Chiefs have most primetime games, followed by Cowboys
The Chiefs and Cowboys are ratings draws. That's why they play on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day this season.
It also is why they both have so many standalone games.
The Chiefs will play eight standalone games, including seven primetime games. Five of their primetime games come in the first eight weeks.

The Cowboys also have eight standalone games, including six primetime games.
The teams play each other on Thanksgiving Day at AT&T Stadium in Arlington in Patrick Mahomes' first NFL game where he makes his offseason home. On Christmas Day, the Chiefs host the Broncos, and the Cowboys travel to the Commanders.
The Dolphins, Falcons, Lions, Eagles, Commanders, Bills, Chargers and 49ers each have five primetime games.
The Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, Texans, Broncos, Packers, Vikings, Bucs, Rams and Seahawks each got four.
The Giants, Raiders, Patriots and Bears will be on primetime three times each.
The Jets and Cardinals have two primetime appearances each, and the Colts, Jaguars and Panthers each received one primetime game.
The Browns, Saints and Titans are not scheduled to play in primetime.

Taumoepenu (6-2, 250 pounds) signed with the Broncos in 2021, and after failing to make the active roster out of training camp, he spent the season on the team's practice squad. He is a journeyman pass rusher who has spent time with six NFL teams and now plays for the UFL's St. Louis Battlehawks. Taumoepenu, 31, had a dominant spring season, leading the league with 7.5 sacks. He also totaled 27 tackles (five behind the line), three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one pass breakup in nine games. Following that impressive season, Taumoepenu was named to the 2025 All-UFL Team. Another former Broncos pass rusher, Andre Mintze, ranked fourth in the UFL with 5.5 sacks in nine games. He signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt in 2021 and initially made the 53-man roster before landing on injured reserve. Mintze went to training camp with the Minnesota Vikings in 2022 and has been playing spring football since 2023 with the DC Defenders. Elsewhere in the UFL, running back Nate McCrary, who had a brief stint with the Broncos in 2021, rushed for 380 yards (fifth-most in the league) and two touchdowns this spring. Former Broncos quarterbacks Kevin Hogan and Case Cookus both started three games. Cookus totaled 546 passing yards and threw five touchdown passes. Hogan had 500 yards and two scores. Jarrett Guarantano only made one appearance with 29 yards and no scores. Ex-Denver punters Colby Wadman (1,335 yards) and Marquette King (1,709 yards) played the full 10-game season. King averaged 47.5 yards per punt with a long of 69 yards and eight kicks downed inside the 20-yard line. Wadman averaged 46.0 yards per boot with a long of 68 yards and 11 kicks downed inside the 20. The UFL will hold conference final games on Sunday featuring the Michigan Panthers against the Birmingham Stallions, and the DC Defenders taking on the St. Louis Battlehawks. The winners of those matchups will face off in the UFL's final on June 14. Following the championship game, NFL teams will be allowed to sign UFL players. Promising to take viewers behind the scenes of Lamb's 2024 offseason and the tumultuous 7-10 regular season that followed, the kickoff episode focused on Lamb's summer-long holdout and ended with his agreeing to a four-year, $135 million deal to keep him wearing the star. The deal included a $38 million signing bonus and $1 million initial base salary, but Lamb is quick to point out in the episode's exclusive interview clips that it wasn't easy playing hardball and skipping training camp for the first time ever. "Honestly, it was the worst," Lamb explained. "It was the worst ever. Do you hear me? Like, for those who know me, they know how serious I take this football stuff, you know what I'm saying? Like, with everything in me. I put pride, body, mind, soul, everything I got into winning and the result of it. And obviously, preparation that goes into it, you know? And for me to miss out on the right preparation with my team, my quarterback, my guys, just building those bonds off the field, whatever the case may be, you know what I'm saying? Like, I missed out on that." The 2020 first-round draft pick ended up sitting out the Cowboys' entire training camp in Oxnard, Calif. He rejoined his team just 12 days before the season opener in Cleveland and only after the Dallas front office made him the second-highest-paid non-QB in league history. But Friday's episode also documented some of the back and forth that went on, with negotiations between the two sides often playing out rather contentiously over the airwaves and social media. As told strictly from Lamb's point of view, the nine-minute video featured plenty of TV analysts arguing that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones should just write the check to bring Lamb back into the fold. It also acknowledged the legions of Cowboys fans who were similarly voicing their support in the comments sections of online posts. At one point, the voice of former NFL Network host Peter Schrager can be heard referencing an early-August comment by Jones in which the billionaire said he didn't have "any urgency" in signing the then three-time Pro Bowler. "Yeah, that was a dagger," Lamb says glumly as he watches the report. But a deal was finally brought to fruition just days later, and the episode ends with Lamb celebrating his life-changing contract and preparing to fly out to meet his teammates in late August.
