Wagle Ki Duniya
fame
Sheehan Kapahi
recently opened up about a heartwarming fan interaction during one of his routine metro rides. In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, the young actor shared how such moments leave a lasting impact on him, emotionally and personally.
'I remember that day so well — I was heading home from shoot, super tired but in a good mood, and took the metro like I usually do,' Sheehan recalled. 'I noticed a few people kinda looking at me, like they were trying to figure out if it was really me. At first, no one said anything, but then one aunty finally came up and asked, 'Are you the boy from Wagle Ki Duniya?' I smiled and said yes, and after that, more people started coming over — asking for pictures, saying such nice things.
'
He added that the kind words from strangers genuinely touched him. 'A few said I remind them of their son, someone said I feel like a younger brother — that stuff always gets me a little emotional. It's crazy to think how something I do on screen can make people feel that connected.'
Sheehan, who's steadily gaining recognition for his
relatable character
on the slice-of-life sitcom, said this isn't the first time such interactions have happened, but each one is special. 'Even though I enjoy doing my own thing — like putting on headphones and zoning out on the metro — it's moments like these that make it all worth it.'
He concluded by expressing gratitude, saying, 'I love hearing people talk about how the show made their day better or how they watch it with their family. It makes me feel really lucky and happy to be a part of something so special.'

Exclusive: Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii actor Akash Makhija gets engaged to childhood friend Roshni; says ‘Some stories aren't planned, they're meant to be'
Actor Akash Makhija, known for his roles in Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii, Har Mard Ka Dard, and films like Half Girlfriend and Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi, has announced his engagement to his childhood friend, Roshni. In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, the actor shared the heartfelt journey that led to this beautiful milestone. 'Roshni and I have known each other since we were kids,' Akash revealed. 'What began as a simple acquaintance through our shared spiritual place — the Sant Nirankari Mission — slowly blossomed into a deep, meaningful friendship. Over the years, she became my closest friend — someone who understood me without explanations.' The bond deepened over a decade of shared memories, faith, and quiet companionship. 'We never imagined that destiny was quietly preparing a love story in the background,' he added. It was during the shoot of his show Gram Chikitsalay in Chhattisgarh that things changed. 'I was away for a month — and that distance made me realise something powerful. I didn't just miss her presence, I missed her. I flew back to Mumbai for just a day, only to see her, and returned the next morning. That's when it hit me — I loved her. And to my surprise, she felt the same.' The engagement took place on May 9 — coinciding with the release of Gram Chikitsalay. 'While one chapter of my dream came true on screen, another was beginning off-screen — with her.' Roshni, a fashion stylist and founder of her label NUR (Noor), designed both their engagement outfits. 'She blended emotion, elegance, and her unique touch into every detail,' Akash beamed. 'I've never been in a relationship before, so this is all new — and incredibly special. In a world where everything feels fleeting, she is the calm, the anchor. She is the thread that holds us together — strong, unbreakable, and full of grace.' Get the latest lifestyle updates on Times of India, along with Eid wishes , messages and quotes !

Exclusive - Narayani Shastri reacts to Smriti Irani's return to acting with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2; says 'I'm very shocked, jisko ek baar acting ka keeda...'
Popular TV actress Narayani Shastri , who was last seen in Aap Jaisa Koi Nahi, is making her television comeback as a negative lead in the upcoming show Noyontara. Excited to return to the small screen, Narayani shared her thoughts about this new chapter. In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, she also spoke about the second season of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Smriti Irani 's return to acting. Speaking about Noyontara and what drew her to the project, Narayani said, "Honestly, the story is very strong and interesting. Our writer Suhana presents female characters very beautifully. Generally, the way female characters are shown in TV shows, her writing is nothing like that. There is no vamp, good and bad, the way she is written is complicated to explain but very challenging to perform. And since I've done a lot of work, I'm always looking for challenges. I found this script on every level very interesting. I was very curious to know about the story, so I felt even the audiences would be excited to know and that's how I usually pick my roles. I am sure the audience will like it." Narayani, who portrayed the character of Kesar in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, shared her thoughts on the upcoming season of the iconic show, which is set to feature the original leads, Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, once again. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo She addressed the buzz around whether she, too, would be a part of the much-awaited revival. "It is a great thing and I'm sure the recall value of the show will be excellent. I wish the team all the luck. I won't be able to do the show as I'm currently doing Noyontara. Also, my character Kesar was introduced much later in the show after one or one and a half years when Smriti was pregnant, to fill the gap. So Delhi bahot durr hai abhi. Right now, I'm very happy doing Noyontara." When asked about her reaction to Smriti Irani's comeback to acting, Narayani shared that she was shocked. "I'm very shocked because she's doing a very good job in politics, kehte hai na jisko ek baar acting ka keeda kaat lete hai toh bada mushkil hota hai, nikalna and she is so good at what she did. She's so talented in front of the camera that her return will definitely bring great value to the show." Mouni Roy wishes Smriti Irani on her birthday, says 'I wanted to be like you then, I wish to be like you now'

Change starts at home, and embracing the three R's should be a way of life, not just a trend. ' Aditya Redij, seen as King Krishnadevraya in Tenali Rama, emphasized traditional values. 'Portraying a wise ruler has shown me how deeply our ancestors respected nature. In today's fast-paced world, we must revive that balance. World Environment Day is a call to action—let's choose sustainability for our future.' Vrihi Kodvara, the young Swara from Pushpa Impossible, shared a simple yet powerful message.
