Ayden Heaven tells Man Utd to copy infamous tactic he saw Arsenal develop
Ayden Heaven saw Arsenal's set-piece prowess develop first-hand during his time at the Gunners, and he now wants to bring it to Manchester United Ayden Heaven says Manchester United need to copy Arsenal's ruthlessness when it comes to scoring from set-pieces. The Gunners scored 22 goals from set-pieces in the Premier League last season on their way to finishing runners-up to champions Liverpool. Defender Heaven joined United from Arsenal in January for £1.5million and says he wants to emulate the goalscoring exploits of former team-mates Gabriel and William Saliba. 'I watched them very closely, the likes of Saliba and Gabriel,' said Heaven. 'I learned a lot from them. 'You can see they're quite good in the air, aren't they, from corners. I've said in the past I want to score more, and I'm working on that. That's what I want to add to my game, scoring from set pieces.' Heaven, 18, had a run of starts for United last season before an injury at Leicester sidelined him, although he returned towards the end of the campaign. United boss Ruben Amorim has huge faith in the versatile centre-back and Heaven intends to make his mark in the upcoming season and stake his claim for a regular starting place. 'I just want to focus on the basics at the moment, and getting in the United team for the new season,' said Heaven. 'I'm really happy. I played in the last couple of games of the season, I've played more than I probably expected and I've done well in them. 'I was surprised at the amount of games I played, but I knew when I was going to play, I was going to make an impact. 'I can play in the middle, on the left, but the left probably more suits me more because of my ability with the ball. 'I can drive with the ball, I can overlap if I'm needed to and I can get forward more. That's one of my biggest strengths.' The Rain in España couple Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo's breakup confirmed months after Instagram unfollow; fans heartbroken
It's official. Fan-favourite Filipino love team Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo, who won hearts with their undeniable chemistry in The Rain in España, have broken up. After months of silence and subtle hints, Heaven has finally confirmed the split. The two, who were also romantically involved off-screen, had become a go-to pairing in local rom-coms, with fans rooting hard for their real-life relationship. Heaven confirms breakup from The Rain in España co-star Marco Gallo In a recent interview with journalist MJ Marfori, Heaven opened up about the breakup, saying it was a mutual decision. 'We're not together anymore. It was a mutual decision to move forward individually, so we're okay. We're good friends,' she said. She also expressed her hope that their supporters would continue backing both of them, even if they're now walking separate paths. Despite the breakup, she assured fans that she and Marco will still work together professionally, adding that friendship was always the foundation of their connection. Signs were there: From unfollows to photo wipes While the confirmation only came recently, breakup rumours had been swirling since early June. Fans first noticed that Heaven had quietly unfollowed Marco on Instagram and removed nearly all their photos together. Meanwhile, Marco still follows Heaven and still has pictures of her on his account, which only added to the speculation and confusion. For a couple that once made their relationship public with a sweet birthday post back in November 2024 and had never been shy to express their love, this felt heartbreaking. However, even after the split, they pulled up to an event together this month like it was no big deal, proving there's no bad blood between them. Fans react with heartbreak and support The news has sent shockwaves through their fanbase, with many expressing sadness over the end of a pairing that brought them so much joy. Their on-screen chemistry and real-life connection had made them one of the most beloved tandems in recent years. "I actually loved them so much together," one fan wrote, while another mentioned, "They are one of my favourites, but still we don't know what happened, so we can't judge. Let's just hope for good for both of them." "They were the bestestttttt; they grew up together, but life—idk what happened between them, but it's heartbreaking," a third fan mentioned, and a fourth shared the same sentiments, writing, "It was already rumoured they have broken up, but hearing it directly from her is hard, but it's for real." What made The Rain in España such a hit? Based on the viral Wattpad series by Gwy Saludes, The Rain in España (2023) follows college sweethearts Luna and Kalix, whose love is tested by ambition, misunderstandings, and time. The story resonated with Gen Z audiences thanks to its relatable characters, campus setting, and heartfelt lines that took over social media. The show's massive popularity boosted both Heaven and Marco's careers, turning them into household names and unofficial sweethearts of the new-age Wattpad-to-screen boom. It also helped revive the campus-romance genre in Filipino dramas and gave fans a reason to believe in love stories, both fictional and real.

As I lay dying in a car crash I saw HELL – screaming souls were grabbing for me but I'm not afraid to go back
A WOMAN who nearly died after her car flew off the road claims she discovered Hell as she passed over into the other side. There she saw "souls screaming and reaching for help" - and isn't afraid to experience is again. 8 8 Yoga Premananda, as she's known, nearly met her demise after making plans to meet up with a friend to go partying in Vegas. Deciding to do the trip alone, the 51-year-old holistic energy healer recalls feeling "euphoric" and lost track of where she was going - and her speed. While on an empty desert road, with nobody else around, her attention kicked back in and suddenly, a feeling of dread washed over her. She struggled to breathe and before she knew it, her car flew off the road. Yoga said: 'I started gasping for air. I had never felt anything like this before in my whole life. 'As I was dying, I saw my legs crushed under the steering wheel.' Recalling her discovery of Hell, Yoga, from Florida, US, said she entered a cold and dark room before landing in a "terrifying" pit. She says a shadow figure was present, along with a never-ending ceiling, and that there was a strong smell of smoke. Yoga was then greeted by Archangel Raphael – a prominent healing figure across multiple religions – who challenged her. And suddenly, she was in the "waiting room" for Heaven. Woman reveals what 'heaven is like' after near-death experience from choking 'I wasn't scared, but I didn't know what I was doing in the Hell realm,' said Yoga. 'There was a spinning pyre of flames, with souls hanging off it, screaming and reaching for help. 'The shadow figures around me wondered who I was. 'And the whole room's dimensions were odd; the walls were shadows and they felt cold, yet hot; dry, yet wet. 'I wasn't even thinking about my body back on Earth. 'When Archangel Raphael appeared, he was wearing dark sunglasses, a long dark trench coat and a black hat. 'Suddenly, I was beamed into a waiting room for Heaven in a split second. 'I felt very normal and quite comfortable. 'When I reached the other side, I was relieved – it was like home.' Before entering Heaven, she went into a long white tunnel with other souls that were coming and going. Archangel Raphael then made the decision on if you got to dance with God or the Devil. She said: 'He was sitting at a desk going through and stamping papers with information of the souls. 'There was a bright and light energy around it; the total opposite to what I thought Hell was like. 'No one used words, but we still communicated. 'A familiar feeling came over me as some souls went to the end of the tunnel – and I knew I wasn't supposed to go there. 'I still had my physical body, whereas other souls were just orbs of light passing through.' 8 8 When it was her turn to approach Archangel Raphael, he stamped her ticket and reversed the crash. Yoga said: 'He got the okay from God to save my life. 'When I went back into my physical body, my car was miraculously on the road with no scratches or bumps. 'It was like a scene from a movie. 'I was filled with purpose and the information I had received rearranged my body. 'A piece of my brain had been activated – and the process was complete.' Yoga, scared, turned the car around and headed back home. She said: 'I feel as if a higher power got me back safely that day. 'I hadn't realised the breath and depth of what had happened to me. 'I felt between worlds, like a part of me was still in Heaven's waiting room. 'A few weeks later, I struggled to breathe while driving again and I rushed to the hospital.' Doctors tried to prescribe her anti- anxiety medication, but she says a voice full of wisdom spoke internally and urged her to leave. Now, this voice guides her each and every day and she's since gone on to achieve several certificates in healing, detox and cleansing as part of her new path. Yoga uses her journey to help other people understand their near death experiences through her work as a holistic healer. She added: 'God chose to save my life and send me back here to have a beautiful journey. 'People say I seem different; but it's just the new me. 8 8 8 'I've had to deal with insomnia, anxiety and mental fog due to everything not making sense anymore. 'I haven't touched any drug, alcohol, caffeine, medicine or animal-based products since to cleanse my body. 'But I've come to learn that what we do on Earth is backwards. 'This reality here isn't our only reality – or our permanent one. 'Hell taught me a lot; I learned the importance of compassion for others. 'I'm not fearful about experiencing it again and I'm happy to have been able to escape the boxes we create for ourselves that only hurt us in the long run. 'People need to wake up so we can get as close as possible to our true nature before it's too late.' What is a near-death experience? A near-death experience (NDE) is a profound, personal experience reported by individuals who have been close to death or in a life-threatening situation. These experiences often involve vivid, unusual, and realistic sensations and perceptions that can include out-of-body experiences, feelings of peace and well-being, seeing a bright light, and encountering deceased loved ones or other beings. Key features of near-death experiences Out-of-body experiences: Individuals may feel detached from their physical body, observing the scene from a different perspective. Tunnel vision and bright light: Many report moving through a dark tunnel toward a bright light. Feelings of peace and well-being: NDEs are often described as intensely positive, with feelings of serenity, love, and joy. Life review: Some individuals report a rapid review of their past life events. Encountering others: People may encounter deceased loved ones, religious figures, or other beings. Possible explanations While there isn't a universally accepted scientific explanation for NDEs, some theories suggest they may be related to: Physiological changes Possible changes in brain activity during periods of oxygen deprivation or stress could contribute to the experiences. Psychological responses The mind might generate these experiences as a coping mechanism in the face of death. Spiritual interpretations Some individuals interpret NDEs as evidence of an afterlife or a connection to a higher power.

KUČKA Announces 'Can You Hear Me Dreaming?' Deluxe Album
[23 July 2025] Producer, vocalist and creative powerhouse KUČKA marks a year of her sophomore album Can You Hear Me Dreaming? with a deluxe package, featuring bonus tracks and previously unreleased remixes from Jacques Greene, Nosaj Thing, MESSIE, PESH, and BUFFEE out Wednesday August 27 via Mushroom Music. The deluxe record expands the world of Can You Hear Me Dreaming? with a suite of sparkling remixes that steps us out of the clouds and into the club. KUČKA calls on a diverse list of artists, including rising Asian-American producer Tsu Nami, Fred Again.. collaborator MESSIE, and labelmates Nosaj Thing and Jacques Greene deliver their first remix under new collaborative moniker Verses GT. The deluxe release also includes Hazboy's winning entry from a remix competition KUČKA held with her community of fans in conjunction with Ableton earlier this year. Setting the tone for the deluxe offering is lead single Heaven (MESSIE remix) which releases today. KUČKA says 'MESSIE is a super exciting new DJ and producer so I was so happy when she agreed to remix 'Heaven'. I love what she brought to the track, keeping the core DNA of the original but adding the perfect little bit of heat with a subtle jersey beat'. Where KUČKA's debut album, Wrestling, was an intimate exploration of queer identity, the LA-based artist's second full-length broke through the clouds of introspection into a zone of playful fantasy. Exploring 'emotional voyeurism' - a term she coined and describes as 'attempting to understand someone through an (imagined) emotional standpoint instead of a purely logical one' - she leaned heavily into the whims of her 'cartoon brain' that runs on dream logic, wherein symbols and imagery interact chaotically as a vehicle for deeper emotional landscapes. Can You Hear Me Dreaming? (Deluxe) is out on Fri 27 Aug. MORE ABOUT KUČKA… KUČKA, the moniker of electronic producer and songwriter Laura Jane Lowther, has soared over a decade of artistic evolution since her debut EP in 2012. From her early self-produced works to collaborations with the likes of Flume, A$AP Rocky, and Kendrick Lamar, she has carved a niche as both a remarkable producer and vocalist. Her debut album, Wrestling, in 2021, earned widespread acclaim for its candid portrayal of love, growth, and the nuances of her global and queer identity. In 2024 KUČKA released her sophomore album Can You Hear Me Dreaming? exploring the concept of 'emotional voyeurism', and garnered international praise and prominent playlisting. The album followed years of global touring and collaborations with Flume, including Coachella, Red Rocks, and sold-out solo shows at Dark Mofo and Sydney Opera House (VIVID Live).
