YouTuber SinCity-MannyWise claims that he shot streamer Finny Da Legend in ‘self-defense' in Las Vegas
Sin-City MannyWise shot Finny Da Legend and his wife Bubbly in Las Vegas (Image via Youtube) What started as digital beef between two livestreaming personalities has now become the center of a real-life courtroom drama. Manuel Ruiz, better known online as SinCity-MannyWise, is facing two murder charges after allegedly shooting fellow YouTuber Rodney Finley a.k.a. Finny Da Legend and his wife Tanisha Finley (Bubbly) near the Bellagio fountains. But in a surprising twist, Ruiz is now claiming it was all self-defense. A Stream That Turned Into Tragedy The tragedy took place on Sunday, June 8, 2025. YouTuber Finny Da Legend and his wife Bubbly were shot while livestreaming outside the Bellagio. The accused in the case is SinCity-MannyWise, a well-known Vegas-based streamer. Authorities say the confrontation was the culmination of a long-simmering online feud that began in 2023. What began as trolling, copyright strikes, and petty digital wars eventually spilled into the real world, with deadly consequences. SinCity-MannyWise's Court Claim: 'I Thought He Had a Gun' SinCity-MannyWise appeared in court Tuesday morning and told the judge he opened fire because he feared for his life. According to his statement, Finny Da Legend made a threatening motion, reached toward his waistband, and said, 'What up, cuz?'—a phrase SinCity-MannyWise claims he interpreted as a threat. Believing Finny was about to pull a weapon, he says he fired in self-defense. He also admitted to shooting Bubbly, saying he thought she had a 'shiny black object,' which he feared was a gun. That object was later identified by witnesses as a phone gimbal. The judge denied bail, and SinCity-MannyWise now faces two counts of murder. He remains in custody at the Clark County Detention Center. This The Real Reason Sin City Manny K*lled Finny Da Legend And His Wife (RECEIPTS & FOOTAGE) A Toxic History Between the Two Creators The feud between Finny Da Legend and SinCity-MannyWise wasn't new. According to fellow streamers, things escalated in 2023 when SinCity-MannyWise allegedly pepper-sprayed Bubbly during an in-person encounter. Rather than retaliate physically, Finny Da Legend responded online, trolling SinCity-MannyWise on livestreams and mocking his content. Their online war spiraled from there, with Finny Da Legend frequently watching and reacting to SinCity-MannyWise's videos on stream. SinCity-MannyWise reportedly retaliated using YouTube's copyright system, striking Finny's videos and demonetizing his content. In one of Finny Da Legend's streams, a voiceover of Donald Trump mockingly said, ' I want to say f*** Sin City Family and f*** Manny ,' referring to SinCity-MannyWise and his followers. Community Reeling from the Aftermath While internet users continue to argue about who was right and who was wrong, what's clear is that this was more than just online drama. Two people are now gone—Finny Da Legend, known for his energetic Vegas streams, and Bubbly, who brought warmth and light to every broadcast. SinCity-MannyWise's self-defense claim is now the center of a murder case that has gripped both the streaming world and the wider public. Whether it holds up in court is yet to be seen, but one thing is certain: this is a tragic reminder of what happens when digital rivalries spill into real life.

Moment YouTuber 'opened fire on his rival and wife' in front of Bellagio fountain in Las Vegas
A YouTuber is accused of shooting dead a rival and his wife during a livestream on the Las Vegas strip after a year-long feud. Manuel Diaz Ruiz, 41, walked into the Henderson Police Department on Monday morning and turned himself in after Sunday night's shooting. He is behind bars at the Clark County Detention Center charged with two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon. Ruiz, better known as 'SinCity-MannyWise', allegedly shot dead fellow YouTuber 'Finny Da Legend' and his wife, known as Bubbly, about 10.40pm. 'It is believed that the suspect and victims knew each other, and had previously engaged in conflict over social media prior to the shooting,' police said. The Clark County Coroner's Office said it was not yet able to release the names of the victims. Finny was livestreaming outside the Bellagio Casino at the time of the shooting, facing across the famous strip to the Paris Casino. The video showed Finny looking into the camera, which appeared to be on a tripod, before turning away and off to the right. A man wearing a yellow and black top, baseball cap, and sunglasses - alleged to be Ruiz - appeared in the frame. Bubbly appeared to be trying to block him from getting to Finny, but he weaved around her and fired several shots as bystanders ducked for cover. 'Are you f**king kidding me?!' a horrified Bubbly screamed as she grabbed the camera. More gunfire could be heard as she and the camera clattered to the ground. Other video from passersby showed her lying dead on the ground with her bottom half covered by a white sheet. Finny earlier that evening spent more than two hours livestreaming himself and Bubbly wandering around Las Vegas. Bubbly was wearing the same blue jumpsuit and necklace as in the shooting video, and Finny was wearing a different shirt. Ruiz posted a video earlier that fans believed was him driving around looking for Finny and allegedly tracking his location via his rival's livestream. 'I went through every f**king casino there is... I heard there was one of my biggest fans here in town, I'm dying to see him,' he said. 'Come to my city and think I'm not gonna show up? I should have been the first one to be told, somebody should have sent me my invite.' Ruiz then began aggressively barking like a dog and added: 'Wherever you you go I will be there... I have to say hi to my biggest fan. 'When I heard [that he was in town] I jumped out of my bed, I came here so f**king fast.' The two YouTubers have had beef for more than a year, which other vloggers said started when Ruiz pepper-sprayed Bubbly in 2023. More than 50 videos still up on Finny's profile attacked Ruiz and the 'Sin City Family' of YouTubers associated with him. One of the videos about six months ago claimed he received a death threat from Ruiz. Finny also filed a harassment complaint earlier this year. Ruiz's partner Julie Pimentel AKA 'SinCity Julie' or 'PManny' was recorded at the scene later but is not believed to be a suspect. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said officers responded to a shooting on the 3600 block of S Las Vegas Boulevard at 10.40pm. They said that offers found two people with apparent gunshot wounds, who were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. 'At this time, we believe this to be an isolated incident, and a possible suspect has been identified, police said. Ruiz posted a video earlier that fans believed was him driving around looking for Finny and allegedly tracking his location via his rival's livestream The shooting harks back to the 2017 mass shooting when 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on the crowd attending the Route 91 Harvest music festival from his 32nd-floor suites in the Mandalay Bay hotel. The shooter fired over 1,000 rounds and killed 60, additionally wounding at least 413 others. The stampede caused by panicked people rushing out of the area brought the total number of injured people to nearly 870. Just one hour after the shooting, Paddock was found dead in room after taking his own life. To this day, the motive for the attack has not been officially determined.
