The model, 32, announced on Instagram, alongside a wholesome maternity shoot with her two sons, that she and husband Joshua Kushner are expecting a daughter

More than four months after announcing that she's expecting her third baby with husband Joshua Kushner, the 32-year-old model and mother of two revealed on Instagram that the pair will be welcoming a daughter.
Kloss' announcement came in the form of a caption for a wholesome maternity photo shoot, featuring her two sons. "Countdown to baby girl with my favorite boys 💕," Kloss captioned the photos, subtly dropping the sex of her next baby.
Kloss and Kushner, 40, are already parents to sons Levi, 4, and Elijah, 2.

Several fellow models, friends and fans showed love to Kloss in the post's comments section, including Mariska Hargitay, Linda Evangelista, author Elaine Welteroth and actress Amber Valletta.
"My beautiful friend 💗💗💗," Welteroth commented under the images, snapped by photographer Rachel Artime.
In the photos, Kloss could be seen with the baby bump on full display, as she wore matching blue jeans and a white long-sleeve shirt with her two boys. One image featured Kloss holding her sons close, while another showed her youngest playing off to the side with a toy firetruck as she stared at him lovingly.
The model also uploaded a few behind-the-scenes looks at the shoot to her Instagram Stories, including one of her giving her boys a squeeze.
Kloss announced her pregnancy back in March, when she shared a close-up snap of her stomach to Instagram and another pic of her two boys hugging, along with the caption "Three's a party 🥹🫶🎉."
Since sharing the baby news, Kloss has been busy celebrating a few additional motherhood milestones — including Elijah's second birthday earlier this month. For the occasion on July 11, Kloss posted a handful of snaps to Instagram, showing herself and Kushner spending quality time with their youngest, their son interacting with a pup and an adorable look at her two boys holding hands.
"2 years of pure joy with our sweet little Elijah🥹❤️✨ Happy birthday, my love 💫," she captioned the photos.
The Kode with Klossy founder caught up with PEOPLE about motherhood in November 2023, when she revealed that one thing that she couldn't control during her pregnancy with Elijah was her posture. "Just being pregnant for nine months, I found my posture got so bad," she shared. "So now I'm relearning my whole anatomy and trying to fix it, straighten my back."
"My [fitness] routine has evolved," Kloss added. "It's gotten more efficient. I feel like my philosophy has gotten much more about strength in sustainable ways. So I do light weights and also body weight exercises. I travel a lot still, so I don't always have a gym nearby."

Restoration at Chicago's Auditorium Theatre uncovers treasure trove of historical items
The historic Auditorium Theatre in Chicago is between productions and undergoing some important restoration work, which in turn has revealed pieces of its storied past. CEO Rich Regan and his team are committed to preserving the historic building. "We're in a constant state of restoration," he said. The latest project involves restoring the atrium and stained glass windows, which Regan said they know hasn't been touched since 1967. And the project has provided some unexpected entertainment. When workers removed a section of seats to put up scaffolding, they found what the audience left behind decades — even centuries — ago. The treasures include a Chicago Herald newspaper from 1889, extremely brittle but still readable, and old programs from shows like Ballet Russe dating back to 1936., when you could buy a Buick for the cost of what is now a monthly car payment. There's even a 57-year-old ballet ticket; a seat to see the New York City Ballet at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 1967. "From the imagery to the advertisements, the composer, the show time – all of those factors really catapult you back in time to that moment," Regan said. Who knows what history might be hiding under every other seat in the house.

‘A damn good start': Grateful Dead reflect on 60th anniversary at Golden Gate Park
In the wake of a sold-out, three-night run in Golden Gate Park commemorating the Grateful Dead's 60th anniversary, the band's surviving members and collaborators took to social media to reflect on what may have been the group's final bow. 'Night 3 in Golden Gate Park... will be one we'll never forget,' guitarist John Mayer posted on Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 5. The musician also recalled his first onstage collaboration with Phish's Trey Anastasio. 'The lock we had going was instant,' Mayer wrote. 'Trey's ear-to-fretboard data transfer time is unparalleled.' Mayer, who joined original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann in 2015 to form Dead & Company, has long acknowledged the legacy he stepped into. 'I'll never come close to playing like Jerry Garcia,' he acknowledged. 'But if I can somehow get you closer to him... then I suppose I've done my job.' The anniversary shows on Friday-Sunday, Aug. 1–3, coinciding with what would have been Garcia's 83rd birthday. Each night featured entirely different setlists and a rotating cast of guest acts, including Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpson (performing as Johnny Blue Skies) and Anastasio. Though billed as a celebration, the weekend also carried a palpable sense of closure. Drummer Hart called the experience 'truly profound.' 'I saw 60,000 people sparking light, in love, (entertained) big time and coming our way,' he wrote in a post on Wednesday, Aug. 6. 'Different than applause after a song, it sounded more like an ahhhhhh. All the peace and love in proximity generated a collective energy that was shared by all. Very rare stuff indeed.' Hart also shared a surreal vision of lost bandmates, Garcia, Ron 'Pigpen' McKernan and most recently Phil Lesh. 'I saw Jerry and Phil and Pigpen hovering over the crowd smiling like Cheshire cats,' he wrote. 'All the peace and love in proximity generated a collective energy that was shared by all.' Hart continued, 'In the final moments of the weekend standing right next to Bob and feeling the raw emotion coming our way from our fans, I felt Bob's heartbeat, along with mine, and the deep connection we have with all of you. All the years combine. They melt into a dream.' Weir, the band's rhythm guitarist and one of two original members who performed this weekend, was characteristically succinct: '60 years… I'd say that's a damn good start.' Kreutzmann, who stepped away from touring in 2023, offered a message from afar. 'Thank you for celebrating 60 years of not just Grateful Dead music, but also Grateful Dead community, friendships and love,' he wrote Monday, Aug. 4. 'We will survive.' Though Dead & Company concluded its official farewell tour at Oracle Park in 2023, this weekend's homecoming — in the city where the band first took shape — felt like a more fitting epilogue. Tens of thousands of fans packed Golden Gate Park, flooding the surrounding streets in a celebration as much about the music as the enduring spirit it created. 'Happy 60th, Grateful Dead,' Mayer wrote. 'And long may you run.'
