Shocking footage shows YouTuber Finny Da Legend and wife shot dead mid-livestream in Las Vegas

The livestream, originally broadcast on YouTube, was removed by the platform, but a clip showing the fatal moment has since gone viral on social media. The footage shows the couple relaxing and chatting when a man, later identified as the assailant, suddenly opened fire.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the shooting took place around 10:40 pm on South Las Vegas Boulevard. Officers on routine patrol nearby reportedly heard gunfire and rushed to the scene.
In an official statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), the LVMPD said:
'On June 8, 2025, at approximately 10:40 pm, LVMPD officers were on routine patrol in the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard when they heard gunfire coming from the west side of the street. The officers immediately ran toward the area where the gunfire was heard and located two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived, and the two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. This is an ongoing investigation being led by the LVMPD Homicide Section.'
Authorities have identified the suspect as 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz. In a major development, the LVMPD confirmed that Ruiz turned himself in the following day.
'Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz as the suspect in this case. On June 9, 2025, Ruiz walked into a Henderson Police Station and turned himself in. He was taken into custody and will be booked into the Clark County Detention Center for two counts of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon,' the department's statement added.

Through the group, Singh was persuaded to open a trading account via a fake app. Over time, he was tricked into transferring a total of ₹48.5 lakh under the illusion of profitable investments. The first accused, Suresh Kumar Verma (resident of Ganganagar, Rajasthan; currently living in Zirakpur, Punjab), was arrested. He was remanded to 8 days of police custody and later sent to judicial custody on August 18. Based on leads provided by Suresh Kumar, police arrested two more suspects — Ritesh Kumar and Pravesh Kumar. Both are currently under 8-day police remand. Police are now working on recovering the scammed amount and identifying other members of the cyber fraud syndicate. Fishermen hold rail roko in Rameswaram against SL navy
Rameswaram: The Rameswaram–Tambaram Express (train no. 16104) was briefly blocked on Tuesday evening after around 1,200 fisherfolk, including 450 women, held a rail roko protest in Rameswaram condemning the Sri Lankan navy's action against Tamil Nadu fishermen. The fishermen, who were on strike for the past nine days, demanded the release of Indian fishermen and boats seized by the Sri Lankan navy. They also condemned the recent fines of 3.5 lakh each imposed on nine fishermen by a Sri Lankan court. The agitation, led by Jesuraja, president of the All Traditional Power Boat Fishermen Association, and Samson of the Theevu Paradhavar Welfare United Association, was held at level crossing gate (No 532) between Rameswaram and Pamban block station. The train, scheduled to depart at 4pm, left Rameswaram with a 26-minute delay and was further held up at the protest spot from 4.45pm to 5.06pm. It resumed its journey after Ramanathapuram superintendent of police, G Chandeesh and district revenue officials held talks with the fishermen leaders and secured assurances. Pharma college principal loses 78L to Netherlands' job bait
Pune: Cybercrooks duped a private pharmacy college principal (44) of Rs77.6 lakh between Dec 2024 and July on the pretext of a technical manager's job in a pharmaceutical company in the Netherlands. A case was registered with the Wakad police on Monday and later transferred to the Pimpri Chinchwad cybercrime police for further investigations. Assistant police inspector Subhash Chavan of the Wakad police said the college principal is a resident of Wakad and works in a private pharmacy college in Maval taluka. "After the victim accepted the offer, the HR manager told him to transfer Rs1.3 lakh under the pretext of some charges. The alleged HR manager assured the victim that the money would be returned," Chavan said. The officer said the crooks then demanded more money from the principal citing different reasons, including visa charges, airfare and payment of two months' salary in advance in Euros. "As the demands continued, the victim transferred Rs 77.62 lakkh between Dec 2024 and July this year to different bank accounts," he said. An officer from the Pimpri Chinchwad cybercrime cell said the police have sought details of bank transactions from the complainant's bank.
