
Police Arrests Man In Badshah's Club Blast, Linked To Gangster Goldy Brar
The arrest was made in Delhi.
Deepak, a resident of Faridkot, Punjab, was reportedly in close contact with notorious gangster Goldy Brar, who had earlier claimed responsibility for the attack.
On November 26, two explosions occurred outside two clubs in Chandigarh - the Seville Bar and Lounge, owned by singer and rapper Badshah, and De Orra Club, owned by local businessmen. CCTV footage of the explosions showed a man throwing crude bombs at the clubs before running away. The explosions shattered the establishments' glass windows.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Hours after the incident, Goldy Brar, linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the blast in a purported Facebook post.
The post, which could not be verified by NDTV, had said that Brar and another member of the gang, Rohit Godara, were responsible for the two explosions.
Two people were arrested on November 29, 2024 in the blast case following an encounter in Haryana's Hisar district. The encounter took place during a joint operation by the Chandigarh police and the Haryana Special Task Force (STF).
During the encounter, both the accused were injured after being shot in the leg. Subsequently, they were arrested and taken to a hospital for treatment.
The accused were identified as Vinay (20) and Ajit Sehrawat (21), residents of Hisar.

Senior citizen from Wadala loses savings to cyber fraud after ordering milk online
Mumbai: A senior citizen from Wadala was defrauded of Rs18.5 lakhs by cyber fraudsters after attempting to order a litre of milk through an online delivery app. The Central Cyber Police registered the case on August 16 after the 71-year-old woman discovered that her entire life savings had been siphoned from her three bank accounts. The fraudsters transferred the money from the senior citizen's bank accounts within two days. "On August 4, the woman received a call from a man identifying himself as Deepak, an executive from the milk company, who sent a link to her mobile phone number asking her to furnish her details to order milk. The team is tracking down the bank accounts to which the money was transferred," said a Central Cyber Police officer. In the complaint, the elderly woman stated: "I was instructed to click on the link without disconnecting the call and follow further instructions. As the call went on for more than an hour, I got bored and decided to hang up. The next day, I received a phone call from the same person, who gathered more details from me. I learned Rs1.7 lakhs siphoned from one of my accounts when I visited the bank."
