume Canet) and Francoise (Virginie Ledoyen), Richard discovers a secretive community on a picturesque beach. Utopia doesn't last forever, and reality erases their wanderlust. Two-thirds of this movie works before it falls apart at the end. Problems aside, The Beach remains an interesting time capsule in movie history. Stream The Beach on Hulu. Click (2006) Call me crazy, but why does the public think Adam Sandler is Christopher Nolan? The discourse surrounding Happy Gilmore 2 is insane. Some viewers have called the sequel the worst movie ever made. To those critics, I say one word — relax. Sandler's movies are not Oppenheimer; stop expecting perfection. Dumb? Sometimes, but the laughs and feel-good nature always win out. Look at Click, a 2006 dramedy about a man who receives a magic remote that controls his surroundings. Is there lewd humor involved? Of course. Click also features a story about a man discovering his self-worth and what it means to appreciate the little things in life. The Sandler way — family and funny — is executed perfectly in Click. Stream Click on Hulu.
