'NPCs will remember you': GTA 6 viral Reddit leak hints at map details, memory of non-player characters and police interactions

Time of India23-04-2025

It has been over 500 days since Grand Theft Auto VI, a.k.a. GTA 6 Trailer 1, has been released. Since then, every day, a new rumour or leak surfaces online that leaves fans in a frenzy, although some of them are really hard to believe. Most recently, a post on Reddit has gone viral and has grabbed the attention of fans across.
Despite circulating rumours and leaks, Rockstar Games has kept its lips tight over any update or news about the game. The viral Reddit post, attached with a photo with a caption, "I worked as a QA on GTA VI last year. Here's what I can tell you."
The picture in the post claims to have worked as a QA on GTA VI for a short time the previous year, giving them access to some early test builds of the game.
GTA 6 spoiler alert: A look at the viral post
There have been multiple posts that allude to some of the features that we can expect to see in the next Rockstar title. The apparent QA first focuses on the map for GTA 6, which will be "more countryside than people think".
As per the post, the areas will consist of "backwater Florida mixed with weird swamp cult vibes", and weird events often come up in the map's "meth county".
NPC memory update in GTA 6: What's that?
Well, apart from other leaks mentioned in the post, it also posted about an interesting point, explaining the NPCS (Non-Player Characters) memory, as apparently, the NPCs will remember the actions a lot more than ever before.
It also mentioned that if you robbed them three days earlier, they would remember you. Well, the shopkeepers will recognise you if you caused chaos at their store, and even cops act differently if they had an earlier run-in with you.
"It's like the world doesn't forge't, the QA explained.
Interaction with police officers
Apart from the NPCS, the leak post also suggests that there will be new interactions with the police, and players will be able to hide items just before their cars are searched by them. This can even be done with the help of glove boxes or space under the seats.
The QA also claims that GTA 6's story is a bit slow to begin with, but it soon starts falling apart, making the narrative a lot more personal.

Did Samantha Ruth Prabhu remove her tattoo with Naga Chaitanya link 4 years after divorce? Fans are convinced

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu set the internet abuzz on Friday with the announcement of her new initiative, Nothing to Hide. The actor made the announcement with a brief teaser video on her social media. The video featured Samantha herself. But apart from the new initiative, what many fans noticed was that Samantha was missing a tattoo on her back, one she had got inked a few years ago when she was married to Naga Chaitanya. (Also read: Reddit spots Samantha Ruth Prabhu 'getting rid' of matching tattoo with Naga Chaitanya: 'Finally, time to move on') The video shows Samantha walk up to the camera and write 'Nothing to Hide' with a marker. She then turns around and walks away. Some fans noted that the YMC tattoo that Samantha had, signifying her film, Ye Maaya Chesave, was missing. "Samantha got her YMC tattoo removed," exclaimed one fan. 'I see no tattoo,' chimed in another. A post shared by Samantha (@samantharuthprabhuoffl) The tattoo was significant because Ye Maaya Chesave was the film that marked Samantha's debut as a lead actor back in 2010. It was also the film that introduced her to Naga Chaitanya, the film's male lead. The two began dating soon after and eventually tied the knot in 2017. Many fans credit the film as the 'cupid' between the two. However, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha separated in 2020, and their divorce was finalised in 2021. Fans are speculating that Samantha had the YMC tattoo removed now because of that. But others theorised that Samantha had simply covered the tattoo up for the ad as it was a brand campaign. Earlier this year, fans had noted that Samantha had already begun work on removing another tattoo of hers with a Naga Chaitanya link. 'Looks like Samantha is finally getting her tattoo removed. This was a matching tattoo with Chay.. it means 'Create your own reality,'' Reddit noted in May after her wrist tattoo appeared faded. In April 2022, Samantha had addressed her regret for getting tattooed in an AMA with fans. A fan asked her, 'Some tattoo ideas you'd love to try some day.' Samantha posted a video in reply on her Instagram Stories and said with clear, strong words, 'You know the one thing I'd tell my younger self is never ever get a tattoo. Never. Never ever. Ever, get a tattoo.' She was smiling throughout the video.

Reportedly, the filmmaker was 'inspired' by one of his close friends from the South film industry to take this step. 'Rumour has it Karan Johar secretly flew to South Korea multiple times to get… his face insured. Yup, inspired by a close friend, and apparently it's a trend there. Insiders say he's been way more chill since—smiling more, less snappy, even gave a rare compliment at work 😳 No word from him yet, but now we're all wondering: does this cover acne, sunburns, wrinkles? And how much is that premium?! 👀" the post read. If this is true, Karan Johar is not the first Indian celebrity to get his body part insured. Amitabh Bachchan also has his voice insured. It is said that John Abraham also has his ass insured. Meanwhile, Karan Johar's physical transformation has also been the talk of the town for a long time. Previously, it was said that the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director turned to Ozempic, a drug approved for Type 2 diabetes that's recently been trending for its weight loss side effects. However, in a recent interview with Raj Shamani, KJo revealed that his weight loss journey had nothing to do with any medication. 'I have always been battling the bulge," he said and then added, 'I've tried thousands of diets, five hundred kinds of workouts, every type you can imagine. Every diet, every workout routine, I've tried it all. I've been combating this for years." Karan further revealed that it wasn't until he got his blood work done recently that he discovered he had thyroid and other health issues that needed attention. This marked a turning point in his fitness journey. 'It was only recently, after years, when I got my blood work done that I found out I had certain thyroid issues and other problems that I needed to fix and I've been working on correcting them," he shared. On persistent rumours linking him to popular weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro, Karan responded firmly. 'Now people ask me, 'Are you on Mounjaro? Are you on Ozempic?' I'm tired of these comments. People don't know my truth. You don't know." First Published: June 07, 2025, 09:09 IST
