What started as digital beef between two livestreaming personalities has now become the center of a real-life courtroom drama. Manuel Ruiz, better known online as SinCity-MannyWise, is facing two murder charges after allegedly shooting fellow YouTuber Rodney Finley a.k.a.
Finny Da Legend and his wife Tanisha Finley (Bubbly) near the Bellagio fountains. But in a surprising twist, Ruiz is now claiming it was all self-defense.
A Stream That Turned Into Tragedy
The tragedy took place on Sunday, June 8, 2025. YouTuber Finny Da Legend and his wife Bubbly were shot while livestreaming outside the Bellagio. The accused in the case is SinCity-MannyWise, a well-known Vegas-based streamer.
Authorities say the confrontation was the culmination of a long-simmering online feud that began in 2023.
What began as trolling, copyright strikes, and petty digital wars eventually spilled into the real world, with deadly consequences.
SinCity-MannyWise's Court Claim: 'I Thought He Had a Gun'
SinCity-MannyWise appeared in court Tuesday morning and told the judge he opened fire because he feared for his life.
According to his statement, Finny Da Legend made a threatening motion, reached toward his waistband, and said, 'What up, cuz?'—a phrase SinCity-MannyWise claims he interpreted as a threat.
Believing Finny was about to pull a weapon, he says he fired in self-defense.
He also admitted to shooting Bubbly, saying he thought she had a 'shiny black object,' which he feared was a gun. That object was later identified by witnesses as a phone gimbal.
The judge denied bail, and SinCity-MannyWise now faces two counts of murder. He remains in custody at the Clark County Detention Center.

A Toxic History Between the Two Creators
The feud between Finny Da Legend and SinCity-MannyWise wasn't new.
According to fellow streamers, things escalated in 2023 when SinCity-MannyWise allegedly pepper-sprayed Bubbly during an in-person encounter. Rather than retaliate physically, Finny Da Legend responded online, trolling SinCity-MannyWise on livestreams and mocking his content.
Their online war spiraled from there, with Finny Da Legend frequently watching and reacting to SinCity-MannyWise's videos on stream.
SinCity-MannyWise reportedly retaliated using YouTube's copyright system, striking Finny's videos and demonetizing his content.
In one of Finny Da Legend's streams, a voiceover of Donald Trump mockingly said, '
I want to say f*** Sin City Family and f*** Manny
,' referring to SinCity-MannyWise and his followers.
Community Reeling from the Aftermath
While internet users continue to argue about who was right and who was wrong, what's clear is that this was more than just online drama.
Two people are now gone—Finny Da Legend, known for his energetic Vegas streams, and Bubbly, who brought warmth and light to every broadcast.
SinCity-MannyWise's self-defense claim is now the center of a murder case that has gripped both the streaming world and the wider public. Whether it holds up in court is yet to be seen, but one thing is certain: this is a tragic reminder of what happens when digital rivalries spill into real life.

Dil Raju denounces industry practice of buying YouTube views for trailers, songs: ‘Don't want to fake numbers anymore'

Producer Dil Raju attended the trailer launch of his upcoming film Thammudu, starring Nithiin. He opened up about the industry practice of buying YouTube views for trailers and songs, announcing that he's denouncing it. Here's what he said. (Also Read: Allu Aravind backs Pawan Kalyan and questions theatre bandh during HHVM release; Dil Raju claims 'miscommunication') Raju stated at the event that he has directed his PR team not to buy any views on YouTube for Thammudu's trailer or songs. He said, 'I've been meaning to talk about this for a while now, and I must address it today. Whatever views you see on YouTube for this film are original. I've told my PR team and everyone working for me that the numbers must reflect real views. I do not want to fake numbers anymore.' He stated that he's adapting this practice so he knows beforehand, as a producer, how much the audience is really interested in his films. 'I want to know how many views my songs or trailers bring in so I'm prepared for how much reach it'll have upon release. When we're buying views, there's a large number for us to show, but we don't really know if it's reaching the intended audience. Even if it's difficult, I've decided to take the first step in doing this,' explained Raju. When everyone looked shocked at the tangent his speech took, Raju claimed that he wasn't stating anything 'controversial', reasoning that it's the only way producers can 'correct' themselves. 'I am not saying anything controversial. I believe we (producers) will know how to correct ourselves only when we see genuine numbers. If the film is worth it, people will watch it anyway. Look at how Sankranthiki Vasthunam became an all-time record. Court also became a super hit. 2025 has proved that all we need is good content.' In January this year, Raju was called out by the press for releasing a poster for the Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, claiming it earned over ₹186 crore worldwide on its opening day, when in reality it earned that amount in its lifetime. He defensively said, 'I've already said we (producers) have weaknesses we can't discuss. I admit that, no. Don't you know how much the film has already collected? So you calculate and put out posters for films now.'

Pakistan's record on terrorism is very clear: India

New Delhi, June 12 (UNI) 'Pakistan's track record is very clear,' India said on Thursday as it sought to remind the US about Islamabad's history of supporting terrorism, including granting of shelter to Osama Bin Laden. The assertion by External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal came a day after US Central Command Chief General Michael Kurilla praised Pakistan, saying it was a 'phenomenal counter-terrorism partner' in the fight against terrorism and also commended it for support in operations against ISIS. 'We all know Pahalgam attack is only the recent example of cross-border terrorism. I would remind you that only recently one of the conspirators of 26/11 Tahawwur Rana was extradited from the US to India,' Jaiswal said during the weekly briefing. Rana, Pakistani origin Canadian citizen, is associated with Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit and was one of the key plotter of Mumbai terror attack of 2008. 'Obviously none of us have forgotten that Pakistan gave shelter to Osama bin Laden. It is significant that the person and you would be aware that Dr Shakeel Afridi, who helped locate Osama Bin Laden is still imprisoned by Pakistani military,' he added. Laden, chief of Al-Qaida terror network, was found and killed by Special Forces of America in May 2011 in a surgical operation at a residential house in Abbottabad, near Pakistan's capital Islamabad and close to military cantonment.
