Daily Mail19-05-2025

Steve Burton wed Michelle Lundstrom at an Orthodox church in Laguna Beach, CA last Saturday attended by their immediate families.
At 54, the General Hospital star is a decade older than the Long Island foodie, but they've been going strong ever since he publicly confirmed their romance to Daily Drama one year ago.
'This day isn't just about a ceremony. It's the beginning of forever with the love of my life,' Steve told People.
'Honestly, I've never felt so loved and cared for in my entire life. I'm incredibly grateful to have her by my side. She is the most amazing, beautiful, and selfless woman I've ever known. I love her so much.'
Michelle and Burton were only engaged for four months before their intimate nuptials, and he 'proved that fairy tale love truly exists.'
'He's like pure sunshine — always uplifting, endlessly caring. His love makes me a better person every single day,' Lundstrom gushed.
'To have the most incredible man I've ever known by my side forever brings me so much peace and happiness. He is the love of my life, and I feel so blessed to call him mine.'
The two-time Daytime Emmy winner invited 45 guests to their seaside reception and candlelight dinner at Montage Laguna Beach, including his General Hospital castmates Jonathan Jackson and Lisa Vultaggio.
Steve's three children - daughter Makena, 21; son Jack, 19; and daughter Brooklyn, 10 - with ex-wife Sheree Amador were in the wedding party as were Michelle's two daughters - Lilah, 14; and Hannah, 10 - from a prior relationship.
'The girls were so excited to wear matching dresses,' Lundstrom said.
'There was always an undeniable, electric connection between' the bride and groom, who had been friends for years before things turned romantic.
The newlyweds are currently honeymooning in Maui following their 'dream-like celebration filled with so much love.'
Steve finalized his divorce from the 48-year-old Fit Club founder in 2023 after 23 years of marriage.
Back in 2022, Burton announced via Instastory that he had separated from Sheree, who was pregnant with her fourth child by Jason Amador, and she's since welcomed daughters Izabella, 2; and Addy, 15 months.
Amador (born Gustin) married the 53-year-old Dark House Motorcars founder on February 7.
An Orange County Superior Court judge ordered the M3 fitness trainer to pay his ex-wife $10K/month in child support for co-parenting their only underage child, 10-year-old daughter Brooklyn - according to People.

Steve has portrayed Jason Morgan on/off between 1991-2012 and 2017-2021 and 2024-2025 on long-running soap opera General Hospital, which airs weekdays on ABC.
Michelle is a full-blown influencer, frequently sharing recipes and doing paid partnerships for brands like Drip EZ, Hal's New York, and Good Culture.
In 2023, Lundstrom was the fifth contestant eliminated off the second season of Netflix competition Barbecue Showdown, which was won by Iowa pitmaster Thyron Mathews.

Met singers' union gets 5% increase partly funded by $5M appropriation from New York state

The Metropolitan Opera and the union for its soloists and chorus announced a one-year agreement Friday on a contract. The agreement calls for a 2.5% wage increase plus an additional temporary 2.5% hike that followed the labor group's assistance in securing a $5 million appropriation in New York state's budget. The deal between the Met and the American Guild of Musical Artists starts Aug. 1 and runs through July 31, 2026. It must be ratified by the union. AGMA also represents dancers, full-time actors, stage managers, stage directors and choreographers. The Met said AGMA helped lobby the state government for the appropriation, and the additional 2.5% rise will sunset when the deal expires. Two other major Met union deals expire July 31, with Local 802 of the American Federation of Musicians, which represents the orchestra, and Local One of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, which represents stagehands.

Nicky Hilton shares an intimate breastfeeding photo as she invests in formula company

Nicky Hilton shared a photo of herself nursing one of her children as she announced her new collaboration on Friday. The heiress, 41, whose sister Paris claims she has a ghost in her mansion, opened up about how difficult breast feeding had been for her in the post. 'I breastfed all three of my children, but it wasn't without its challenges,' she wrote on a post for The 2amClub. 'While I enjoyed the moments of bonding, the latching was often painful,' she revealed, admitting, 'I didn't find breastfeeding as effortlessly as I'd hoped.' She also wrote about the societal pressure to nurse. 'The expectations put on mothers can be overwhelming,' Hilton stated. 'We're just doing our best, and feeding our children - whether through breast feeding or bottle feeding - shouldn't come with guilt or judgement. You have to listen to your body and do what's right for you.' It was apparently her own experiences that resulted in Hilton announcing she was an investor in Narababy. 'Their innovative baby formula, launching this spring, is something I'm truly proud to be a part of,' she wrote next to the post with a link to the new formula company. She encouraged her fellow moms to follow her example and 'Share your feeding confession at Hilton shares daughters Lily-Grace, almost nine, and Theodora, known as Teddy, six, and son Chasen, three with husband James Rothschild, 39. Several fans shared their own experiences. 'Cheers to any mother who can breastfeed. And cheers to all mothers who do what's best to keep their babies fed, no matter what their own emotional preferences are,' commented one follower. 'Don't let anybody tell you what to feed and how to feed your baby,' admonished another. 'Wow, that's so inspiring! Can't wait to see your support making a real difference,' said a fan. According to the Nara Organics website, the new formula is made from organic whole fat cows milk and meet both US and the stricter standards of the European Union. It brags of its product containing 'the most whole milk fat* of any U.S. formula,' offering to make the data available upon request. The company also developed an app that helps expectant moms track 'your body, mood, and medications during your pregnancy journey,' along with 'prenatal and other healthcare appointments' and questions they may have for their healthcare providers. After the baby is born, the app is said to help new parents and their caregivers 'log activities throughout the day.' Those include feeding time, naps, diaper changes and more. The company is building buzz by asking future customers to sign up for a wait list for the product that was supposed to be available in Spring 2025.

Jennifer Garner, 53, reveals whether she has done Botox and if she'll ever get plastic surgery

Jennifer Garner has come clean about what cosmetic procedures she has done. The 53-year-old admitted she has tried Botox. 'I don't do a ton, and Botox doesn't work very well for me; that's why I wear bangs a lot. I like to be able to move my forehead, and it's such a big part of my face. I have, like, a five-head,' she told Harper's Bazaar. 'As far as injectables go, I think just find somebody fantastic and proceed with caution,' she suggested. And she added if she would ever get plastic surgery. 'I haven't needed it yet, but I can't say that I haven't said to doctors before, 'Do I need to do this?' And I've had really nice doctors who have just been like, 'No,'' she shared. 'So, God only knows 10 years from now what the conversation will be. I'm not there yet.' 'My advice is to look at the mirror less and be cautious when it comes to injecting anything into your face,' she told Harper's Bazaar in July 2022 when asked about the advice she'd pass down to her two eldest kids with ex-husband Ben Affleck, 19-year-old Violet and 16-year-old Seraphina. 'Be very, very incredibly judicious and wait as absolutely long as possible to add anything,' she continued. 'Don't think that you're 37 and you need to be shooting up your face.' Garner, who's also a mother to 13-year-old Samuel, has consistently urged young women to embrace getting older. 'Take care of yourself, but don't be scared. Aging is a gift,' she told People last March. And she is happy at 53. 'I don't want to be younger. I'm very grateful to be exactly this age. I'm trying to soak it up. I feel like I'm living in my power. I'm living in my wisdom. I'm living in my joy and my capacity to do and get things done. So I'm just very aware of my luck and the grace that's been shown to me.' And she wants to live long. 'I want to age,' Garner shared. 'I want to live to be 100. I don't expect to look at 100 like I look today.' The 13 Going on 30 star has previously warned fans to be cautious when it comes to injectables. 'My routine at night is to set myself up for the morning; it's all about preparation,' said the ex of Ben Affleck. 'I set up my coffee, my workout, and my workout clothes to make it easy, so I don't have an excuse. I also always wash my face. If I have a lot of makeup on from work, I'll use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover wipes. The brand has compostable ones now that I love. They're the OG. They're the best ones. But I'll still wash my face, because if I have that much makeup on, I want to give it a couple of goes.' This month Jennifer's daughter Violet has been in the news. The 19-year-old was stuck in a hotel room arguing with her mother Garner during the California wild fires. The student opened up about her family's experience of the disaster in an essay written for Yale University's student-run Yale Global Health Review in which Violent revealed her mother was 'astonished' by the destruction in the family's neighborhood of Pacific Palisades back in January. She wrote: 'I spent the January fires in Los Angeles arguing with my mother in a hotel room. She was shell-shocked, astonished at the scale of destruction in the neighborhood where she raised myself and my siblings. 'I was surprised at her surprise: as a lifelong Angelena and climate-literate member of generation Z, my question had not been whether the Palisades would burn but when. 'As I chatted with adults in the hotel where we'd gone to escape the smoke, though, I found my position to be an uncommon one: people spoke of how long rebuilding would take, how much it would cost, and how tragically odd the whole situation had been. 'The crisis was acute, a burst of bad luck. It had come from a combination of high winds and low rains ... ' Violet went on to reveal her younger brother Samuel couldn't understand how climate change could have played a part in the disaster, adding: 'What, my little brother asked, did global warming have to do with the speed of the wind?' She added: 'Hopefully, most of us understand the climate crisis better than my little brother.' The teenager is a student at Davenport College and previously spoke out in favour of using face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during a passionate speech at a Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting last July. During her appearance at the meeting, Violet also made a passionate plea for long COVID to be taken seriously - asking for face masks to be worn in public buildings and for increased availability of testing and treatment. She introduced herself as Violet Affleck, Los Angeles resident, first-time voter and 18.' She went on: 'I contracted a post-viral condition in 2019. I'm OK now, but I saw first-hand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses. The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown that into sharper relief. 'One in 10 infections leads to long COVID, which is a devastating neurological [and] cardiovascular illness that can take away people's ability to work, move, see, and even think.' She added: 'To confront the long COVID crisis, I demand mask availability, air filtration and far-UVC light in government facilities, including jails and detention centres, and mask mandates in county medical facilities. 'We must expand the availability of high-quality free tests and treatment and, most importantly, the county must oppose mask bans for any reason. 'They do not keep us safer, they make vulnerable members of our community less safe and make everyone less able to participate in Los Angeles together. Thank you.' Violet is the eldest daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, who divorced in 2018. The former couple are also parents to younger children Seraphina and Samuel.
