Jax Taylor shocks fans with horrific marriage insult directed at estranged wife Brittany Cartwright
Jax Taylor stunned viewers on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday night with a blunt confession about his crumbling marriage to estranged wife Brittany Cartwright.
The Valley star, 45, reflected on his behavior during their rocky final months, many of which played out on camera—including multiple explosive fights with Brittany, 36, who filed for divorce in August 2024.
The pair share a 4-year-old son, Cruz.
'Nobody should ever have to deal with the way I acted,' Jax admitted. 'Nobody should ever have to deal with, verbal abuse from anybody. I'm really sorry that people had to see all that.'
But the real bombshell came when he looked back on their marriage—and dropped a line that fans quickly slammed as a cruel dig at the mother of his child.
'My biggest regret is not ending this marriage sooner,' Jax said.
He didn't stop there. 'And I think I can speak for Brittany, this should have been over a long time ago.'
Host Andy Cohen jumped in, visibly taken aback: 'Your biggest regret should maybe be how you treated her?'
Jax responded simply: 'Yeah.'
Fans were quick to comment on social media.
'Watching Jax is a straight up trigger for me, I had a panic attack watching the episode tonight. He should not have a platform to make this kind of behavior seem normal. He is disgusting!' wrote one.

In March, Jax revealed he had been addicted to cocaine and sought treatment at a rehabilitation facility—twice.
Taylor also admitted to blowing a staggering amount of money on drugs and alcohol since his early 20s.
'I could probably buy a house for the amount of money I've spent on drugs,' he told USWeekly. 'It's sickening to me. My parents did not raise this kind of person.'
The candid interview comes after Cartwright admitted she was 'skeptical' about her ex's ability to turn his life around.
'I'm glad that he finally admitted to what was really going on,' she shared to People.
'For the first time, I can speak openly about the extent of trauma he's instilled on our family over the years,' she continued. 'I've tried desperately to help him without success.
'I pray that one day he completely knocks this addiction, but I'm skeptical,' she added. 'His behaviors are still alarming and his treatment plan seems to be the bare minimum.
'I'm trying to navigate this as best as I can for my son and I, but every day is still a challenge and very difficult,' Brittany concluded. 'Jax has caused an enormous amount of damage and I have very little trust in him at this point. My only hope is that one day, he will be a better person for his son.'
The couple first crossed paths in 2015, with their turbulent relationship playing out on Vanderpump Rules and their short-lived spinoff, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky.
They tied the knot in 2019 with a lavish wedding at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky.
After being fired from Vanderpump Rules in late 2020, Jax and Brittany eventually made their reality TV comeback as main cast members on The Valley in 2024.
In the midst of it all, they welcomed their son, Cruz, in 2021.

EXCLUSIVE Anne Burrell's friend breaks silence on 'shock and sudden' death... claiming chef was in 'decent shape'
Anne Burrell appeared to be in 'decent shape' days before she was found in her Brooklyn apartment on Tuesday, according to a friend who saw her a week prior. The well-known TV chef was found 'unconscious and unresponsive' when law enforcement responded to a call 7.50 am on June 17. The New York Fire Department confirmed to Daily Mail that they were responding to a report of a cardiac arrest. Her cause of death is still being investigated by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner. At 55 years old, chef Elizabeth Falkner claimed that her friend was in 'pretty decent shape' when she last saw her on June 9 at dinner in New York City. In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, Falkner, 59, revealed, 'I think Anne looks like she's in pretty decent shape these days, so it's kind of surprising to me.' Not being able to comment specifically on any health issues, if any, she might've battled before her death, she did find her passing 'so sudden and shocking.' 'I know it is very personal to me what happened, and I can't believe somebody even younger than me has just passed away. It's close to home for all of us,' she said. 'The culinary family is like family, so this hurts a lot of us. We just all feel it.' The shock comes from seeing her a few days ago at an intimate dinner she hosted - which she of course was the chef for the 'fun night' - at Soho House on June 9. 'I've seen [her] over all these years, not just on television competitions and shows, but at different parties and events and stuff, and we've always been friendly. 'But just in the last month we've been texting. I said, "Come to my dinner at Soho House, it'll be great to see you." And she brought her husband and we just had such a good time,' she shared about how the famous chefs reconnected. 'It was just so sweet. So this is just really so sudden and shocking.' Burrell even texted her the following day on June 10 to let her know that she and her husband, Stuart Claxton, had a great time. 'She's like, "Thanks so much for inviting us. It was a truly lovely time and very delicious. Please send me some pics so I can post." Falkner paid tribute to Anne on her Instagram after hearing about the shocking news 'And I said, "It was so great to see you, Anne."' The pals even made a pact to 'talk more often.' Audio of a distraught Cassie Ventura threatening to kill a man over a 'freak-off' video was released today as part of the evidence in Diddy 's trial. The newly-released audio was played by the disgraced mogul's lawyers during their cross-examination of Cassie last month, but has only now become public after being uploaded into the evidence files. Th defense used the audio in an attempt to prove that Cassie was an enthusiastic participant in the marathon sex sessions with escorts. 'It's my f***ing life and I'll kill you,' Cassie told the unidentified man, who had apparently claimed to have seen a video of a freak off in 2014. 'If you don't show me right now I will kill you, and I will hide you and I will cut you up and put you in the f***ing dirt.' Cassie added that if the man did not show her the footage, 'I'm gonna kill you and then [Diddy's] gonna kill you again.' The singer appeared to become angrier before she kicked others out of the room and slammed a door shut as she continued berating the man. The freak off videos are at the center of the sex-trafficking and racketeering case against Diddy. It was not until six weeks into the trial that the jury finally got a look at them. On Monday the trial got a glimpse at some of the freak-off sex marathons, with prosecutors showing excerpts of explicit videos that the hip-hop mogul recorded during the drug-fueled sessions. Prosecutors played portions of three sex videos recovered from a Diddy-linked account on a cellphone that Cassie provided to authorities, giving jurors a close-up view of the encounters they've heard about repeatedly since testimony began May 12. Because of their graphic nature, the excerpts were available for viewing only for jurors, the prosecution and defense teams and Diddy all of whom wore headphones to hear the audio portion. Reporters and members of the public were not allowed to see or hear the videos. Diddy, 55, has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges after his September arrest at a New York hotel.
