Travis Decker Manhunt: Police Share New Evidence in Daughters' Murders

Originally appeared on E! Online Authorities are sharing more information surrounding Travis Decker's case. Over two months after the bodies of his and ex-wife Whitney Decker's daughters Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5, were discovered at a campground in Leavenworth, Wash., police have linked the patriarch's DNA to the plastic bags used to kill the girls, whose causes of death were determined to be suffocation, per the autopsies completed by the Medical Examiner. 'Two of the victims each had two separate bags over their heads and the third victim had three separate bags over their head,' the Chelan County Sheriff's Office said in an Aug. 19 press release shared to Facebook. 'In addition, several cable ties were located on the ground in the immediate area of the bodies. These plastic bags and cable ties were collected that night by the Washington State Patrol Crime Response Team.' After sending this evidence for DNA analysis, authorities said that they believe Travis—who is wanted on first-degree charges of murder and kidnapping—is the 'only suspect involved in committing these homicides.' 'DNA profiles matching Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia Decker were also located on the plastic bags. No other DNA profiles were obtained from the plastic bags.' Regarding the cable ties found at the scene, the police department added, 'One DNA profile was obtained from the cable ties collected at the scene. That DNA sample matched the profile for Travis Decker. No other DNA profiles were obtained from the cable ties.' The sheriff's office, who has previously described Travis, 32, as "well versed in wilderness survival and capable of spending days or even weeks in the wilderness on his own and with very little equipment,' also confirmed that their search efforts for the army veteran continue. 'Decker's whereabouts remain unknown,' the statement concluded. 'At this time, we do not have any evidence to suggest Travis Decker is either alive or deceased.' Teen Mom 's Jenelle Evans Addresses Explosive Texts to Her Son Jace

Originally appeared on E! Online is shedding some light on her and 's rocky relationship. Hours after her 16-year-old son shared screenshots of their heated text exchange on social media, the Teen Mom alum insisted that the eyebrow-raising messages she sent him were taken out of context. 'My children are my whole world,' Jenelle, who shares Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, wrote on her Instagram Stories Aug. 19. 'Everything I do is to try and protect, guide and love them.' 'Like any parent, I set rules and boundaries, and sometimes that isn't easy,' she continued. 'Jace posting our private texts was his reaction to being rightfully disciplined and while it hurts to see those moments shared publicly, I know it comes from a place of struggle.' Alleging that her son has also 'been in trouble with the law these past few months,' Jenelle—who is also mom to Kaiser, 11, with ex Nathan Griffith as well as daughter Ensley, 8, with ex —went on to share an update on the teenager's mental health journey. 'I will always stand by him, no matter what challenges come our way, and I will continue to work on being the best mom I can be to all three of my kids.' As for what the explosive texts said? Well, Jace shared a series of conversations between the two that he claimed demonstrate how 'unstable' his mother is. 'You're the one saying you're going to have my custody taken,' Jenelle wrote in one of the texts, per Jace's Instagram Stories. 'F--K YOU. You won't get a damn thing from me anymore including a phone.' In a separate screenshot, she seemingly implied that her son lied about his previous abuse allegations against David. (David was indicted by a grand jury on child abuse charges, which he's denied in posts on social media, last January. The case is still pending.) 'Just like the way you lied about David strangling you,' she wrote in a message to her son. 'You make things worse on yourself.' The latest update comes one month after Jenelle shared that Jace had moved back in with her after a few weeks living with his dad due to ongoing behavioral problems. "Jace, he's doing good, he's back at home, he's not living with his father," she told People at the time. "He'll be starting 11th grade. And he's just been, you know, he's been getting into skateboarding recently, so that's his thing." And the reality star, who added that he had been home "for a few months now," couldn't help but reflect on her son's growth over the years. "It's really crazy because you see the transition from a little boy to a young man, and he'll be 16 in August, and it's just really crazy," she continued. "It just flies by so quick. So I'm just really cherishing every moment I can before he turns 18 and decides to leave." For more of Jenelle's life, keep reading. Emmanuel Haro Case: Authorities Seize Dad's Vehicle Amid Investigation

Originally appeared on E! Online Authorities are sharing updates on the search for Emmanuel Haro. Nearly one week after Rebecca Haro reported her 7-month-old son's kidnapping from a California parking lot, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department confirmed that they had seized a car from the family. The Sheriff's Department told E! News that detectives had collected husband Jake Haro's car on Aug. 19 as evidence amid the ongoing investigation, following "inconsistencies" in Rebecca's story. E! News has reached out to Jake's attorney for comment and has not yet heard back. Rebecca alleged that she was attacked in a Big 5 Sporting Goods store parking lot in Yucaipa, about 70 miles east of Los Angeles, on Aug. 14, while changing Emmanuel's diaper. "I took him out of the car seat and laid him on the chair," she told NBC Los Angeles on Aug. 17. "I had his diapers here, and someone said, 'Hola.' I couldn't turn, and I don't remember nothing. I got up from the floor and didn't see my child. Someone took him from me." More from E! "Investigators interviewed multiple individuals, including Emmanuel's parents Jake and Rebecca Haro," the Sheriff's Department shared in an Aug. 16 press release. "During those interviews, Rebecca was confronted with inconsistencies in her initial statement and declined to continue with the interview." Authorities noted that due to the information they'd received, "investigators are unable to rule out foul play in the disappearance of Emmanuel." A closer look at the Haro household uncovered Jake's June 2023 felony conviction for child cruelty from a 2018 arrest, according to Riverside County Superior Court records obtained by The Orange County Register. He was ultimately sentenced to 180 days in jail and 48 months of probation. Despite authorities sharing that Rebecca "declined to continue with the interview" in connection with Emmanuel's disappearance, per the county's press release, Jake's legal counsel Vincent Hughes asserted that his client is more than willing to work with officials. "I'm telling you right now, Ashleigh, on national news," he told Ashleigh Banfield on NewsNation's Banfield Aug. 19, "if the San Marino County Sheriff's Department would like to speak with Jake Haro, we can make that happen tonight. I'm telling you that." For more information on other disappearances, keep reading. JonBenét RamseyNicole Brown Simpson & Ron GoldmanTupac ShakurNotorious AnthonyElizabeth Short a.k.a.
