2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards: How to watch Bowen Yang and Matt Roger's first televised LCCAs tonight
'The word 'culture' is defined as 'the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively,'' Rogers and Yang said in a statement.
'We are so thrilled to eliminate that whole 'intellectual' part entirely with the LCCA's airing on Bravo and Peacock this August, alongside our partners at Lionsgate," the pair added. "Because while what the world needs now might be love sweet love, it also needs to see an Oscar-winning actress and a Real Housewife come together to present a very heavy award to Oprah, if we can book her. Oprah, u up?!'
The awards show was prerecorded in July and will feature appearances from Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Franco, Alison Brie, Reneé Rapp, Remi Wolf, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jack Quaid and more. Here's how you can tune in to the 2025 LCCAs.

Kendrick Lamar Adds New Australian Shows With Doechii as Support
Kendrick Lamar is expanding his upcoming run of Australian shows, announcing second stadium dates in both Melbourne and Sydney for his 2025 Grand National Tour. The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper will now perform two nights at Melbourne's AAMI Park (Dec. 3 and Dec. 4) and Sydney's Allianz Stadium (Dec. 10 and Dec. 11), Live Nation confirmed on Tuesday (Aug. 6). The newly added shows will see fellow U.S. artist and Spilt Milk festival alum Doechii join Lamar as support, while original opener ScHoolboy Q will continue in his slot for the first night in each city. More from Billboard Myke Towers & Quevedo Set Charts Ablaze With 'Soleao' Here's Why Fans Think Lil Baby Is Dropping an Album Next Week Justin Bieber Vacations With Wife Hailey & 11-Month-Old Son Jack Blues in Black & White 'Yukon' Music Video The forthcoming shows will be Lamar's first visit to Australia since The Big Steppers Tour in 2022, though unlike his current run of North American dates, they will feature Lamar in solo mode, with two different support acts, as opposed to his co-headlining status with SZA. His return comes off the back of a dominant start to 2025, with his viral diss track 'Not Like Us' becoming the longest-running No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and spending multiple weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. Lamar held three songs in the ARIA Top 10 — 'Not Like Us,' 'Luther,' and 'All the Stars' — reflecting his sustained commercial and cultural impact in the region. Lamar's Australian fanbase has remained strong since his early good kid, m.A.A.d city era, and his 2025 chart success has further amplified interest in his long-awaited return. Industry observers point to a record-breaking run of sold-out shows across North America and Europe. In February, Lamar swept five awards at the 2025 Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for 'Not Like Us.' He also delivered one of the most talked-about performances at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, cementing his place as a defining live performer of his generation. The newly announced Australian shows will cap off an extensive international leg that includes dates in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia throughout September and October, alongside festival appearances. Lamar and Doechii are also set to appear on the 2025 Spilt Milk Festival lineup, performing in Canberra, Ballarat, Perth and the Gold Coast across late November and early December. Presented by Live Nation and pgLang, the Grand National Tour is one of the biggest global touring projects of the year, with an emphasis on high production value, political messaging, and artistic direction that blends music, visuals, and choreography into a multi-layered experience. Tickets for the new Melbourne and Sydney dates go on general sale at 1 p.m. AEST on Monday, Aug. 11 (Melbourne) and 2 p.m. AEST (Sydney) via A 48-hour Vodafone pre-sale begins on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. for Melbourne and 12 p.m. for Sydney. Eddie Palmieri, Legendary Pianist, Composer & Bandleader, Dies at 88
Eddie Palmieri, the Grammy Award-winning pianist, bandleader, musician, and composer of Puerto Rican ancestry who revolutionized Latin jazz and salsa over a more than seven decades career, has died at 88. He passed away Wednesday (August 6) in his New Jersey home, according to a statement posted on his official Instagram account. One of the most influential figures in Latin music history, Palmieri was born Dec. 15, 1936 in Spanish Harlem to Puerto Rican parents and was greatly influenced by his older brother, the pioneering Latin pianist Charlie Palmieri. 'Together, the Palmieri brothers helped define the sound of Latin music in New York City and beyond, each leaving a distinct legacy,' reads the post. More from Billboard Oasis Fan Who Died in Fall at Wembley Concert Named, Family Launch GoFundMe Appeal Lin-Manuel Miranda & Jimmy Fallon Perform 'Hamilton' Medley With Toy Instruments Kendrick Lamar Adds New Australian Shows With Doechii as Support Known for pioneering progressive salsa and Latin jazz, blending American jazz with Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Palmieri founded in 1961 La Perfecta, a band that redefined salsa with its use of trombones in place of trumpets, introducing a new sound that became Palmieri's musical signature. His 1965 classic 'Azúcar Pa' Ti' has been recognized for its cultural significance – in 2009, it was inducted into the Library of Congress of the United States. He also blended Latin music with funk, soul, and socially conscious messaging in his innovative 1971 album Harlem River Drive. On the Billboard charts, Palmieri had seven entries on the Jazz Albums ranking – from Palmas (1994) to Listen Here! (2005) -– and eight entries on Top Tropical Albums, including three top 10s: Obra Maestra: Mastepiece (2000) with Tito Puente, Ritmo Caliente (2003), both of which reached No. 5, and Eddie Palmieri Is Doin' It In The Park: The EP (Soundtrack), which peaked at No. 7. He also had presence on Traditional Jazz Albums (nine entries, two of them in the top 10), Top Latin Albums (one entry at No. 7) and Tropical Airplay (one entry). Winner of the NEA Jazz Masters Award as well as multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards, Palmieri received in 2013 a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Recording Academy. 'It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of maestro Eddie Palmieri, a pioneer of salsa, a visionary of Latin jazz, and an eternal revolutionary of rhythm,' the Latin Recording Academy said on a statement. 'His talent broke barriers, merging tradition with innovation and leaving an indelible mark on generations of musicians and music lovers. […] He always had a deep commitment to culture, and his invaluable contributions cemented him as one of the great pillars of the Latin sound worldwide.' Eddie Palmieri's wife for almost six decades, Iraida Palmieri, whom he lovingly called 'Mi Luz Mayor,' passed away in 2014. He is survived by their five children – daughters Gabriela, Renee, Eydie and Ileana, and son Edward Palmieri II – and four grandchildren. Mark Ruffalo criticizes Joe Rogan for shock over Trump's ICE raids: 'A little late now'
When it comes to politics, Mark Ruffalo isn't the type to mince his words. The Oscar-nominated actor, who's been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration, slammed Joe Rogan after the podcasting sensation shared criticism of the Trump administration's sweeping deportation efforts. In June, several demonstrations erupted across Los Angeles in response to a series of immigration raids. The federal invasions, carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, took place in parts of the city as part of a directive from President Trump to find immigrants living in the United States without legal status. "We were told there would be no, — well, there's two things that are insane," Rogan, 57, told guest and Replit CEO Amjad Masad on a July 2 episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience." "One is the targeting of migrant workers. Not cartel members, not gang members, not drug dealers. Just construction workers. Showing up in construction sites, raiding them. Gardeners. Like, really?" 'It's painful to see': Shakira laments 'constant fear' faced by immigrants Rogan previously shared support for President Trump, endorsing the billionaire businessman in the lead-up to the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Despite Rogan's political grievance, Ruffalo criticized the podcaster for changing his tune on the Republican president. "Dear @joerogan, it's a little late now to pretend like Project 2025 didn't exist and wasn't the playbook all along," wrote Ruffalo in a July 6 Threads post responding to a clip of Rogan's comments. "You are either not that smart or not that dumb. It's hard to tell at this point." 10 bingeable memoirs to check out: Celebrities tell all about aging, marriage and Beyoncé Project 2025, also known as the 2025 Presidential Transition Project, is a political agenda published by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation in April 2023. The mandate suggests overhauling federal agencies like the FBI, abolishing the Department of Education, reversing federal approval of abortion pills and bolstering powers for immigration officials to deport undocumented immigrants. Throughout the 2024 presidential campaign, Trump attempted to distance himself from Project 2025, claiming he knew "nothing" about the controversial plan. But a USA TODAY analysis showed at least 31 of Project 2025's 38 authors or editors had connections to Trump or his first administration. Stars turn out for 'No Kings' protests: Jimmy Kimmel, Mark Ruffalo and more Amid protests against ICE's deportation raids in Los Angeles, Ruffalo joined the political front line and marched in a "No Kings Day" protest in New York. The nationwide rallies against the Trump administration occurred on the same day that the president held a controversial military parade in Washington, marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. "The Avengers" actor delivered a passionate speech at the rally, in which he claimed the Trump administration is "trampling on our rights and our laws and our freedoms." "It's on us, guys. Literally, together, we're the Avengers now," Ruffalo said. "No one's going to come and save us, man. Americans unite."
