As I lay dying in a car crash I saw HELL – screaming souls were grabbing for me but I'm not afraid to go back

A WOMAN who nearly died after her car flew off the road claims she discovered Hell as she passed over into the other side.
There she saw "souls screaming and reaching for help" - and isn't afraid to experience is again.

Yoga Premananda, as she's known, nearly met her demise after making plans to meet up with a friend to go partying in Vegas.
Deciding to do the trip alone, the 51-year-old holistic energy healer recalls feeling "euphoric" and lost track of where she was going - and her speed.
While on an empty desert road, with nobody else around, her attention kicked back in and suddenly, a feeling of dread washed over her.
She struggled to breathe and before she knew it, her car flew off the road.
Yoga said: 'I started gasping for air. I had never felt anything like this before in my whole life.
'As I was dying, I saw my legs crushed under the steering wheel.'
Recalling her discovery of Hell, Yoga, from Florida, US, said she entered a cold and dark room before landing in a "terrifying" pit.
She says a shadow figure was present, along with a never-ending ceiling, and that there was a strong smell of smoke.
Yoga was then greeted by Archangel Raphael – a prominent healing figure across multiple religions – who challenged her.
And suddenly, she was in the "waiting room" for Heaven.
Woman reveals what 'heaven is like' after near-death experience from choking
'I wasn't scared, but I didn't know what I was doing in the Hell realm,' said Yoga.
'There was a spinning pyre of flames, with souls hanging off it, screaming and reaching for help.
'The shadow figures around me wondered who I was.
'And the whole room's dimensions were odd; the walls were shadows and they felt cold, yet hot; dry, yet wet.
'I wasn't even thinking about my body back on Earth.
'When Archangel Raphael appeared, he was wearing dark sunglasses, a long dark trench coat and a black hat.
'Suddenly, I was beamed into a waiting room for Heaven in a split second.
'I felt very normal and quite comfortable.
'When I reached the other side, I was relieved – it was like home.'
Before entering Heaven, she went into a long white tunnel with other souls that were coming and going.
Archangel Raphael then made the decision on if you got to dance with God or the Devil.
She said: 'He was sitting at a desk going through and stamping papers with information of the souls.
'There was a bright and light energy around it; the total opposite to what I thought Hell was like.
'No one used words, but we still communicated.
'A familiar feeling came over me as some souls went to the end of the tunnel – and I knew I wasn't supposed to go there.
'I still had my physical body, whereas other souls were just orbs of light passing through.'

When it was her turn to approach Archangel Raphael, he stamped her ticket and reversed the crash.
Yoga said: 'He got the okay from God to save my life.
'When I went back into my physical body, my car was miraculously on the road with no scratches or bumps.
'It was like a scene from a movie.
'I was filled with purpose and the information I had received rearranged my body.
'A piece of my brain had been activated – and the process was complete.'
Yoga, scared, turned the car around and headed back home.
She said: 'I feel as if a higher power got me back safely that day.
'I hadn't realised the breath and depth of what had happened to me.
'I felt between worlds, like a part of me was still in Heaven's waiting room.
'A few weeks later, I struggled to breathe while driving again and I rushed to the hospital.'
Doctors tried to prescribe her anti- anxiety medication, but she says a voice full of wisdom spoke internally and urged her to leave.
Now, this voice guides her each and every day and she's since gone on to achieve several certificates in healing, detox and cleansing as part of her new path.
Yoga uses her journey to help other people understand their near death experiences through her work as a holistic healer.
She added: 'God chose to save my life and send me back here to have a beautiful journey.
'People say I seem different; but it's just the new me.

'I've had to deal with insomnia, anxiety and mental fog due to everything not making sense anymore.
'I haven't touched any drug, alcohol, caffeine, medicine or animal-based products since to cleanse my body.
'But I've come to learn that what we do on Earth is backwards.
'This reality here isn't our only reality – or our permanent one.
'Hell taught me a lot; I learned the importance of compassion for others.
'I'm not fearful about experiencing it again and I'm happy to have been able to escape the boxes we create for ourselves that only hurt us in the long run.
'People need to wake up so we can get as close as possible to our true nature before it's too late.'
What is a near-death experience?
A near-death experience (NDE) is a profound, personal experience reported by individuals who have been close to death or in a life-threatening situation.
These experiences often involve vivid, unusual, and realistic sensations and perceptions that can include out-of-body experiences, feelings of peace and well-being, seeing a bright light, and encountering deceased loved ones or other beings.
Key features of near-death experiences
Out-of-body experiences: Individuals may feel detached from their physical body, observing the scene from a different perspective.
Tunnel vision and bright light: Many report moving through a dark tunnel toward a bright light.
Feelings of peace and well-being: NDEs are often described as intensely positive, with feelings of serenity, love, and joy.
Life review: Some individuals report a rapid review of their past life events.
Encountering others: People may encounter deceased loved ones, religious figures, or other beings.
Possible explanations
While there isn't a universally accepted scientific explanation for NDEs, some theories suggest they may be related to:
Physiological changes
Possible changes in brain activity during periods of oxygen deprivation or stress could contribute to the experiences.
Psychological responses
The mind might generate these experiences as a coping mechanism in the face of death.
Spiritual interpretations
Some individuals interpret NDEs as evidence of an afterlife or a connection to a higher power.

Sophie Turner keeps her distance during tense reunion with ex Joe Jonas and his family for daughter's birthday

Sophie Turner appeared to keep her distance as she reunited with her ex-husband Joe Jonas and his family for their eldest daughter's birthday this week. Turner, 29, and Jones, 35, got together for co-parenting purposes in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, July 22 to celebrate their eldest daughter Willa's fifth birthday. In addition to Willa, the exes also share their three-year-old daughter Delphine, whom they welcomed together in July 14, 2022 and also recently celebrated her birthday. Turner and Jonas have rarely been seen together publicly since their dramatic 2023 divorce, which was finalized last year. Tuesday's gathering also marked the first public sighting of Turner — who recently rekindled her romance with boyfriend Peregrine Pearson — with her ex's family since their separation. However, at one point during the reunion, the Game of Thrones actress was spotted standing far away from Jonas' brothers and their respective wives as she answered a video call. Despite the apparent tension, they all appeared to be cordial as they all follow one another on social media. However, for almost two years, Turner and her former sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra have seemingly been distant after they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted any posts with each other. They were all seen together at Joe's condo in Miami, relaxing on the balcony and enjoying late afternoon drinks under the Florida sun. Joe was spotted with his brother Nick Jonas and his wife Chopra as well as Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle Jonas as they chatted and played around on one side of the balcony. And Turner stayed on the far end, on the other corner of her ex's balcony by herself as she caught up with someone on the phone. For Willa's birthday party, the mother-of-two looked effortlessly chic as she modeled a black, floor-length maxi dress. Her strawberry blonde tresses were pulled back into a messy ponytail and she appeared to be wearing little-to-no makeup as she soaked up the sun. Meanwhile, Joe sported a gray graphic T-shirt paired with white jeans and a black baseball cap. His younger brother Nick, 32, wore a dark button-down shirt paired with matching shorts. Chopra, 43, wore a black and white, patterned jumpsuit with white, cat-eye sunglasses for her summer attire. Previously, Joe filed for divorce from his then-wife Turner after four years of marriage. Since their separation, she has been romantically linked to Peregrine 'Perry' Pearson. Recently, she and her aristocrat were rumored to have called it quits after two years, but they reconciled their romance just weeks later. Most recently, they were spotted together at Glastonbury. They were last spotted putting on a very affectionate display and kissing while in London on July 9, per People. Gazer review – ineffably creepy and unbearably tense noir chiller

Here is a paranoid noir chiller from the US, shot on 16mm on the mean streets of Jersey City; it is a fascinating debut for first-time feature director Ryan J Sloan that premiered at Cannes last year and is now getting its much-deserved UK release. A genuine skin-crawling unease seeps out of the screen for every second of its running time, helped by a brooding, moaning electronic score by Steve Matthew Carter. This ineffably creepy, often unbearably tense and disquieting film has a little of early Christopher Nolan (the Nolan of Following and Memento), with hints of Lynch and Cronenberg in its hallucinatory episodes. Sloan's co-writer and partner Ariella Mastroianni (reportedly a very distant relative of Marcello) stars as Frankie, a woman living on the edge of poverty, suffering from the neurogenerative disorders ataxia and dyschronometria. This means that she is disoriented and cannot accurately judge the passing of time, a condition she attempts to manage by listening to 30-minute tapes on an old-fashioned Sony Walkman, and by gazing in at the windows of total strangers. Her pinched, sharp, intelligent and discontented face dominates the screen; she radiates suppressed anguish and rage at everything that has happened and will happen to her, and at the idea that her condition means she will have to resign herself to an assisted living facility. The scene in which a harassed doctor puts this to her is itself a masterly set piece of grimness. Her husband apparently took his own life some time ago, an ambiguous event which recurs to her in vivid nightmares – was she somehow responsible? – which means Frankie is now legally obliged to let her young daughter be looked after by her glowering mother-in-law. At a therapy group for those who have lost loved ones to suicide, Frankie meets a mysteriously intense young woman (Renee Gagner) whom she remembers seeing in a window, and who puts to her a strange proposition; she says she is being abused and bullied by her aggressive cop brother (Jack Alberts) and needs to get away from their shared apartment, but he is keeping her car keys. If Frankie will break into the apartment and get them, and drive her car to the remote Jersey wetlands, she can have $3,000. But can Frankie do this without zoning out, or suffering one of her 'flashforward' episodes where hours can suddenly go past in an instant? Gazer's atmosphere of looming disaster and dreamlike oppression crowds in on you as the movie progresses; an intriguing, genuinely scary picture. Gazer is in UK cinemas from 25 July.

Post your questions for Stephen King

If you've ever worried that you haven't done enough with your life, then perhaps don't look at the CV (or résumé, as he'd put it) of the American author Stephen King. Over the past 50 years, the 77-year-old horror, thriller, science fiction and fantasy writer has penned 65 novels and more than 200 short stories. Even if you've never read a Stephen King book in your life, the chances are you've seen a film adaptation of one of his works: be it Stanley Kubrick's The Shining starring Jack Nicolson (1980); The Shawshank Redemption with Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman (1994); Misery starring Kathy Bates (1990); The Green Mile with Tom Hanks (1999); or It starring Bill Skarsgård (2017). Even Stand by Me (1986) with River Phoenix and Corey Feldman was based on King's novella The Body. It's hard to know where to even start when it comes to asking him about his life and career. Which is why we're giving you plenty of time to get in your questions as King prepares to take the reader interview chair for an expanded edition ahead of the release of The Life of Chuck starring Tom Hiddleston, based on his 2020 novella. His only notes so far are: no 'lemon' questions, such as where he gets his ideas from. But where does he get his ideas from? How does he feel about being one of the bestselling US authors of all time? Does he really suffer from triskaidekaphobia – an irrational fear of the number 13? And does he really hate interviews as much as he says he does? Please pose your questions in the comments below by 6pm on Monday 4 August and we'll print his best replies in G2 and online later that month – but not on the 13th, we promise, Stephen.
